Food and service was amazing! Had a wonderful time with my family. I highly recommend!
Service was great, but food needs work. Not true tapas. Paella was not good. Looked like fried rice and was greasy .
The tapas were good but entrees were subpar.
Bayside has no shortage of restaurants. Tried Sangaritas for the first time. Nice small plates (not too small). Flavorful and well prepared. Service was friendly, attentive and made us feel like we were valued guests. The Croquetas de Jamon was especially good as was the traditional sangria. Safe to say we will return.
The entrees of Paella and Lamb Chops were great. The Red Sangria was potent!
I didn't know what to order coming into the restaurant as I didn't look too much into the menu when reserving, but I knew it was good from other reviews. When looking at the menu at the restaurant, everything looked good! We settled on five of the tapas choices, the roasted cauliflower, the stuffed mushrooms, the croquetas de jamon, the grilled squid with hummus, and the chicharron. Every plate was delicious and just enough to make you ready for the main course. The paella was filling and flavorful. The only thing missing was the crispy bottom of rice, but that can be overlooked. The desserts were also delicious. The flan was light and sweet. The ice cream with espresso was smooth and creamy. You can't go wrong having a dinner here with your significant other or a party of friends. Plus the fruit sangrias are nice and light. You won't notice your cup is done until your pitcher is done too! The wait staff is also very friendly and helpful with suggesting choices to order. I will definitely be returning again.
My first time here. Nice extensive tapas menu. Shared plates with my sister so got to sample a few items. The waitress will make some recommendations. Loved the side order of tostones. Will definitely return.
Food was good, entertainment was great, sangrias were good
A wonderful surprise
Only complaint is that multiple dishes served at once in rapid succession ! Not the way tapas should be served
Pace it out and let us enjoy the meal
First time here! Great spot. Tapas menu was great with lots of different options. We had garlic shrimp. Tuna. Baked clams. Seafood paella. All delicious. Paella was moist and fish was fresh.
Sangria (red) was great. Not sweet and had a kick to it. Will be back
Amazing place. Food was delicious and ambiance was excellent!
Very nice restaurant, friendly staff, good food .
great sangria paella in all forms very fresh and tasty.
service and wait staff accomadting
We enjoyed the cubanito sliders as well as the paella very much. The red Sangria was excellent and the guitarists seemed to have a lot of fun and were nice to listen to. I will definitely go back and can only recommend it.
Food and drinks were delicious.
Waitress was wonderful.
Nice place and food. Service good but way to loud to have a conversation
great sangria . very good paella and tasty skirt steak
We ordered lobster paella and they gave use walnut crackers to open the claws. I punctured my hand with the shell. However they did give me a band aid and some sangria. Just don’t order lobster till they get some real crackers. The wait staff were very attentive!
This was our 2nd visit and it was as good as the 1st. Food was outstanding, sangria was excellent, service was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and go back again. Worth the drive from Nassau County.
Nice ambiance, delicious food, attentive waitresses
Sangarita’s is a gem! The service is wonderful, the food is outstanding and the drinks are delicious! What more can you ask for? There are many different sangrias to choose from including peach, leechee, mango and more. The appetizers are not to be missed. Start with the chicharrón, small fried pork belly pieces served with a yummy oil, vinegar and garlic sauce and fried plantains. Then move on to the grilled octopus. If you have never eaten octopus then this is the place to try it. The octopus is perfectly grilled and tender. Afterwards order the garlic shrimp and don’t forget to ask for bread to sop up the sauce. You can’t leave without tasting the paella. It’s a perfect appetizer or main dish.
We've been wanting to try this place since it opened and so glad we did. We went on Wednesday which is Happy Hour for ladies! Sangria is delicious and strong. Their food comes out FAST so be warned. We were greedy little pigs and ordered a LOT of tapas and they just kept coming out. Next time I'll know to order them a little at a time. (Going back tonite actually.) They have a tasting menu. Looks interesting but I think you have to be very hungry!
very fresh good food excellent paella skirt steak was cooked to perfection.the sangrias are varied and very good
Excellent food ,the Skirt steak was done medium as ordered& tasted great,
You the side of fries substituted for the plantains were hot & crisp. My wife’s Margarita on the rocks was perfect.
We sat at the bar & Jasmine was the perfect bartender
This was our third time dining at Sangarita’s
& we will be back
Went here on a date with my boyfriend and the servers were very pleasant to deal with. They suggested what tapas to get and even let us try out all their sangria flavors. Everyone was very welcoming and wanted to make sure we had a great time. We’ll definitely be back.
Excellent food and an enjoyable evening in this Spanish like bistro. Nice to have live classical guitar and dancer but volume a challenge for conversation between friends.
Will certainly return.
Always enjoy the food, drinks and the wait staff.
Juan is a great waiter
Very friendly and accommodating
Tapas, sangria, and the best paella! Service was excellent, food was amazing. We will be back.
Sangarita's never disappoints. They always have lots of Sangria and cocktail options. This weekend they had Pear and White Grape sangria. Lots of great appetizers and dinners. Also easy to pair a few appetizers into a great meal. Don't miss the Salumeria, an assortment of Spanish hams and cheeses.
Overall, food was amazing But service could of been better. Although mangers did accomodate us because of the slow service and missing entrees/apps, if I didnt Say something they’d probably charge us anyway.
Margaritas were good, strong enough. No music really, so it can get loud with people talking.
Very nice restaurant. Cozy place. The paella de mariscos was delicious and the sangria super. I deff recommend this place.
We enjoyed a nice evening at Sangarita's. Our family grew up in Bayside so we decided to go back to the neighborhood. They offer complementary valet parking as the restaurant is located on a busy strip. The staff was very friendly from the hostess to waiter to servers. They were all courteous, patient and very knowledgeable with their recommendations. We enjoyed all the tapas and paellas and would rate them all very high... we've had tapas from all over the country as well as Spain. The dishes here were very flavorful and moderately priced. We were seated downstairs and were glad we were there as it was less busy and more quiet. We selected Sangarita based on the good reviews and it did not disappoint.
The foods was delicious. The skirt steaks was cooked to the right temperature and tasted great. The service was excellent! We never have any bad experience here. Great foods + great services = great restaurant!
Food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice including the music that was playing.
Always an enjoyable evening of good food and drink. Great service
New Year’s Eve
Friendly staff good food
This is a great place to meet for tapas. Service is great and food is delicious.
The paella Valencia is soon good. Hummus with grilled octopus and homemade chips is a must have!
This place never disappoints. The service could not be more friendly. The tapas are my favorite part of the menu. Different sangria flavors too.
