Sanraku Metreon is tucked into Yerba Buena Gardens, located inside the Metreon in SOMA, just a short walk from several of SF's best museums, the Moscone Center, Imax and other movies. We serve only the freshest fish, with a great selection of traditional sushi and cooked dishes in our very complete and imaginative menu. Diners' favorites include: sesame chicken, oyster shooters, whole grilled squid with our memorable sauce, salmon salad, tender and flavorful harami skewers, the lunchtime bento box. We are pleased to serve our Vegetarian Sushi to our non-fish eating diners.

We had a wonderful dinner at Sanraku last night. Their chirashi sushi was so delicious. All the sashimi were so fresh, especially kanpachi, kinmedai and salmon tasted like a gold! We recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for delicious Japanese food. Also their servers were nice and attentive.

Consistently great sushi and Japanese food. Try the tempura, it's always cooked perfectly. The dragon roll is maybe the best we've had. Conveniently located for pre- or post-movie dining and other Yerba Buena/Metreon activities.

Chicken Teriyaki was amazing, slightly dissapointed that I could not get anything but shrimp tempura, I wanted them teriyaki prawns and would have paid for it.

Always very fresh and high quality fish selection. The staff are super attentive and accommodating, and I always leave satisfied. It’s my go to sushi spot in the city.
