We LOVED our late dinner at Cook Shoppe. Lobster gnocchi and pork belly were the stand outs, and thoroughly enjoyed in a beautifully ambient atmosphere. Service was incredibly, knowledgeable and friendly, some of the best I have had in this city. Can't WAIT to come back. More

American | SOMA, San Francisco

Food: every ingredient is thoughtfully constructed that melds together perfectly. Staff: well educated on the menu and very attentive to us as dinners. They took care of the little details that we all take for granted Space: loved the openness and how bright the space was. They kitchen provides the energy and you can hear the kitchen staff all in unison respond to the Chef Ambience: very romantic, and at the same time you can have a conversation without having to shout. Many restaurants these days don’t pay attention to this Overall: tremendous experience with phenomenal food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ More

We’ve been here several times! The food and wine pairing is always great, very unconventional , the chef is a risk taker! She is a star or she will be! Mason is good too. We love the personal touch they had before where they wrote the guest names w/ the menu... kinda cool. Everything was perfectly right but the 1.5hr for the whole experience, as always we felt we were rushed to eat. Yet , as always! Really good experience for my visitors! More

We were then greeted by our Sushi Chef, he was friendly and explained every item as they were presented to us. Everything was delicious and the staff was great! I wholeheartedly recommend visiting KUSAKABE for a special event or date night. Definitely will be coming back again when I get the chance! More

SERVING FINE BRAZILIAN FLAVORS IN SAN RAFAEL, CA

The owners Itamar Sampaio and William Silva, originally from Brazil, have been great friends and business partners for over 20 years, and share a passion for traditional Brazilian BBQ. While living in Marin county they came to the realization that no local place existed to get their taste of home, and so they decided to bring Marin is very first and much needed Brazilian steakhouse.

Once they found the perfect location in downtown San Rafael, their dream began to take shape. Relying on their strong commercial construction backgrounds, they started building out the new location and gave it the name Boiadeirus Brazilian Steakhouse. Boiadeirus is derived from the Brazilian-Portuguese term for ‘cowboys,’ the iconic beef ranchers who raise the cattle for traditional Brazilian BBQ. Itamar’s passion for cooking has positioned him well as head chef where he works relentlessly on perfecting our menu and recipes.

Discover San Francisco

Farm-to-table is everywhere now, but it was here first. Just north of San Francisco, the values-forward counties of Marin and Sonoma offer an abundance of sustainably sourced produce. Of course, there’s more to eat in the Bay than leafy greens alone—don’t miss the mainstays like Cioppino (a seafood stew best eaten with thick-cut garlic bread), Mission-style burritos, local oysters and Neapolitan pizza where pizzerias around town war for the ultimate version. The city has long been home to distinct international flavors, so for authentic dim sum, Chinatown tops the charts. The Mission is ablaze with longstanding taquerias, steakhouses and a new wave of artisanal bakeries and coffee houses. And the Fisherman’s Wharf, while touristy, is the spot for Bay caught seafood. From there, we recommend walking to Crissy Field for Golden Gate Bridge gazing and sparkling sunshine.
