We enjoyed a wonderful meal on the ocean view patio. Best cheeseburgers in the area! Our server, Dustin, was excellent and took great care of us. We will return for sure!
Was a great experience. The jambalaya was wonderful ! Even though I did not eat the sausage.
The staff were excellent
Can’t beat the view, the food and service were very good as well. The jambalaya was excellent, the clam chowder and fish and chips both very good.
We have been coming to Sanderlings for many years, as it is our favorite coastal restaurant. We normally choose outdoor seating for the beautiful views, then the beach after eating. The food is always great, as was our hamburgers this past Wednesday. Over the years we’ve had many different entrees, and they have always been excellent! If it’s a little chilly, their heat lamps solve the problem. We very definitely recommend Sanderlings,,

What a great venue for outdoor dining during COVID. Food, service, and view were beyond our expectations. Great job!

Great outdoor dining experience. Stunning views!
Outdoors and the food was hot and tasty. Heaters made the evening comfortable. Great menu. Chowder is always amazing.
my party of 3 enjoyed a beautiful day with ocean view lunch. the food was good and service great.
Gorgeous view, excellent service, delicious food
The view is pretty but both fish dishes were burnt and tasteless.
Fix the food!
Great food. Great service. Love the ambience. Sunset was through the trees.
Food and service excellent. The next day I was there and upon leaving I fell on the property and was bruised and scratched. The hotel personnel were excellent helping me. Thank you
In making a reservation you were given the option for standard or outdoor dining. When we got there, we were told that we had to be seated outside it was a very foggy and cold night and we weren’t prepared to sit outside. Then a manager came and asked us if we were OK and we said no we were cold and they immediately moved us indoors. I don’t know why they didn’t do that in the beginning, but we were happy to be inside.
We had a lovely lunch on the patio.....myself and 4 family members.....weather was beautiful....food was very good, as was the service.....always enjoy Sanderlings.....
Great View and staff we will be back very soon, and the food was amazing
Have eaten here before. My fish and chips as well as our cocktails were excellent!
the quality and variety of the food is very good. the service is very good. the view is
really nice. some of the wines are very reasonably priced. the food prices are slightly higher than some other establishments. we will definitely be back soon!
Unfortunately after a 20 wait to be seated for brunch (even though we had reservations) after watching many get seated and served brunch. we were informed that they were no longer serving brunch (which apparently only lasts an hour, until 11am— for Sunday brunch???). The hostess attempted to advocate on our behalf since our reservation time met the window, but management/the kitchen refused. The menu offered instead is essentially a heavy dinner menu, which no one wants at 11am. We and another unrelated table who were informed the same thing (and expressed the same disappointment) both decided to leave. This seems to be a poor management decision ( they lost at least two tables) and avoidable (at least inform those waiting 20 minutes for service that brunch will be a no go).
The Sunday Brunch was a pre fixed menu with a few options to choose from. Not sure if its always this way or just due to COVID but it was delicious! My husband chose the steak and eggs, i chose the vegetable eggs benedict. Loved the fruit plate and monkey bread but nothing can compare to the beautiful view!!!
This place was beautiful, but I just wish they had more options for my partner for vegan/ vegetarian diets. Otherwise we had a lovely time. Thank you for everything.
Ambiance is great at the restaurant! We were able to see part of the sunset. As far as the food, it wasn’t that great for the price. There were few choices for main courses and the appetizers are limited at best. I ordered the fish and chips. They were overfried and the fish didn’t taste fresh. The fries that came with the fish were overfried as well and very dry. The salmon entrees were mediocre at best even though the restaurant prides itself on being a seafood establishment. Overall, the restaurant is a 3 out of 5 at best. Definitely not worth the price. I would recommend visiting the bar when it’s fully open. It’s really nice with a fireplace near by and stunning views close to the ocean.
Wonderful location and excellent service. Food is ok but nothing special.
The food was varied, ample, and reasonably priced. The sunset view was amazing!
Steak, was not cooked , was frozen steak watery , dish presentation was like for dogs
The menu was very limited but the food was very good. We had the beet salad, a bit small, calamari and scallops with speghetti squash was my favorite.
Amazing view at sunset! It made my birthday perfect!
The clam chowder and crab cakes are excellent! It was a bit chilly dining on the patio but they try to keep you warm moving around the propane heaters. The waitstaff were very busy so don’t want to complain- we just didn’t see our server much, but understand why. Looking forward to better times without Covid to enjoy this restaurant, but grateful they were open!
The implant was nice to still be expected for an outdoor patio meal. Service is great good communication.
The bad. I wife ordered in New York State which was very good and delicious. My children and I got a hamburger from the menu thinking it was good to be outstanding for $17
Food was poor but service and setting was okay.
The outside view is beautiful over looking the beach. Our server was great and the ceviche was amazinggg.
A very positive dining experience, attentive waitstaff and delicious food.
Mediocre food. Rushed service. Not enough heaters for outdoor dining after dark.
What an amazing view! Absolutely beautiful. The food was tasty, service was good.
Great food, service and view. Wanted to get away with the kids had a great lunch and beach day.
Amazing ocean view! Great atmosphere and delicious food. One of the most favorite restaurants in Aptos area.
Beautiful day, wonder food, all 5 of us raved about what we ordered. Nice attentive service.
The food is excellent! Superb salmon with a delicious crusted exterior and perfectly moist interior. The butternut squash sauce with garlic was so tasty. Reminded me of a PR sofrito my Mother makes. The short ribs and apps also yummy. Compliments to the Chef!
Good overall
