Restaurant is now closed
Unfortunately, we were informed that San Remo is closing this week. This is truly unfortunate, since they provided an excellent meal in a warm atmosphere. We are sad to see this restaurant go.
The food here has always been very good, as well as the special pricing on certain nights. I was sad to hear that this location was going to close soon. My wife and I will miss the food and service at this quality restaurant. I would just like to thank the staff for the exceptional service and food that we experienced over the last few years.
Excellent food and service will defiantly be be back
Great selection of Italian style foods. The antipasto plate was arranged so prettily. I loved the mushroom pizza, very tasty.
Amazing food and service as always, would highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant!
The food was not what we expected. There were shells in my pasta dish mixed in with the seafood.
Excellent food, poor service the night we were there.
Food was over cooked and took way too long to get it. Won't go back again
The service was terrible! Went for my son's birthday and was very unhappy with the slow service and the food was not that great for the price's they charge. The menu was changed from what was online, and the selections were limited for an Italian restaurant....
Love this place! Great food and amazing service. Definitely recommend for a date night or friendly get together.
The service was quite slow at the beginning but there was only one person working. She seemed to disappear, however, when we just wanted to get some sugar for the coffee. When the meal came and during, she was good. The food was very good - everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Monday's pasta night is great. Excellent value and delicious pasta dishes.
Recent menu change removed a number of great items and replaced them with mediocre items. Our server wasn't rude, pleasant enough however seemed annoyed by those she needed to serve.
Allotted 2 hours for our party of 9 to dine before an event. Also booked an early reso of 530 -the restaurant was empty when we arrived so we thought things were going to work out perfect. First we Had to hunt down our server to order our food after 30 minutes of sitting there after receiving drinks. Then Waited an hour and a half for appetizers. Watched as several tables that ordered after us received their food first. And the main course did not come. We had no choice but to cancel our food and head out, having not eaten after sitting in a restaurant for 2 hours. i had a similar experience there on birthday in May but still booked here again hoping it would be better. It was worse and I won't be returning. I don't like to publish bad reviews but several people in my party remembered the terrible experience we had in May and were surprised I went back there for another celebration. I was embarrassed that this happened again.
Three of us dined at San Remo restaurant on a $10 Pasta Night. We all had different pasta dishes (Hot Sicilian spaghetti, Penne with Chicken and Artichokes and Chicken Parmigiana) and the opinions were unanimously good. Two of us split the Caesar salad (again, very good) and the Beet and Goat Cheese salad (also good but I miss the arugula in their former Beet Salad).
Our Server, Natasha, was very friendly and efficient!
The only downside to Pasta Night was the noise level. We arrived early (5:00pm) and it was very quiet but the noise level from neighbouring diners (young children screaming and loud patrons) as time went on was almost to the point of making it impossible to have a conversation.
All in all, though, great value for money, good food and nice atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, prices are acceptable & food was great.
Food was mediocre as best. Cooks/chef clearly have no real knowledge of Italian food. No good options for vegans/vegetarians
First time eating at San Remo so only one dish to base my experience on but the flavor was great and the portion size more than adequate. I wouldn't recommend the gingerbread latte as none of the three of us who tried it could detect any ginger in it.
We tend to walk over and visit on $10 Pasta Night (Sundays and Mondays). The food is so good that we will visit more often, and run through more of the menu.
