Dinner outing with a large (16) group and the staff was very accommodating even with multiple changes to the reservation. Service was excellent even with a large group and it the food and drink options were varied enough to make everyone in our group happy. Great experience!

I went on a Groupon and was treated as if I did not have one and the bartender Nicole was very sweet and engaging. The staff was friendly and nice and the food was fabulous.
Thank you

Amazing service, highly recommend the chicken parmesan! Loved the separated atmospheres for dinner, bar and take out. We were looking for a quiet dinner and was able to check scores of the game on the way out, worked perfect!

Great night with a great dinner! We used a groupon which made the evening a bargain. We sat at the bar for dinner and the bartender Steve was awesome! He was personable, quick, and down to earth.

We had an enjoyable evening, the food and service was excellent and desert hit the spot.
Our group enjoyed chicken parm and chicken marsala; the chicken was tender and tasty and we decided on pasta with the meal that was served with a nice tomato sauce.
For desert we had chocolate cake and cannoli's which were great.
The wine list is limited but had good choices in red and white.

Had a groupon. The restaurant was empty except for one other couple at 6pm on a Saturday night. We thought that was strange for a Saturday night. The food was just okay, not as good as we had hoped. Would not go back.

I reserved a table here for a group that didn't want to schlep to the North End. It was a reservation of convenience, but Salvatore's turned out some rock solid Italian food.

The eggplant parm was overcooked and dry (a stack of about 20 crepe-like slices of breaded eggplant without any cheede between the slices) swimming in sauce that was without flavor

Food was excellent. Our first waitress was awesome--personable and down to earth. We suddenly got a replacement waitress who never introduced herself or explained the reason for the switch. She was abrupt and miserable. Never once smiled and seemed like she hated her job. The service she provided was fine but we're low maintenance patrons so we didn't expect much. We would come back (hoping to get a different/more pleasant server) but would hope that the mice that were wandering around the outside patio would be eradicated before our next visit. They claimed it was due to construction but it certainly killed the ambiance of beautiful outdoor dining to see mice roaming around under our tables.

Generous portions, good service, convenient location. The food was pretty good and the prices are reasonable. It is a bit loud on a Saturday night and the AC in the building was not working well.

Our table was ready when we arrived and we were seated at a high top, next to the floor to ceiling windows. The view was overlooking the Main Street and you could see the ocean in one area. The windows. Were closed for most of the time that we were there and it was a bit warm inside. Fortunately, a staff member opened the windows and the breeze was lovely! Our waitress was excellent -very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious-large portions and reasonable prices. We had a lot of leftovers and the waitress was very accommodating to my request to refrigerate them for us. We were attending a concert across the street and didn't want them to spoil. Sure enough, I stopped by after the show and she had it ready for us. Looking forward to the leftovers and will definitely go back to Salvatore's!

We went to Salvatore's prior to the Diana Ross concert. Despite allowing an hour for the 7 mile drive from Medford, we were late for our reservation. We called to let the host know and he was unbelievably gracious. Our reservation was held for us and we were promptly seated upon arrival and assured that others were in the same situation with traffic that evening. Our server Ashley was outstanding. She was attentive, thorough, and pleasant. The food was delicious and servings were well sized. All in all, a top notch experience!

Salvatore's was great the other night. We had reservations for 6 at 5:45 - trying to have a nice meal before a show at the pavilion. Unfortunately we could not all get there on time but they were fantastic about letting those that arrived on time to sit at the table and wait for the rest of us - as much as 30 minutes late. Never any pressure to order or rush through the meal once we all arrived and order. The food was fantastic -everyone enjoyed various salads and flatbreads as well as apps of calamari and mussels. All great!

Holding the door for an exiting customer, I asked how it was and they said the food was good but the service was slow - it was exactly our thoughts when we left. Staff was nice, but it was a good thing that we were not too pressed for time ! Their flatbreads were better than their pizzas. The "drink for 2" (Blue Lagoon) was "ok" - but was missing one of its ingredients (Swedish Fish - they "ran out" apparently) and at $25, was definitely over-priced. We would go back again.

It was a nice experience, but my salmon was over cooked and dry. I would not pay $25 dollars for this again, especially with so many good seafood places nearby.

We went to Salvatores before a concert at Blue Hills bank Pavillion. We were able to get a reservation the day of the show which was great. It was busy at 6pm on a Monday night. We were seated promptly and our server V was there quickly to take our drink order. Service after that was still good by our waitress but the kitchen got back up so our dinner took longer to come out than we would have liked since we had a show to get to. When the food arrived it was very good (I got the turkey tip salad which was delicious). Our bill was more than reasonable as we also had a Groupon! Would try it again.

My first choice would've been a place on the water, but couldn't get a reservation - Sals fit the bill as an overflow place. Food and drink were good, though nothing memorable. Our server was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. My biggest gripe is that the restaurant was really warm. It was a warm evening, but this is in a new building - climate control should've been better. Men's room was like a sauna. I would recommend Sal's as a very good second tier place, as compared with the other restaurants it is competing against in the area. Some of its competition is very expensive - if you're not up for those prices, Sals is a good option.

This was our first time into this restaurant. We had a very good experience. The drinks were great. Our entrees (seafood risotto & Bolognese) were ample and tasty. The Red Velvet cake was delicious ending to a great meal. The waitress was pleasant and friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Next time we come we will choose the outside seating.

Although a member of party could have been assumed to gruff to the staff, the fact remains that the waitresses .Kevyna.. Deemed overwhelmed. Too many customers for the staff. They missed my birthday requests and splitting the bill. Had to remind several times. LovevSalvatores in theater district. Would not go to seaport location again.

This is a pizza place pub at best. The online menu is not accurate and is out of date. When I mentioned this to our server she hardly seemed to care and said it "just changed". This used to have charm and be reasonable. It really is just a pizza pub with ok service.

We had a great time at Salvatore's. The weather was perfect for sitting outside and taking in the sights. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We all enjoyed our drinks, apps, and entrees, and will definitely be back. The calamari app was outstanding, as was our flatbreads and pizzas. Location is perfect.
