Good food, great ambiance on the patio.
We went for restaurant week after family photos. Everything was good. I didn’t care for the cheesecake in a jar but my partner did. But the brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal. They were delicious and the portion large. We will be back just for those
Even better than the last time!
The service was great and the food is excellent. One of our favorite places to go! Great atmosphere as well!!
Food and service was great but we arrived at 7 and the crowd was so noisy we had to yell over the table. Not a big deal, except it was a special dinner for my mother in law.
Salty Sow is simply fantastic. I'm so happy this place is in the neighborhood. The vibe is stylish casual but make no mistake, this is fine dining. Even though I've been here often and know the flavors will be great, the first bite always manages to surprise me. My favorites are the Rainbow Trout Almondine, Rotisserie Roasted Pork, and Asiago-Crusted Halibut. The wait staff is also outstanding too. Their level of professionalism is a good step above most places I consider nice in the Valley.
I’ve been there twice before and didn’t have a problem. This last time, I went for Mother’s Day and was disappointing. They did not have our reservation but set us up on a folding table and plastic chairs in the corner. Our food came out one at a time in very awkward increments. Our food was room temp and overall very disappointing. Our dinner took over two hours which could have been nice had we not been put in the corner by the street.
Sunday buffet. Very good food and very unique for a buffet. You have to try it...especially at $30
I was disappointed with the brunch. The chicken was very dry and tough. The pastries were dried out. The bacon was to hard and chewy. Positive note the service was great and it was a beautiful day to sit outside. I would not go back for brunch but I would go for lunch or dinner.
Salty Sow has always been consistent with service, food quality, and ambiance however noisy during peak hours. We frequent the restaurant on occasion and have never been disappointed.
Usually a great experience, the last two visits were just "ok". Service was great but food quality has dropped off quite a bit. Probably will end our visits here...sad
We have been here many times and it never disappoints us. The service is always good, the food delicious and except for the noise level, it is a very enjoyable experience.
I added that we were celebrating my mom's 89th birthday in my reservation, but waiter didn't bring it up. Thought that would have been communicated to them, it would have been a nice additional touch for them to wish her a happy one!
All was excellent, as always...
Always enjoy our food and Michael provided exceptional service!
We enjoyed sitting on the patio on a warm evening and sharing several appetizers and sides while enjoying some of their craft cocktails. The chorizo stuffed mushrooms in garlic butter were excellent and were creatively served as if they were escargot. The guacamole was tasty with toasted pepitas. Our server recommended the crispy brussel sprout leaves which were wonderful and slightly sweet due to a light agave syrup and golden raisins. We finished our evening with the bananas foster beignets which were pleasingly decadent. Had a pleasant conversation with the general manager. Very customer focused. A nice way to end our Arizona vacation.
Great place. We had a wonderful meal there with our kiddo and service was impeccable. Food is absolutely delicious!
Really glad to see they are trying out new food items on the happy hour menu! We tried several and were blown away by the shrimp bisque. One of the best soups I've ever eaten. I was so jealous I wasn't the one who ordered it so had to be satisfied with just a few bites! Hope they keep that one around a while, and if you see it on the menu jump on it!
The Alaskan Halibut is back in Season. Pricey at $33.00, but it is Rockin with the Asiago Crust and Lemon Butter Sauce. The Crispy Brussel Sprout Leaves are soooooo tasty!
Taking culinary to a new level. Imaginative and creative dishes that are perfectly executed. When you are getting tired of the typical "Out to Eat" experience, try the Salty Sow.
Brittany was our waitress and she was awesome. We have been dining at Salty Sow for about a year now and every time we come in, it does not disappoint us. Love your place, continue what you are doing..
Cindi & Mike Deschane
Halibut & Pork Chops were amazing. Reasonably good wine list.
Love Salty Sow. It's a limited menu but NOT restrictive. This way the food is always fresh and excellent. They do sprinkle in specials and they've added dishes beyond their namesake of "Salty Sow" to have chicken, roast beef and more while still retaining the quality of all the food they serve
Dinner and atmosphere was excellent. One of the best meals I’ve had in Arizona. Our server Brenna was informative, efficient and a pleasure deal with. We will return.
Great duck fat fries!!!!
Have been to Salty Sow twice now and am planning on dining there again soon.
The Salty Sow was recommended to us by friends so we decided to try it for dinner with another couple. We were able to request outside seating when we made our reservation on Open Table which we appreciated. They have a nice large patio area with a fireplace and live music. The menu offers a reasonable variety of items. We found the brussel sprout caesar salad to be outstanding. The entrees and desserts were all well prepared and tasty, but nothing was particularly exceptional. Overall worth a try though and we will consider returning.
We’re regulars at The Sow & loved this meal as much as ever. Rib eye tacos are so tasty! As are the cocktails. Only letdown is the under seasoned prime rib but you can’t go wrong with just about anything else on the menu. Try the green Chile pork stew- incredible!
Excellent service to go along with very tasty food!
Great atmosphere, service, and food. Would go back again for sure.
Great service, attractive decor, large portions for lunch, tasty original selections.
Our server knew that this was a birthday event yet failed to perform birthday services.
Food was great as usual.
Wonderful Sunday brunch buffet with a wide range of often unique dishes most with a Southwest influence.
Very good Sunday brunch buffet. Casual and cozy way to start your Sunday morning.
A lot of our favorites missing from the menu
The service was below par based on a many previous experiences.
Great food, friendly staff, conveniently located near our hotel.
A very Pleasant surprise. Easter Brunch, excellent service, good food, nice variety.
Attended Easter brunch while visiting Phoenix with family. Very pleasant experience which was above our expectations for such a large buffet event. Very well done.
The brunch is good. We went for Easter. Here are my two suggestions. $25 per person is reasonable for Easter. However when you make anyone 10 and older also pay $25 but don’t really have many options for a simple eater it would be expensive for any other brunch.
My wife and I will be back though. We really enjoyed the meal.
