The food is fantastic along with the drinks and ambience. If you are looking for a place to take someone for a special occasion, this is it!

                                                                                                First time we have ever been there since we hear everyone rave about this place and will never be back. Our drink order was a miss since my husband ordered a coke and it was all seltzer only to be told they dont have anymore coke syrup to even switch out. When it came time to order our food we order, an appetizer and our meals, we were a little surprised we dont get salads with our meals considering the price. Even more shocked with how fast out meals came out since we are still waiting for our appetizer only to find out our waitress never put in our appetizer order. Then it came time to pay and that was a debacle when trying to use a giftcard we got. We could not get out of your establishment fast enough. It is way overpriced and would have higher expectations for an establishment like this. We went to a bar a few doors down for way better service, food and drinks, even the bartender at the place we went to after to get food because we were starving kept apologizing for our experience we had at Sambuca and they dont even work for you!

                                                                                                We had a reservation at 8:30. We were not seated until 9:15. The waiter did not take our order until 10:00 pm. We requested to place our order at 9:30 and they told us we were not allowed to place our order yet because the kitchen was backed up. Although the food was tremendous the service was awful. If it weren’t for the bartender who was kind enough to place our order for us we wouldn’t have been able to put our order in for at least another half hour.

                                                                                                Sambuca Grill was a great find perfect for a pre show dinner. Staff could not be friendlier, atmosphere very romantic with a wonderful piano player adding to the ambiance. Since it was Friday in Lent we stayed to non meat selections. I had the special mushroom ravioli in a delightful cream sauce, my spouse had butterflied shrimp in a cognac pink sauce with potatoes and green beans. Delicious carrot cake with coffee was a scrumptious ending to the meal. Can’t wait to get back to try the veal dishes! Great experience kudos to the chef and staff!

                                                                                                Great night with my husband. Piano player was entertaining and funny. For perspective we are in our early 30s and very much enjoyed all of it. Food was great. We weren’t entirely sure who our server was as we had several people at the table, which was a little confusing to know who to approach if we needed something. We will absolutely be back.

                                                                                                My wife and I had a bad experience here. We were hoping for a very romantic dinner on the weekend before Valentines Day. Unfortunately, Sambuca sat us next to a party of 12 celebrating a 21st birthday party. The party was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other, couldn’t hear the wait staff and the wait staff couldn’t hear us. It’s not a large dining room. We asked to be moved, but they didn’t want to reset a table for 4 that hadn’t arrived yet and move us there. Worth noting we were two people already sitting at a table for 5. Another couple next to us had a drink and left, as they couldn’t hear each other either. Piano guy showed up but nobody could hear him. The food was good but just a terrible experience.

This was our first time here as it was highly recommended. Service was splendid and food was fabulous. I will say it was some if the best veal I have had in quite a while.
