Salvatore's Ristorante Italiano
End of Friday evening, music/singer, very good special of the day, and attentive service. Great way to finish an evening at the movies.
This amazing place has excellent food with a classic Las Vegas culture.
We loved the menu , the decor and the timeless music of the 50s , 60s and beyond. Guitarist is as wonderful as the pianist.
The option of sitting around the piano to have dessert (totally get the spumoni ) or a drink is genius!
Love to eat at Salvatore's we were a party of 6 celebrating our daughters birthday. Our server Joy was a delight and very attentive to our needs. The food was as always outstanding and plentiful. This was not our first time and will not be our last. My only down side was the noise level as the restaurant filled up with patrons it got hard to hear the piano player.
Everything was perfect. Thank you
We ate at Salvatore's at the Sun Coast Hotel and Casino this last weekend. We have eaten there many times but this was the first time the two of us sat in one of the booths. A new view of the restaurant from the booth, beautiful! We ordered a Baked Cheese Torta to share as our anti pasta, delicious!. The wife had Spaghetti with Meatballs (comes with salad) and I had the Chicken alla Parmigiana - both plates were up to Chef Chas. high standards. The ambiance and music from the piano contributed to a wonderful holiday experience.
Two of our party had never been to Salvatore's before & 1 had been there once & wanted to try it again. We were very favorably impressed. Their bread service is very good & the appetizers we tried were also very good - the mixed bean dish & the tomato-mozzarella salad. We tried the steamed clam-mussel appetizer as our "entres" & thought the sauce was outstanding. The mussels were on the large side so rather tough - but the clams were small & perfect. Their wine & beer offerings are reasonable priced. We were surprised that an "in-casino" restaurant closed at 9pm - we were the last people to leave a little after 9 & the servers were also leaving by then.
I had the Veal Scallopini alla Marsala. It was excellent! My only negative comment is that service was rather slow and it took forever to receive the bill for payment.
BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND JOY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND STAFF. GREAT EXPERIENCE ! LOVE IT
Always enjoy visiting Salvatore's. Service is good, food is always good, close to home, pricing is very reasonable.
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey tasted bland and the mash potatoes had a bad taste. Will not go to this restaurant for special dinners. Have had Italian food there and it was good.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. Their appetizers are some of the best in town. They have a great selection of food available, and their prices are great.
Salvatore’s is one of our most favorite restaurants here in town. We love the location, the Decour the food the staff and of course the chef. Always an amazing time
We were celebrating our anniversary. There was not enough staff to accommodate the crowded restaurant. For the price, the service was not all acceptable. High corkage fee, lack of attention to our table, slow service. We had a good experience there in the past, but this will probably be our last visit.
Great food. Great service. Always love it. It's nice and quiet, love it, good atmosphere.
Usually I give Salvatore’s a 5. But the bread was old and hard and the side salad too plain lettuce and one small slice of tomato.
Great food and service. One of the few restaurants in town with live music nightly!
This was our third visit to Salvatores. The first was great, but the second was not good. We decided to give it one more chance and went again on a Sunday evening. The service was excellent , but our meals left a lot to be desired. My lasagna was very soft and relatively tasteless (think hospital food). My wife had a chicken dish and did not care for it at all. I tried her pasta side and the sauce had no flavor. As an Italian, I have scratched this restaurant off my list.
This is the best place in town for a great meal. Everything is always excellent.
Always a nice evening at this nostalgia vegas restaurant
This restaurant is easily accessed through the side of the hotel where the casino is located. The entertainment was very nice. Food was delicious! Our waiter disappeared for a bit and ordering of a second round of drinks was delayed. Not too happy about that as I like to have my wine with my dinner.
Absolutely love the south tours. There’s no Parmesan is the best ever. The staff is amazing. Lovely Decour our favorite place to go.
Sole tasted like it was deep fried instead of pan seared. Lots of breading and soaked in oil. We were regulars but not any longer.
Very nice but also relaxing. Service was good and the music made for a fun Environment. We would definitely dine there again.
It was not a good dinning experience. Food and service was average at best.
The most disappointing was when we where told that we could not use the $10.00 dinning credit. It should have been disclosed on the voucher.
Clearly the best classic Italian cuisine restaurant in Las Vegas.
Excellent restaurant just one small issue. The chef used a ton of salt. The lobster bisque was good until about the 6 spoonful and then the salt hit you. Same with lamb chops. But overall I would go again. Joy our server very nice, prompt and professional.
Salvatores has become one of our go to restaurants when visiting Vegas...out of this years 4 visits we have eaten there 3 times (and we do not stay at Boyd properties). It can be depended on for excellent Italian dishes with impeccable service is a very quiet environment (of course we usually come on a Sunday and tend to eat early). It is certainly one of the better Italian restaurants in Vegas and worth the trip to the hotel.
It’s really hard to talk about the quality of food and the overall ambience of the restaurant when the first encounter with your waiter ensures you that he’s a total jerk. This was only confirmed as we went through our meal. We were rushed from the start asking us to order even before drink orders. Had to ask bus boy to find him 2X.. then there is the food. At best mediocre. No one cleaned their plates. The highlight of coarse is Phil Baker and the live music. Next time we will have a drink at the bar enjoying Phil, then eat elsewhere
Food was good, not great. Pretty typical for a casino restaurant.
The only reason service didnt get five stars is that the waiter made a mistake with my dinner. I could of said something and sent it back but I didnt want to wait any longer for food, other than that it was a very enjoyable evening for myself and my family.
Pleasant experience as usual. Always make it a point to dine here.
Having eaten in many Italian restaurants Salvatore's okay for the price.
We are locals who have eaten at Salvatore's before and have been generally satisfied. On this occasion our waiter dumped our food on the table no rushed off, no enquirer about requiring anything. He was attentive when it came to tipping time. Saw plenty of him then. We ordered the sole Parmesan which was dry and tasteless. All in all, what should have been a special night was ruined
We absolutely adore coming to the restaurant. The food atmosphere service, all amazing. One of the best places in town.
Our experience left us checking the calendar to see when we can return. Joy was our server and on top of everything for the whole meal. Wine and appetizers were tasty and all 10 dinners were excellent. A superb birthday evening. Thank you.
Amazing food! Amazing restaurant. I highly recommend.
So goooood, got the ribeye and calamari steaks with shrimp, so delicious, will be back
was a family get together - to honor our parents in we which had brought them both here for years
They Loved Salvatore's as do we - the food and service has always been great - will keep coming for years to come - Thank you
Salvatores always has great service and serves a large selection of Italian cuisine items. A great place to have a quiet dinner (even when the piano bar is playing in the backround).
