What can one say about wine weds. the haft price wine list is a homer run if you know what your looking for. The food was very good too. I had questions about some reviews I read about food going downhill, this was not the case. Yes, I will go back and it will be on a wed. Marco took care of us for all our needs and johnny on the spot, good man. He has been there for a while and knows his stuff. Any questions just ask him truthful answers of what coming out of the kitchen good or not so good.
New chef??? Frist time calamari was over cooked, rubbery & seasoned. My wife had to go get the receptionist, after sitting at our Table for 25 min, no waiter. Steak was a over cooked & gnocchi over cook. New waiter was fair. Frist time calamari has been over cooked. Bread was on the hard side. What's happened to Salvatore's ? For $200, 4 people, you would think food & service would be better.
Salvatore's is always a wonderful place to dine, evening of relaxation, visit with friends. We have celebrated many special birthdays and anniversaries at this location, with family, relatives and friends. This occasion was anniversaries and Birthdays. Employee & waiter staff excellent.
Was served a Caesars Salad with wilted lettuce and a very small portion for $9.50. Was surprised to see place half empty because it use to be a great place to eat, but after experiencing the very indifferent service by the waiter, it shouldn't have been surprising. This is a restaurant that locals go to. Their killing themselves and the lack of diners shows.
This trip here was not up to the level of other nights. The food was a tad over cooked. My breaded veal chop was a bit burnt on the bottom you could taste it.
The Wed. Night half off wine list is a good value. Will see the next time we go if it was just a poor night in the kitchen,but we will go back
Always a standout dinner! This evening, from the warm welcome from hostess Tabatha to the attentive service of server Joy to the awesome lasagna, was no different. A great Italian find. Talented Phil Baker on the piano adds a special "Old Las Vegas" flair to the entire dining experience...
I am a regular! Love the food, the staff and the music. I go on date night, girlfriend night and special occasions. I am Italian and very picky about my gravy and garlic level. Do not like a bunch of garlic to hide the true taste of my food. Chef Chaz does an amazing job with all his entrees. Highly recommend one of my favorite spots!
Food was very tasty and served hot. The drinks were good but were not offered any particular brand. Dinner was paced well, not rushed. Hubby's soup got slopped all over the place and it should not have been served like that. The waiter should have taken it back or wiped the mess off the soup rim. We love the music and quiet relaxing atmosphere, would go there again for sure. It is a little dark in there, we saw other patrons using flashlights to read the menu.
Waiter was very poor. Seemed new, overwhelmed, could only be told one thing at a time. Wine ran out half way through, was never offered a second bottle. Never had enough menus.
Love the restaurant, food is amazing, unfortunate that the waiter spoiled the experience.
What a lovely experience. All food is made fresh with ingredients carefully ordered from Italian purveyors and skillfully assembled by chef Chaz. The dinner entertainment is great and an after dinner cocktail at the piano bar is a must. I only wish I lived closer, I would be there on a regular basis. One of the original Baker Brothers is playing every night.
Food was ok at best . The only thing going for the place is the employees/ service . Owner was present at time , drinking wine at the piano station . Our buser talked to us for a few seconds only to be rudely yanked by the owner . No apology or anything from the owner . Shame on you !!! . Boyd will hear about this thru other channels . If you want good Italian food , go to Pasta Mia , Tuscany Grill . Food is great and no rudeness from owners .
