One of my favorite places for dining in the city.

Ordered prosciutto cotto and got prosciutto crudo, asked for a substitution and it was denied, cappuccino was cold and service was impersonal almost snooty!!!

The restaurant is always reliable. One of my favorites in Manhattan.

great outdoor dining experience. safe, clean, space for out three person party. plenty of fresh air but still felt private. excellent service and great food. they do old world european cafe like no one else in nyc.

The menu was very diverse and had many good choices. The food and service were excellent. It was very pricey, however. Excellent wine list and wines.

Atmosphere in the outdoor heated cabins is among best in New York. Warm, cozy, and nice. Food is pretty good, expensive. Service fast.

Weekend breakfast. Nice overall experience. Cold was good, as an avid tea drinker, I liked the fact that, as an Italian cafe, they served an Italian tea brand; good attention to detail. Had better value for money at higher end hotels though.

It took a while for us to finally get the bill. I got the eggs with shaved Parmesan and was underwhelmed especially for the cost. Otherwise, the restaurant was lovely and our server was very nice.

The food is reliably great. The avocado toast with soft-boiled eggs is to die for. The best latte/cappuccino in town. Price is not for the faint of heart, but if you like a great breakfast, S A can't be beat!

Very peasant experience. Staff I very friendly. Food was very good. I was even offered there best seller desert for free for my birthday.

We ordered Bellini's, Coffee, Smoked Salmon and Carbonara. Good service, tasty food.

the service at Madison is consistently excellent, and as good as any place we've ever dined. always unassuming and unpretentious. no one ever talks about "taking care of you tonight". they simply do it.

I love Saint Ambroeus, especially this location. It is my favorite, even during the no indoor dining period. The staff is always so kind and courteous. The food always delicious. I do wish they would add the gnocchi special to the permanent menu. It is one of the most delicious dishes I’ve ever tasted!! T hi is will always be on my list of top NYC restaurants.

Embarrassing in front of my business clients when they insisted that there was no reservation but could accommodate us.. It made me look disorganized and unprofessional. Most upsetting.

What a great place. As close to being in Rome as you can get. From the front of the restaurant, which has small tables, a friendly bustle, a coffee bar with the BEST coffee in NYC, plus yummy desserts and gelato, to the white tablecloth seating in the back of the restaurant w helpful, professional service and delicious menu, it doesn’t get better than this.

we sat in the back room. having made a reservation, they kindly let us stay for a pastry and a hot drink. very nice, felt like back in rome. not cheap

Their salads are not far behind. We both ordered pasta---quite good!

It will always remain one of my favorite neighborhood go-to places.

A joyous atmosphere. Perfect for our lunch. As a New Yorke native, I tend to be critical. However, our experience touched all the bases. We loved our experience there.
