Come treat yourself to the Sanraku Metreon dining experience in our newly remodeled space. Our chefs and friendly staff await you..
We had a wonderful dinner at Sanraku last night.
Their chirashi sushi was so delicious. All the sashimi were so fresh, especially kanpachi, kinmedai and salmon tasted like a gold!
We recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for delicious Japanese food. Also their servers were nice and attentive.
Great place for lunch. Food is very good and quick serving food.
Food, drink( Suigei 1.8 L), atmosphere were all good. Hitomi was a great fun waitress!
Consistently great sushi and Japanese food. Try the tempura, it's always cooked perfectly. The dragon roll is maybe the best we've had. Conveniently located for pre- or post-movie dining and other Yerba Buena/Metreon activities.
Food was fresh
It's mall sushi, but actually REALLY good, fresh fish.
Food was fresh. Good experience. I’d go back.
Chicken Teriyaki was amazing, slightly dissapointed that I could not get anything but shrimp tempura, I wanted them teriyaki prawns and would have paid for it.
Always very fresh and high quality fish selection. The staff are super attentive and accommodating, and I always leave satisfied. It’s my go to sushi spot in the city.
staff was very courteous and food was tasty! Thanks!
Service was slow
We had a wonderful and delicious experience at Sanraku. From the first moment the service was attentive, friendly, and very efficient. It was not overly busy so i am not sure what the noise level would be like if the space was packed, but there were still a good number of diners, and we could have a conversation without shouting. The food was excellent, the hot tea free of charge, and the room was cozy on a cold night.
Was located in a food court and it was hard to find, but the food was good.
Disappointed that our Salmon collar (both orders) was not cooked. We let our server know and asked to remove one of them from our bill but she did not. She didn't seem to care that much.
Food was good as always. Service was not as good as always. Maybe it was just on off evening.
Feel like back to Tokyo. The food, service, the beer.....a quick two hours dinning in Japan.
It is good for daily dinning, a date or dinning with friend.
Tasty sushi, we enjoyed the chef special, tempura, cucumber salad, wine and mochi black bean and mango - all delicious, modest price for SF and highly recommend.
Good food, good value, ok ambience, a bit abrupt of the service (I guess they want to turn over the tables quickly)
Dinner with my 9 year old. The Omakase Sushi was nice but took a while to prepare. But the staff were upfront about it and helpful throughout. Recommended.
Excellent tasty sushi, gyoza and gomae. Great after a movie at the Metreon or Westfield.
Sanraku has been around for some time and very nostalgic for me. Food is still great and friendly staff. I definitely will be coming back.
The service is confused, but not unfriendly (we received the wrong item twice, but they quickly replaced). They need help with their wine selections (as in, they need wine selections).
Service and staff are always exceptionally friendly, fast, professional, and accommodating. Love their dishes and especially their fresh fish. Always a pleasure to dine here.
Food is okay but overprice.
Always great. Very reliable.
Sanraku is my restaurant of choice when I am at the Metreon.
Great food and service.
Sanraku is my top choice when dining at the Metreon.
For the price, the best sushi in town, and I should know as I have been living in Japan for the last 39 years. I think is can easily say that I have eaten a lot of sushi. I don't typically go to Japanese restaurants in the States, but I have been back to Sanraku Metreon several times now. The junmai daiginjo sake lineup is also excellent. If you have had sushi in the Ginza, you will appreciate the sushi here. I also enjoy chatting in Japanese with the staff behind the counter. Highly recommended.
Had an unusually mediocre dinner @ Sanraku/Metreon. Tempura was bland. Sesame chicken was overcooked, dry. Service was perfunctory. They can (and sometimes do) better. Inconsistency is death.
Had a great early dinner. Fantastic!
Sanraku was great. As a Japanese, I always look for a good authentic Sushi restaurant and Sanraku is one of the best with a reasonable price. Highly recommended. The only issue is that they close a bit early.
It is in the mall, so a bit noisy. Fish was good enough, especially Kasugodai was great. We hoped they had more appetizer options.
I would recommend Sanraku for a good, quick and convenient place to eat prior to a show at Yerba Buena. Staff were very friendly
Excellent sushi and super accommodating staff. Can't wait to go back! :-)
Excellent food, great service, outstanding value. We loved it!
アメリカの和食としては十分及第点です。味は日本と遜色なくサービスもにほんの女性が気が利いた対応です。サンフランシスコの和食ではナイスです。
Decent sushi, nothing special. Super nice staff but they were busy, and our sushi took a long time to be made. With all the great places in SF I’d suggest trying some where else first
Service could be improved a lot. Location is okay.
Friendly staff, reasonably priced good food in.a convenient location. Casual atmosphere. Perfect place to meet up with friends.
Not particularly impressed with Sashimi. The pieces don’t taste fresh.
