Love that it is small and quiet so you can converse during dinner
I travel frequently all over the world. Sansone's Bistro could be found anywhere in Europe: Bienna, Berlin or Barcelona or in New York or Chicago. Sansone's is an unassuming gem of a restaurant.
Exceptional dinner. The owner and chef, Robert, has a great menu. We are wonderfully greeted by the co-owner, Ericka, who makes sure everything is well organized. Bring a friend and enjoy!
This restaurant is small and quiet. The menu is diverse and the food is very good. I like that many of the dishes are available in a smaller serving for a lower price. It is so nice to dine in a restaurant that does not have loud music and you can talk to the people you are dining with.
We generally treasure our experience at Sansones and the service and attention were great. Maybe an off night but the food was off. She had the Wienerschnitzelthat was just OK and I had the Veal Picatta that was soaked in lemon. I should have sent it back but did not because we had limited time to spend at dinner.
The a atmosphere and service definitely does not match the outstanding food. We had reservations for 7 and were asked to sit at the bar because our table was not ready for another 20 min. It took a very long time for a waiter to come to our table. There was an extremely long wait time between courses. It was a set menu for Christmas Eve and there was no vegetarian choice for the entrée. We had to ask several times for our water to be refilled. The restaurant decor needs to be updated to match the price and quality of the food.
Disappointing. Christmas Eve special not worth the money. Appetizer and soup was the best part of the meal. Will not be rushing back
I really wanted to find a new go-to place but I will have to keep searching.
The man who greeted us and appeared to be the manager or owner, was not friendly so we did not feel welcome.
Some of the dishes were good, nothing super, but the charcuterie tray was nothing fancy and one of the meats may have been bad. The steak was very good. The seafood trio was just ok though.
Delicious neighborhood gem. The filet mignon whole grain mustard sauce was tender and delicious. Rack of lamb was also tasty. Both were slightly under done to our temperature preferences. The artichoke appetizer was also very good. First time for us, but we will be back!
Outstanding! Reminds me of the wonderful Bistro style restaurants from NYC.
Great food, wonderful service and a great atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident.

Excellent overall! Chef had new goat cheese with apricot and dig and was superb. Meals were excellent and service was solid.

For our fifth visit to Sansone's this year, we hosted friends who agreed with our assessment that this is one of the best restaurants in the Denver area. My choice was a flet special that featured one of the most tender and perfectly prepared filets to be found anywhere.
There were three of us and we each had a different entree. We all enjoyed our choices. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Our server was very pleasant and attentive.
Sansone's is one of our favorite restaurants.
