Great food! It was our anniversary and they made it special for us! Would go again for sure!

Food was fine. Service wasn’t great. Server was friendly but knew almost nothing about menu - couldn’t answer any questions or make any recommendations.

Our favorite sushi restaurant. Always a treat for whole family and always delicious. Absolutely recommend to any sushi fan. You will love it and you will become a regular. Enjoy. (But please bring back the squid appetizer. Family favorite)

Samurai Blue is always amazing! Fantastic atmosphere, exquisite sushi, and the Blue Crab Rangoon melts in your mouth! Highly recommend!

Food was very fresh & good, service was excellent. An enjoyable experience. Nice & quiet so conversation was easy.

We made a reservation for 7:45 for 4 : when we walked in at 7:40 their was a couple who walked in just in front of us (No Reservation) they sat them at a table with 4chairs. we were next told them we had a reservation, the said sorry we will have a table shortly please sit at the bar in the back. there was a 6 top that they held for over an hour for a reservation! we finally got to our table @8:23 so a 43 min wait for a table with reservations this was not a good experience.

The steamed dumplings are extremely good. Great place, great food.

It was fantastic. Me and my girlfriend went for dinner before we went to the Tampa improv directly downstairs. The seared ahi tuna appetizer was amazing, I had the sashimi plate that the chef prepares, I can’t say enough to describe how good it all was. The best sushi in Tampa hands down!

Not impressive. This is our usual date night spot and to our surprise the food was sub par compared to what we are accustomed. It was definitely disappointing, but won’t stop us from coming back again to be sure that isn’t the new quality of food.

My wife and I had a great experience. Our server Kyle was great, the sushi and cocktails were amazing. We really loved the ambiance and the cleanliness of the dining area and the bathrooms. We can’t wait to go back with friends.

table wasnt available for reservation, was very disorganized and a terrible date. can not order food at bar when was redirected there because table was not available.

As always, Samurai Blue is rock-solid, energetic, fast, and the best sushi in Tampa. We have gone there since it opened, and it always delivers!

This is a lovely place right over the Improv Comedy Club. They are behind construction barriers so it was hard to find and had only a few diners.
Good menu, great service, nice ambiance. The sushi was very tasty. My only issue was that I didn’t feel too well after eating and had a few gastric issues that lasted until the next morning. I normally don’t have that reaction to raw fish.

We actually went after telling our friends how good it is. Absolute favorite for the past six years or so.

The sushi makers have been there a long time, most excellent! Sad to see the movie theater leaving, was the perfect date night!

Food is really good and the price is reasonable. There is a comedy club on the first floor which has terrible food so we usually go here before or after a show. You do want to make reservations for anything near the lunch or dinner hour because it is pretty full especially if you want a booth. The standalone tables are pretty close together and the noise is much greater than in a booth. Overall it is a nice restaurant.

The service was phenomenal! The food was delicious and our waitress couldn’t have been better.

Our sushi was amazing. I did add a note on this reservation through open table that it was my husbands birthday and would like a dessert with happy birthday song and no one acknowledged it at all.

We LOVE this place and highly recommend it ! Get the summer of Love roll , you can’t go wrong ! My only complaint from our last visit was it was really hot in the restaurant ... maybe the AC went out that evening ? Other than that it’s our favorite sushi spot in Tampa By far !

Great restaurant, food is great too. The only thing is that this location has an odor that needs to be worked on. Their Westchase location does not smell bad.
