Wonderful experience. Interesting menu and excellent food.
Always fantastic and delicious . Best Italian on the UWS and best service!!
This is a fabulous busy Upper West Side gem serving very authentic Italian dishes and a daily changing menu. There are a lot of cured meats and cheeses for appetizers and sharing and a take away counter.
Staff welcoming and energetic, handled the busyness well. Food delish! And don’t pass up the Midnight Tiramisu!
Love the food here!!!
Love this place. Excellent food and value. One of my faves
Too crowded during. COVID. Service lagged.
My favorite restaurant on the upper west side
The special pasta with salmon was somewhat bland, although the pasta itself was excellent. The single best dish is probably the caponata - intense, not at all slimy.
The food here was fantastic with great portion choices. The soup was delicious. The only complaint would be that the service was a little slow but overall a great experience
Loved the food and have good wine selection. Service wasn't that great. A bit forgetful.
Always a pleasure!!!!
Excellent as always. Great service, fine food, powerful booze
Fantastic. Felt like i was in Milan. Enjoyed it so much we made a reservation to celebrate a big birthday and my retirement that same day.
First time dining at Salumeria since the pandemic began, ate outside, and though it was CRAZY windy, was still an amazing Salumeria experience. Absolutely love this place...get the Salumeria salad, it's maybe the best warm salad in NYC. Had the gnocchi as well, which was excellent, all paired with a bottle of Barrera...great food, people, and service. Highly, highly recommend.
Excellent service and recommendations on both food and wine.
Amazing food and service! The service and all recommendations were on point, and the food is simply delicious.
Cozy and yummy
Always love the food here. It’s always so flavorful and delicious.
Pasta was excellent. We tried the sausage and greens on pasta and the gnocchi dish. We also had a salad and a couple of the cured meats to start. The bread is fantastic too. Our server Chris was very nice, but seemed to be the only one around so at times we had to wait a bit to get him back to the table. We chose to sit inside and felt very comfortable with the separations between tables and the air purifier nearby.
Great food friendly staff. I would eat here again
The meal was great the waitress great the pasta not done enough even though I like al dente. No real complaints at all!
Great spot with friendly service and great homestyle cuisine. Loved it
We went but the restaurant was not open. We got no warning.
Excellent food and service. Clear plexiglass dividers enhance safe distancing while not detracting from the warm ambiance.
Salami was great.
We could have a nice calm dinner time.
The bill was little bit higher than expected.
A bit over priced for what it was; the chicken soup was out of this world, everything else was just..... eh- do not recommend the lasagna, and you may want to explain you’d prefer not to have your pasta al dente. My tagliatelle was so gummy I could barely twirl it. Service was beautiful, atmosphere is fantastic.
This neighborhood gem has the best lasagne!
Maybe the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. Service was top notch too. Thank you.
We sat outside on a very cold day but the red wine kept us warm. The food was amazing, the service was on point. I would definitely go back and preferably after Covid-19 is behind us and can sit inside or outside in warmer temps.
I totally recommend the Roasted Red Peppers w/White Anchovies, the Pancia (Pork Belly) and Proscuitto Puffs.
They had no outside seating and didn’t bother to call. Also they didn’t even greet us when we entered their restaurant until we were about to leave.
My husband and I have come here twice - both times for a late afternoon lunch after a stroll in the park. They have tables set up outside for Covid dining. I love their focaccia bread with olive oil and our very nice server brought us plenty which I enjoyed with two glasses of white wine. I had the ricotta appetizer with pears and honey which was very nice and the small portion of Lasagna which was just what I felt like. On another visit we simply shared some plates of meats and cheeses. I enjoy eating here and hope to come often.
Great food and service. We dined indoors. Plexiglass dividers. Felt very safe. Thank you for staying open.
Favorite Restaurant in New York City! The best in every way.
I have dreamt about the pork sandwich.
Start to finish the food and drinks were exceptional. Tasty fresh bread and superb meat and cheese boards. The Lasagna is amazing. Great selection of wines and quality espresso. Leave room for dessert. Excellent and attentive service. Partitions between tables and safety measures observed at all times.
The food is always great. The outside dining left a little to be desired but under the present conditions understood.
Love Salumeri Rossi. Always provides an intimate and authentic experience. In the time of covid, they have a beautiful outdoor section. They also have the nicest dividers/plexiglass I’ve seen a restaurant use so far. So glad they have been able to stick around during this rough time.
It's so sad that in NYC due to the virus we were sitting outside FREEZING!!! There wasn't any heat lamps or covering
