About Samurai Buffalo
The Samurai Buffalo is a Sushi Bar and quintessentially Japanese eatery. Open seven days a week during lunch and dinner hours, the restaurant welcomes walk-in customers and also provides take away, delivery and catering services. It has a casual and relaxing environment and is also good for crowds. The Samurai Buffalo is also wheelchair accessible.
Of the authentic Japanese menu, the popular items include the Shumai which is a steamed shrimp dumpling, the Age Tofu, the Shrimp Tempura along with the Yaki Noodles. The restaurant is of course known for its Sushi rolls of which the California Roll is a particular crowd favorite.

Samurai Buffalo Ratings and Reviews
We went to Samurai to celebrate my husband's birthday. He loves sushi. Our dinner was fabulous. He ordered three different rolls and I ordered the teriyaki chicken (I do not care for sushi). It first I was worried that I would not be able to find anything to order, but have no fear for the non-sushi people - the restaurant has plenty to offer. My husband ended up cleaning his plate and I also had nothing leftover. The food portions are a good size - not too small, but not too large either. I always feel like I am wasting food when I go out to eat because most restaurants gorge you. I would recommend Samurai and we will definitely be returning.
If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would've! My fiance and I tried this place for the first time on Valentine's day. Two hours to get food that was sub par, horrible wait staff, confused and horribly unorganized. We will NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND this place. It was awful!
While I made my reservation online, they did not have it on their books when I got there. They honored it anyway and we were seated right away. From the moment we sat down it was a waiting game. I know it was a holiday but you would think they would have stepped up their game. The food was mediocre at best. After waiting an hour and forty five minutes for our food, it was almost not worth it. Definitely not worth the trip and the amount of money spent for the evening. Would go again for a quick lunch on the weekend, but never again for a special occasion.
They.didn't have any record of our reservation at hostess stand on our arrival. Told us we'd have to wait "about an hour". Offered to seat us in the "dining area", which was essentially a room for take-out and quick dining. We decided to go to an real restaurant instead.
I did wander into the "hibachi" area. It was hardly "elegant" either. I'm sure it's a fine place to stop for a quick bite on the way home from shopping, but it is hardly a high-end restaurant. Applebees is more "elegant"...
Regardless of the reservation snafu, we'd never go back.
