We had friends come in from out of town for brunch, we get to the restaurant and boom! Business Closed! I’m so disappointed in Open table not doing their research.
The place went out of business. No one prevented us.
Came for brunch, the outdoor seating feels removed enough that you don't feel like you're in the middle of a NYC sidewalk. Good food, great tea-inspired drinks. Friendly staff.
The food was ok. Fries came out cold and we did ask for hot ones which came out very hot.
Service was horrible. Waiter took order and took 20 minutes and reminder to deliver beer. Barely checked on us. We drank all of our water and no refills. The guy who ran the food out was the best part of the meal.
I was very surprised by the huge selections of drinks they have. Theirs teas and each of the mixes is very unique and all of the handcrafted beverages, with alcohol and sans it are fantastic. We tried the massala chai, their lavander latte, one of the lavender mimosas and one of their beverages with seltzer and they were incredible.
Their food is ok, we found the bread on their dishes is a little too hard but food, overall, has a good seasoning.
Definitely visit for their teas!
Great homemade granola - loved the early morning breakfast
Great tea. Great food. Great service.
Food was deliverer very late.
Great menu, great service!
I love Sanctuary T however I only gave it 4 stars since the prices seems to be going up and are on the high end for what you get.
Perfect! All good, great menu.
Perfect brunch vibe any day of the week! Great tea options and the fresh air is a nice touch.
Good food, tables very close together, pricey, need more help as long wait times to ask for anything additional after intial order is taken.
I highly recommend the Korean Fried Chicken and Fried Rice. It is a huge departure from your typical fried chicken and the fried rice was better than any I have had.
Great experience! Can’t wait to come back.
Selection of teas is very good. Food is okay, nothing special. When we were there they were doing some work to the lights and the service was a bit slow. Nothing majorly wrong, but there are better places for the price in the area.
Sanctuary T always feels like a good spot to dine in Soho for a casual meal, but always falls below expectation. The service is terribly slow, even on a quiet weekday afternoon, and both the food and drinks were just plain not good. I wouldn't recommend Sanctuary T for anything other than a cup of tea.
Nice staff and good food BUT they sat us at a table near the door. Every time someone came in or out, it was freezing. They apologized and literally brought us mugs of hot water to warm our hands. Another patron nearby angrily kept getting up to close the door. They need to fix this, otherwise, stay away.
Nice little spot for a lunch with friends. Great service!
Great atmosphere and the best service ever !
I have been coming to this reaturant for almost 3 years now and this place never disappoints. The food is always amazing and the cocktails are delicious. No complaints here. It has been a favorite of mine since I have moved to New York.
The waitress was so nice with us she was the real added value for the restaurant. Meal was good but had to wait a while to get it after the order (keep in mind that chicken and duck require 20/25 mins, I didn't take it but I could give that even a normal burger took that long).
Parmesan fries with the truffled mayo are wow!
5th time at this restaurant and it's consistently good. Great service, tasty cocktails, delicious food. Tell the barman what you like in a cocktail and he'll create something for you.
Just stopped by for a quick meal on my way home. The service was great. Courtney took the time to talk to each table and made me feel very welcome (not always my experience as s single diner)
Awesome table. Right out front -- half indoor and half outdoor. I wanted to love it, but at 7pm on a Sunday they were of a few items we wanted to order. Otherwise pretty good.
The place was plain, the Music was loud and obnoxious. The menu bore no relationship to the menu on their website, which was the reason I chose this restaurant out of the thousands in the city. The food was pretentious; we ordered 5 different things, and there's not one I would want to have again. I ordered a house cocktail, which was also pretty bad. My husband ordered martimis, and even these were mediocre.
I came here back in June 2017 with a good friend of mine.
Food overall was very good. My friend and I went pescatarian and vegetarian as our food order of small plates did not contain any meat.
The first dish we ordered was their Roasted Cauliflower (now $13) The food is served with roasted corn, cheese, chili flakes and lime which was to die for. Since this post is over a year too late, I don't see it as described on their menu. I was not sure if it was a special they had that day. But needless to say, this dish with these condiments has to be part of this menu.
We moved along with the green gnocchi (now $16) made with freshly made gnocchi covered with pesto, shrimp, Parmesan cheese and chili flakes. It was rich and it doesn't get any better with freshly made gnocchi.
We were still hungry and ordered a side of Parmesan truffle fries (now $16) which were addicting but the dish was too small for the price and it was $10 last year.
We were still hungry and ordered the garlic shrimp ($14) which consisted of garlic, parsley, chili flakes and olive oil. They were really good.
Overall service was good. Personally I would return to try their other dishes especially that their menu changed within the last year.
Food was delicious, drinks were equally fantastic. Our waitress was lovely, the bartender was friendly, and while we arrived pretty early, the place packed out quickly! My daughter said it was the best burger she's ever had...the macaroni and cheese was decadent, and my roasted chicken was perfect :) We would ABSOLUTELY eat here again :)
The food was good but the service was a bit slow for our lunch break. Not a good place to go when you're on a work schedule.
Food was great, but felt like they needed more staff. They only had one waitress managing the whole restaurant. We had to wait awhile for the food and our check to arrive.
The food & service were very good. The noise level loud.
The staff here is always super fun and attentive ! Their menu is diverse and I always enjoy the Brussels sprouts and cocktails. Love this place!!
AMAZING SERVICE AND FOOD
Amazing brunch! Loved the strawberry almond pancakes!
We have been to Sanctuary T quite a few times. The food, the staff, the drinks... always amazing The dishes are healthy, creative and so delicious. The cocktails are very unique and tasty. The staff is always so friendly and generous. I can't wait to go back. Thank you!
Great food, great service! Would definitely recommend Sanctuary T.
We visited here with a Groupon on Saturday night and we were beyond impressed with the food and the service. Amazing Brussel Sprouts and two words: Crab Pasta. I didnt love my drink but our waitress, Kourtney was out of this world, she was super friendly, helpful and made our experience extra enjoyable. I couldn't believe this place was on Groupon but I'm glad it was because next time I am going back for the shrimp and the mac and cheese!
Great neighbourhood spot! Love the food and the ambiance.
Great spot. Delicious cocktails and tasty food. A bit pricey but the portions were large. I will return for happy hour. Service was fair and I didn't like the fact that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill.
My wife and I are regulars at Sanctuary T which is in our neighborhood. I went there with my wife for Valentines Day. I had booked the reservation through OpenTable who did not give any indication that the restaurant was offering a Valentines Day menu only, which I discoveredonly when I got there for my reservation. I wasn't thrilled because typically I see those "deals" as a ripoff. But I was in a good mood, so I rolled with it. The menu was $52 pp, four courses. I was not disappointed. Every dish was delicious and the portions all the way through dessert were generous, especially for a price fix. The service was very polite and helpful, once you could get their attention. But they seemed short-staffed, or just too busy, and it protracted the length of the meal. We were fading so we ordered dessert to go and they were gracious and accommodating. Minor flaws can be overlooked by the cozy ambience and delicious food. Recommend.
