Food was very good. Service was fair. Waited over 10 minutes to get check. Waiter disappeared.
Was seated immediately, however, no one acknowledge us until we caught another servers attention. When she discovered we hadn't been served yet, Janet was gracious enough to take our order even though it wasn't her table. She was attentive and quick to get our drinks in prior to happy hour ending. All and all, it was a great experience, just that one little hick up. Good food!
Service was super. Our servdr hanxledd our group of 14 as thoufh it was one.
There were 4 of us and each order a different entree. The crab cakes were excellent. Very little filler and lots of crab meat. The flatbreads are always very good. The steak flatbread was filled steak, which was very tender. The haddock was very good. The burger was cooked rare and was delish. The bar does a superb job of making martinis with their own blue cheese stuffed olives. Although it was extremely busy the service was excellent.
This was my second time here and not as good as first. Fish was over cooked
and one person said filet lacked flavor.
Great food, great service. Went for Easter dinner. Nice menu with a good variety and some specials. Not too noisy. Able to carry on a conversation with no problems. Our waiter (Austin) was very efficient , making sure we had everything we wanted.
We came to see Sam Snead's golf memorable and have a good meal. We left pleased with both. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was friendly and I enjoyed walking around looking at all the memorable will waiting for the meal. The menu was excellent so we will come back and try something new.
We live in the neighborhood, and Sam Sneads is one of our go-to spots! Never disappointed!
We are pretty much “regulars”at Sam Snead’s. Food, service and ambiance is great. We recently met with friends from the east side of the state at Snead’s and they absolutely loved it! It is always at the top of the list for us! Keep up the great work...great food and excellent staff!
Excellent as always!
Enjoyed our dinner, Our server was great will ask for him again.
Service was terrible. 45 minutes to get a beverage. Rolls came after meal was served. Had to ask to get a server.
Food and service was excellent here are some of the comments from our table "best Cobb salad I've had in my life" "oh my God this coconut cream pie us to die for"
Great food...friendly atmosphere...opt for outdoor patio seating....
This is my go to place for a quick lunch to a great dinner. So convenient for anyone that lives in Lely. Good food, great variety on the menu, every server has always been very professional and friendly. Never met anyone who didn’t enjoy going to Sam Sneed’s!
Food was good. Good service.
We had not been to Sam Snead's for some time as it was closed for a period to remodel. First of all we saw no signs of whatever remodeling was done. Same place to us. Bar area was quite noisy with limited seating. Service to tables in the bar area was slow.
Worst of all was the food in the main dining room. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp platter. Shrimp were over cooked and dry. I had the spareribs which were also overcooked and dry. Service was good even though the busboy managed to drop a fork on my wife's arm causing a cut and bruising. The manager did comp our meals but we did not go there for that.
Good time was had by all
We Love golf so wanted to see Sam Snead’s Restaurant! Busy gathering place for lunch! fun to see Sam’s memorabilia’s but Food average
Met with friends for a great lunch. Niceview of the golf course, plenty of lunch items to choose from. Friendly service and moderate pricing, and were able to sit and converse within group of 5 people. Will definitely return an d also try dinner time.
Quite a nice restaurant. A bit noisy but the food (especially the filet mignon) is spectacular.
We’ve eaten at San Snead’s many times and had lovely lunches and enjoyable dinners. Last night, we took some friends who are visiting from Phoenix. The hostess was friendly, our table was ready, and the waiter was helpful. The signs of a pleasant dinner where present. Unfortunately, the staff was not a predictor of tonight’s dinner. Two of us ordered grouper and both pierces of fish were overcooked to the degree that our Phoenix friends commented on the grouper’s appearance. Our waiter checked on our table early in the meal and noted, “You haven’t had a chance to take a bite. I’ll be back.” He never returned and as we watched him rush about, we commented to one another that he was too busy to tend to our table. We ate less than half of our grouper and when he finally came to our table, we told him the grouper was dry. He apologized and presented bill. Disappointed. We’ve had grouper there before but likely not again.
While the food was very good, our server, Aldo was awesome. Made us laugh, was polite and on the spot with more bread, cocktail refills and getting us served. He's worth the trip back!
ALWAYS love their flatbread pizza - best I have had anywhere.
Can't beat Happy hour drinks. Need reservations in season.
Loud, had reservations but were unable to be seated on time. Waiter was fabulous. Hostess station disorganized. Food was average pub fare but what we expected.
Fun spot. Great happy hour and service. Fiood excellent
Nice place and great meals
Not much atmosphere
We love the crab cake and slaw and fries for lunch! The best in town. Pure crab, we are from Md and know great crabmeat! ❤️
First time at San Snead’s and will returning our next time in area on a more frequent basis.
Great selections on menu.
Great outdoor dining with family.
Valentines dinner with friends and family. Wait staff person very attentive. Good space for 8 but hard to hear across table as bar area right behind us. Generally like the food. I would advise getting the Serling cut medium not medium well. Still well cooked but not overdone. One person in party had a chicken dish that arrived cold and another had a fish dish they didn’t like. I think anyone who ordered beef or pork was satisfied.
Great service. Good food. A little pricey. Will go back.
As I live in Greenlinks right next door it is so very convenient. It's food and bar is reasonably priced and completes the resort feeling of living where I do.
We took friends to Sam Sneads because we knew it was casual, offered a diverse menu and good food reasonably priced. No one was disappointed. Happy hour is a good deal - 50% off drinks until 7 pm. A personal favorite is the burger - half-pounder, medium rare with fries. Very nicely prepared as ordered. Others had the special halibut platter, which received rave reviews, and the salad with salmon, also a favorite of one of our crowd. Overall, we had a really good time. The really nice thing about Sam Sneads - you can count on what you order to be very consistent with what it may have been the last time you ordered that item.
Great service good food
First time dining there. Food was excellent! HH wine selection not good.
My husband and I ordered the same thing - steak cooked medium. Mine was fine but his was bloody and it had to be sent back - which meant that it didn't taste as good as it should have. Also, this was a birthday celebration. A group at another table got a dessert with a candle in it and we didn't get any recognition of my birthday even though I mentioned it when I made the reservation. I don't know if that was because we didn't order a dessert or if they just forgot or if they were not made aware of it by the reservation process.
We weren't charged for my husband's glass of wine because of the disappointing steak dinner. So that was a nice gesture.
This was not the first time we have had dinner at Sam Snead's. But it was the first time that we had a disappointing experience.
Typical bar food menu. Just average
Our granddaughter was visiting and we decided to have lunch. The three of us come away saying WOW!! Best lunch that we have had around the area. So good we had dessert and took home two other ones.
