Flavorful food and drinks with great service and atmosphere, but definitely a little overpriced. $16 for four slices of bruschetta, $7.50 for truffle fries, and a $12.50 old fashioned. Great happy hour and brunch specials though.
Great food and services
Great service, interesting menu. They did a nice job of servicing my group of 5 with some special requests. Not too impressed with the wine list, but I didn't go there for the wine. Location was good for Celebrity Theatre concert. Would definitely recommend and go again!
It just wasn't as good as in previous times I have visited.
Pretty good American fare bar food, panini, pasta, bruchetata, and salads. Roast your own smores. A little bit on the expensive side though. Just 2 Entrees and fries came out to be $45.
Usually the food is good, but the salmon I ordered was undercooked. Also, only orzo was served with it. Requested some veggies, but none to be had. For $23.00 I was very disappointed. Best deal is Happy Hour and getting just the appetizers and a bottle of wine for half off. Their appetizer menu is very good. When it is nice the patio is great and dog friendly.
We are old folks so kind of loud...but we were able to sit outdoors and were able to talk. We plan to return.
We went to Salut for brunch prior to attending a football game. The place only had a few customers which didn’t explain the somewhat slow service. We sat on the nice patio which is dog friendly. If I was to rate Salut on the taste of their food alone they would be 5 stars on this visit. One friend had the Breakfast Burger which he proclaimed “the best burger I have ever had, no need to add ketchup”. The other two of us had the Biscuits & Gravy. The chorizo gravy packed a ton of flavor and heat. But it was plated on a warped wood board. It was odd and while I am sure it was fine I felt it seemed unsanitary. I will continue to include Salut on my weekend brunch recommendations as the food, location and patio are very good.
Carson was our waiter who was very attentive and not intrusive which is always nice . The food was average and nothing special especially when I ordered a quinoa bowl which was lot of quinoa and not enough of what it was suppose to be i it like no avocado and small amount of feta cheese and spinach . I asked for slice of bread with my salad and got charged for it ?! We are from east coast and even at average or even fancy restaurant we always get a nice basket of bread . Even the chicken kabob had only 2 small piece of pita and the kabob was burned
The manager was nice to come by and offer avocado when I was done with my salad and then offered to take few dollars off !
The food was very good and the portion size was enough food. Good value for what we ordered. The service was a slow but we enjoyed the long dinner. Try the bruschetta!
Very fun dinner before a show at Mesa Arts Center (only about 15 minutes away). The hummus nachos should not be missed - tasty and creative. The entrees we had were good and sitting on the patio on one of the first cooler evenings was a great atmosphere.
Very nice patio with misters. They tout they have a good wine supply, maybe by the bottle, but not by the glass. The price was a bit high, I believe about $9. This was chardonnay.
We went in for the Restaurant week meal. $44 each. The menu was not good. Totally overpriced for the portions that we got. And nothing was that great. Bread pudding was DRY...
Seafood pasta had only traces of seafood. Not sauce, it was like buttered noodles. Bummer on that menu. We did restaurant week every day last week and by far this was the least favorite.
The ambiance is the best thing about this restaurant. I had the butternut squash ravioli. While it was good, I was underwhelmed compared to other $20 pasta plates I have had (the pasta is typically homemade and ingredients fresh at that price level) and my husband felt the Diablo burger was a regular bar burger with some chili’s. Probably worst of all was the friendly but slow service. Our waiter would check on his tables then disappear from the dining room for 20 minutes. The service and food does not justify their price point.
My grilled cheese with bacon sandwich was delicious, however, my table mate's dinner was delivered and not right. His food arrived after the rest of us were done eating. His meal was comped. Our server seemed very uninterested in getting our meals right.
We had a great first experience at Salut. The food was delicious and the wine special was even better (half priced bottles on Sunday!). Try the butternut squash ravioli, it was to die for!
Kinda pricey though . Appetizers are delicious and salmon was good but very small amount of meal .
Went to Salut after reading the favorable reviews and we absolutely agree! Really liked the food menu and being there for happy hour and 50% off entire wine list was just an added bonus. Our server was very friendly and helped us out on our menu choices.
I’d go back! That is my acid test. I had one of the burgers.
Such a fun birthday experience. They accommodated a large group of people and was a fun atmosphere.
We went for my friend's birthday. Overall, the experience was good. The drinks were very tasty and my burger was great. However, some of the other items were just ok and the truffle fries barely had any truffle oil on them. The Salut fries were very good. The service was decent but not great. They weren't busy and there were a few times we ran out of water, etc. I would probably go back but my friends said they weren't sure.
The food was so delicious. We got there during happy hour which is great 50% off wine bottles, got an appetizer which we got for free for signing up on their website. It was the hummus nachos and the flavors were amazing! The combination of the hummus, balsamic vinegar and vinegar was just great! I ordered the strawberry salad with chicken, my friend who is vegan ordered the hummus platter ( he felt the portions were a bit small but it was an appetizer), my girlfriend ordered a pesto pasta which was spectacular!
Highly recommend you guys check this place out!
We also got dessert (pazookie)
Great Happy Hour with half price bottles of wine and a nice selection. Bruschetta was very good. The bacon bits tastes like it is out of a can and there is too much of it. Service was ok. Nice bar area. Lots of potential.
This spot is super cute and so enjoyable. Super sexy and such a great place to come on a date. It is a little pricey but not an all the time thing once in a while cause of price. We had mango mule and it was perfect.
We love Salut! Every time we go the food is better than the last time! Kudos to a fabulous chef and staff!
Great dog friendly patio with friendly relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the creative menu especially the Hummus Nachos and Malbec Burger
Great meal, fantastic ambiance, service was a little iffy.
This place is always solid. Good burgers, decent wine selection and good beers. The service is friendly and our dogs love their patio.
The staff was respectful and very helpful
Great food and nice patio area!
Food has a great presentation! Awesome happy hour!
Food was average, service was terrible. I will not return.
We made a reservation and the restaurant was ready for us even when we arrived 10 minutes early. We were seated at a table that was squished between other tables. My husband was touching the person behind him the entire time. There was no lighting by our table so it was dark. The server forgot to bring our drinks and served our appetizer and entree at the same time. There was not enough room on the small table for that food. The food was good, but I expected something great for the price. Overall you get a better value at Olive Garden and almost as good food.
Great time! Enjoyed the staff recommendations and can’t wait to go back. I the special Manhattan that the barrel age!
Service was not the greatest. We had to flag down our server multiple times to get her to come back to our table.
Kona is an amazing waiter! He is very knowledgeable about celiac disease and what changes can be made to the menu. He was super nice and engaged in fun conversation. We will definitely put this restaurant on our date night rotation!
I celebrated my 21st birthday here with some friends and what I really appreciated the knowledge of the bartender and his concerns for my tastes. He was aware that it was my birthday and recommended excellent drinks for me and informed me of the drinks I might not like. I sat at the bar during happy hour and then transitioned to my reserved table; my server was very nice! They made my birthday special and offered me either a free dessert or a free birthday shot. I ordered a hummus platter which was excellent, and I got a bruschetta board which filled me up and was very good!
Bruschettas are tasty, bread could be thicker. Mac & cheese bites are skippable. Well crafted cocktails. Personable and professional server.
Lots of outdoor seating. Good wine specials. Foodies will enjoy
Not the best. Website sold a completely different atmosphere
Great food, and large portions.
