Very good service
A small place with excellent food and pleasing ambiance! I would not like to see it over-discovered.
This place was unbelievable!!! Loved every aspect of it and the server was exceptional!!! Food was amazing!!!
The service altering a reservation and walking into the restaurant was fantastic, however, the service once seated was not. We were rushed and our dietary restrictions were not respected so I had to send my dish back a twice so that I was able to eat it.
An excellent restaurant. Our reservation was promptly honored though the place was full and we had called only an hour before. The service was knowledgeable and professional. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and presented. Not cheap but prices are fair. Nice wine list.
Any occasion is a pleasure here. Great food. Great service. If you’re in the neighborhood, go.
Great place; a bit crowded, but otherwise amazing.
Not good for kids.
I love this place! I live a block away so I’ve been to Salumeria Rosi about 5 times, and always have had a great experience. The service is fantastic and attentive, the atmosphere is cozy and sleek, the pasta is amazing. The one thing I will say is the food is very pricey when you account for the portions for some items on the menu- most of the appetizers are tiny portions for $16-17. Additionally, the entree size of the pasta in my experience is not significantly larger than the appetizer portion, yet is significantly more expensive ($28 vs $16). Also, be aware that the food comes out as it’s made, not in any particular order, so sharing is the best way to do it. I will continue to return because of the convenience, service, and wonderful food.
Fabulous authentic Italian restaurant that was warm and inviting. The food was simple but spectacular with the freshest of ingredients will definitely return
Fantasticly prepared food with helpful and attentive staff.
Great Food - Great ambience_ Fair prices-Great staff. Wonderful neighborhood destination. Been coming here for years and planning to continue the tradition. Everyone I recommended SR to said they were very pleased. They have all gone back. Keep up the good work. Your signature salad is the BEST.
Been trying to get to this restaurant for a while. Food is absolutely delicious. Only hiccup of the evening was we ordered an appetizer that was never to be seen.
LOVE this place. Food is excellent. Wine is also outstanding.
Excellent food and warmth in this cozy authentic Italian neighborhood gem.
You have to expect rather small portions (at least for the main course) compared to other places and also compared to the price. The quality is nothing special, the bread hurt our gums. Atmosphere and service is ok though. We did not try the ham options which looked quite appealing.
My daughter just moved into an apartment on the upper West side so I searched OpenTable for a good restaurant close to her place. Salumeria Rosi had great reviews
so we gave it a try. Food was excellent. We shared an Insalata Mista salad, then for entrees had the lasagne and green papperadelle. Ambiance was very nice and service was excellent. Will definitely return. Highly recommend.
Thanks Evan!! Xo
Intimate space, with a nice date night vibe. Food was simple but done well, except the risotto which was flavorless and undercooked. Will try it again.
Ricotta Gnocchi comparable to store bought potatoe gnocchi. Nice desserts
I love this sophisticated neighborhood restaurant for its small scale, delightful waiters and delicious food.
We attended the Mellencamp concert at The Beacon and came across this eatery by way of OPenTable recommendation. It was fabulous! We have an eclectic sampling of meats, cheeses and the white anchovy-roasted peppers salad. In addition, we had soups - butternut squash and the broth - earthy chicken/pork served with a poached egg. What a delight. Not stopping there we share the gnocchi special - sweet potato. We were surrounded by other concert go-ers all enjoying similar selections. I highly recommend this place. Service was outstanding, and having the option to take these as small plates is a great way to try something new.
Great as always. Can recommend it to everybody. Food and wait staff is fabulous.
Had two wonderful meals but the third was disappointing. Service was sub par. Food marginal.
This is one of our favorite restos on the UWS. We've been many times and it's always great.
We've been here many many times. Last week it was the same great place, same great service, but the food was almost shocking underpar.
Starting with the cesar salad we returned it because the menu said escarole salad and received a white-ish romaine salad. The salad contained just letttuce and shaved parmesian, if it had one less ingredient it could no longer even be called a salad. It was simple, basic, and not much more.
The brussel sprouts were more disappointing. The menu included prosciutto and pancetta but i didnt see any in my plate of tepid-looking sprouts. I wouldn't be surprised if they were just boiled, in a de-flavorizer. I've had so many wonderful brussel sprout side dishes, what a dispiriting plate this was.
We tried the risotto for the first time. It was challenging to detect any truffle oil, after that the plate was also was just kind of blah and unmemorable.
Their signature dish, the rigatoni, was tasty and enjoyable as always.
The bill for this with about 10 oz of wine was $133. Perhaps this was an off night. but just based on our last dinner i couldn't recommend Salumeria.
Our favorite go to place on the UWS. We love the atmosphere and I can’t go too long with out having the lasagna!!!
We have been to Salumeria Rosi many times and it never disappoints. The quality of the food is outstanding. All the meats and cheese are cut to order and the pasta and entrees are excellent. We particularly enjoyed the gnocchi made from goat cheese, and the meatballs served over polenta (Friday night special). Menu is very reasonably priced and our waitress was cheerful and helpful. The owner, Andrew, does an outstanding job and you can see from his interaction with customers that he loves what he does. Bravo!!
Our go to neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and amazing service! Bon Apetito!
excellent food and service every time! wish the space was a little larger… a little more room would enhance the overall experience.
Wonderful as always. Terrific food. Friendly service. Short walk to Lincoln Center.
Nicole is an amazing person!!!! Every wonder why you go back to places? Yes it’s the food but more times than not it’s the people. Everyone who works here is friendly but Nicole is the best! Great food made even better with amazing service. This is what eating at a Neighborhood gem is all about. Small, delicious amd happy!
Tables are close. Almost like communal dining. Ideal for wine/meet & cheese. Pasta portions small but very heavy. Neither of us could finish a small.
I recommended Rosi to a friend already and she was very happy I did. Food was delicious and the help
very friendly. Will definitely go again.....
Consistently excellent food. Expert service and prompt. Perfect portion sizes.
Food was delicious and ambiance very friendly. A bit too noisy
Love this place. My fave in NYC. Great food, friendly service, wonderful neighborhood atmosphere,
My first choice restaurant for a hot bowl of Minestrone soup and a bowl of pasta!
Consistently good food and a great Italian wine list. I like the small plates, too.
This is my favorite restaurant in NYC. The food is perfectly delicious. I LOVE the anchovies and roasted peppers! The mussels are great. The sausage divine. All the staff is delightful and attentive. The wine list is very good AND the prices are moderate. So glad I found it.
