Salumeria Rosi was a wonderful experience! The restaurant is elegant and intimate, and the service was excellent. i commented to the maitre’d that it was our first visit and we loved it, and it was obvious they run the restaurant beautifully. The food was delicious and hot! And the wine list is excellent.

We enjoyed our meals very much. Service was great. Tables were positioned a bit too close together, in my opinion, in this post-covid era. But our table for 2 was ready upon our arrival. Waiter was attentive. Prices for NYC were fantastic. Loved that we were able to find such a reasonably-priced place to dine so close to Beacon Theater. Booked way in advance. Would definitely dine here again.

Absolutely extraordinary food. Chefs charcuterie for two was delicious. Had me saying I could eat that for every meal. We ordered three “small” pastas to share between two people. To be clear that was too much food and one small pasta is a perfectly reasonable dinner portion. We wanted to sample which is why we got three. The pesto, the carbonara, and the sausage and broccolini orecchiette. All were amazing. The chocolate mousse for dessert was fluffy and rich. The cheesecake was meh, don’t bother. Service was fantastic.

The food and service are always superb. We have dined here for over ten years. The brunch menu is very special...eggs done Italian style. The outdoor seating is comfortable and the service is excellent.

This was the best meal we had while visiting NYC. Had the special and husband had the steak, both were delicious. Wine recommendation was excellent as well. We were surprised to end up with an outside table on a cool evening but it ended up being very pleasant.

The food was delicious, especially the house special rigatoni with the incredible meat sauce…. The service was a little disorganized, as we had to wait a very long time for one of our main courses when everyone else had been served. Overall, a very delicious meal and would certainly recommend for a visit!!

Sitting outside w blaring sirens and car noise is NOT conducive to enjoying an outdoor experience (inside is stuffy w very limited seating); but at least the food was palatable and cooked well. The serving staff are excellent to outstanding...thank you! Be ready to $$$$pend. Their signature Lasagna is tasty, with too many layers of pasta and not enough meat/cheese layers, and chicken cutlet was thin, dry, and panko flake crusted. The $30 charcuterie board was almost meh and way overpriced. Did not read or feel as authentic Italian despite name. If you have disposable income go for it, you won't be disappointed.

It was our first time eating at Salumeria Rosi. We had researched it online and were very exited about the experience to come. Easy to find in Manhattan l, we were lucky to find a park right in front of the restaurant on Amsterdam Ave. The place is small but the service and the quality of the food are great and very authentic to famous Italian cuisine. We have chosen it to be our lunch spot when visiting our son studying at Columbia in NYC.
