Great duck fat fries!!!!
Have been to Salty Sow twice now and am planning on dining there again soon.
The Salty Sow was recommended to us by friends so we decided to try it for dinner with another couple. We were able to request outside seating when we made our reservation on Open Table which we appreciated. They have a nice large patio area with a fireplace and live music. The menu offers a reasonable variety of items. We found the brussel sprout caesar salad to be outstanding. The entrees and desserts were all well prepared and tasty, but nothing was particularly exceptional. Overall worth a try though and we will consider returning.
We’re regulars at The Sow & loved this meal as much as ever. Rib eye tacos are so tasty! As are the cocktails. Only letdown is the under seasoned prime rib but you can’t go wrong with just about anything else on the menu. Try the green Chile pork stew- incredible!
Excellent service to go along with very tasty food!
Great atmosphere, service, and food. Would go back again for sure.
Great service, attractive decor, large portions for lunch, tasty original selections.
Our server knew that this was a birthday event yet failed to perform birthday services.
Food was great as usual.
Wonderful Sunday brunch buffet with a wide range of often unique dishes most with a Southwest influence.
Very good Sunday brunch buffet. Casual and cozy way to start your Sunday morning.
A lot of our favorites missing from the menu
The service was below par based on a many previous experiences.
Great food, friendly staff, conveniently located near our hotel.
A very Pleasant surprise. Easter Brunch, excellent service, good food, nice variety.
Attended Easter brunch while visiting Phoenix with family. Very pleasant experience which was above our expectations for such a large buffet event. Very well done.
The brunch is good. We went for Easter. Here are my two suggestions. $25 per person is reasonable for Easter. However when you make anyone 10 and older also pay $25 but don’t really have many options for a simple eater it would be expensive for any other brunch.
My wife and I will be back though. We really enjoyed the meal.
Food was very good but service was meh. I assume the waiter wasn't that attentive because we weren't drinking.
Good food & good service. Some of the menu items are unique. Live the crispy Brussels sprouts!
All courses were exceptional...absolutely delicious! Our server was great!
I had the French dip and it was great. The service was just as good
We love the Salty Sow and have been eating there for about 2 years. The service and food are fantastic. On Saturday we had Jessica as our server and she was awesome... we will be back again soon.
Great items on the happy hour menu, foods and drinks tmed to arrive very smooth sequence.
French Dip sandwich was delicious. Loved the fried green tomatoes appetizer too!
We got there about 30 minutes before the Happy Hour was over, so it was a nice surprise to have some cocktails at the Happy Hour pricing. The service was a little on the slow side, but overall it was a service. This was not our first visit. We've always enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
It’s a cute restaurant and a fun menu. But the service was lacking
As always, Michael's service is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE THE RESTAURANT. BEEN THERE MANY TIMES AND HAVE NEVER
HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE.
Excellent food, very pleasant atmosphere, reasonable noise level, spotty service (no help with the menu, no drink refills, no water refills) - overall it was fine, but a little attention would have made it excellent. Excellent value.
Nice greeting and accommodating. A bit slow with service. Shouldn’t have taken over 2 hrs for dinner. Afraid to order coffee and dessert. Place was very busy and so understand issues including noise. Maybe carpet underside of tables to help dampen noise level.
Excellent dinner, with a nice dessert, comped. We enjoyed the evening very much. Our dinner was delicious, and waiter was prompt.
Good restaurant, good food, nice service staff. My only complaint are the high top tables they have in some areas. The stools are high but even so the tables are too high. I’m just under 6 ft and the tables are across my chest. Makes eating difficult. Ask for a lower table or booth and you will have a more enjoyable eating experience.
Always can count on a great meal at Salty Sow. Love to take out of town guests here. So many great beers to choose from and always a great selection of entrees.
Sunday brunch used to be $20.00. Now its $24.95 and food portions have gotten smaller. And the variety of food at the brunch does not vary. So it could use some variety. Too many dishes have green chilis. Thought the fried chicken was too dry. At Sunday brunch, the value is no longer good for the price. If I go back fro brunch, it will be awhile.
Food was great until they brought out the main course. My cheese burger was so fatty, I had the chew threw chunks of fat. Definitely have had better quality meat at much cheaper restaurants.
I had a pork porterhouse in chili sauce. Best pork I have ever eaten. My wife had the filet and it was also excellent. Very good food! Highly recommend it!
I hate it when I make a reservation, show up on time and have to wait for a table. Not to worry at the Salty Sow. Place was packed when we got there at 7:00 for our 7PM reservation. A couple of minutes later we were seated. Great job by the hostess.
Tanner our waiter came by promptly to take our drink order and we threw in our app order at the same time. Not a problem.
This was our second time here and the food continues to be exceptional not only in inspired entre's and desserts but also a great variety with something that seems to fit our taste buds no matter what we're in the mood for.
Kudo's to the boys in the kitchen.....turnin' and burnin' with the best of them.
Can't wait for our next trip to Phoenix and our third visit.
We had a wonderful Friday night date at the Salty Sow! If I hadn’t made a reservation through open table, I suspect we would have had a long wait. Popular place for good reason - the food was amazing! The guacamole on the appetizer nachos was delicious, and my salmon was perfectly cooked with a super yummy black eyed pea salad. Hubby was very pleased with his beef and veg dish. If only we had saved room for dessert! Highly recommend.
Very good food & drink at reasonable prices but very very loud! Great service from Tanner!
Salty is a favorite... always great food. Service was just a little bit off, but not insurmountable. Usually the service is top notch. Still a favorite!!
We had made a reservation for 7:15 and arrived about 10 minutes early. We made the hostess aware of this and she told us our table was being “wiped off”- so as more people arrived and those that were waiting were seated we waited as well - it wasn’t until they approached a diner with a 7:30 reservation that my husband spoke up and said “ hey we were here and have a res at 7:15” that we got a table. I think they either forgot about us or seated someone else they thought was us. Other than that, our experience was great- anxious to go back when it’s warmer to sit outside.
