Great food, awesome service.
Met a couple of friends for dinner..... the noise level was very high and it made it hard to visit.
Great service! Good food, easy to get to, and great happy hour, nice ambience!
One of my favorite places. Always a solid choice, never disappoints!!
We had a terrible experience at this facility. Dining at 6:30 p.m. specialty items on the menu were not available. We were forced to order items that were not our original choice. What was ordered had to be returned because it was not prepared properly. The manager did nothing to rectify this situation. This was an expensive bill and no one received what they originally wanted. We would not return or recommend this restaurant.
We had 7pm reservations. We tried to order 4 entrees none were available. We ordered the Brussel sprout salad. After starting to eat it no Brussel sprouts were visible. We called the waiter. “He said there is one. There is another one. Ridiculous. This to be. Brussel sprout salad. To have 3 pieces of sprouts not acceptable
Never returning again. One guest ordered hamburger. Med. it was raw!!! Needless to say not a good culi experience
Try the new smoked meats on the menu! The brisket was great!
I ordered the halibut a few months ago and the fish was undercooked twice! I visited this evening to give them the benefit of the doubt and yet again it was severely undercooked. We were not offered any discount or even dessert on the house for being served undercooked food, inconvenienced, and the fact my partner was trying to wait to eat with me, resulting in his food being cold . The point of going out to eat is to enjoy good food with good company. Overall poor dining experience, minus our server. She was great! Charging $40 for fish that you can’t cook properly or execute well is disappointing and definitely not worth the money or time. Will not be back and do not recommend.
Had St. Louis style ribs. Not very good - kind of a burned taste. Should probably go to St. Louis to sample ribs there and hopefully improve the preparation. Server was very pleasant and attentive. Sorry we were not impressed with the cuisine.
First time in this restaurant and we were very impressed. The decor was great as was the service and food. The pace of the meal was great and we never felt rushed. We will be back!
Had another great NYE dinner. Britney was super sweet and informative. We had a small snafu with an object in our Brussel sprouts but they were very remorseful and made thing better. I love dining here and plan many more delicious meals y
The menu was limited but the food and service were very good
Best meal we've eaten in Arizona! Everything was incredible start to finish. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, starting with the Chorizo Stuffed Mushrooms and Brussels Sprout salad as our appetizers. The Prime Rib and mashed potatoes were divine. The Pork Belly with grits was superb. Super cute ambiance.
Waitress did not know bar drinks & said she “didn’t think” there were any single malt scotches. When asked if she could check, she said she didn’t think so. I walked to bartender to discover there were indeed 4-5 choices of scotch. Thus began a pretty low dining experience.
Noisy, got lost in the service shuffle. Food generally good
Our waitress was not very energetic and it was very loud but I think it was the guy next to us was talking to louder to accommodate the noise level
Nice atmosphere. There was a separate happy hour and dining area. Food was very good. Ordered the salmon, which was cooked perfectly. Would make a very nice date night occasion
The prime rib was excellent, however the noise level from the bar, and overhead music was a bit much.
Also, I felt there should have been a couple of other entree choices....maybe another fish one. And I
find the wine was a bit expensive.....you shouldn't have to pay $10 for aglass of wine when you can probably buy the whole bottle at a liquor store for the same amount, or less.
We were there at 6:30. Two of the 4 of us ordered a special of the day--the brisket sandwich which at that hour was already gone. With it, they both ordered the creamed corn and once again the waiter came back to say they were also out of creamed corn. How much did the restaurant make to be out of both items at that relatively early hour?
The server was very good, however and the replacement food was good but not initially what was wanted.
While I'm sure it is okay as a neighborhood restaurant,we are not in the neighborhood. so just not sure we will go the distance to find out that what we want is no longer available.
The menu is great and food was good - none were outstanding tho. They were out of the wine we ordered and also out of the pasta (we were there at 6:30pm) which is their only vegetarian entree so our vegetarian was annoyed. The suggested brussel sprout salad turned out to be a green salad topped with some sprouts. Nice ambiance, decent cocktials...would try again.
We had a large group of 15. I know how over whelming that can be for a restaurant. We had two servers who took care of us and were on the ball the entire evening! I was very impressed! Good job Salty Sow!
Food is always outstanding. Our server was great - very personable, she fit right in!
Great food as usual and superior service by Brianna.
I was surprised that the brunch was a walkabout. I expected a breakfast bunch selection with wait service not self serve.
Excellent brunch and a great variety of not typical brunch foods!
Great experience, food was great, service excellent!
Salty Sow did a great job on their Sunday Brunch. You could plan around a breakfast or lunch or both. Very tasty offerings.
We had brunch at Salty Sow. The food was ok. There were a couple dishes that were good and the rest were average. We were seated next to a couple very loud tables which was nothing the restaurant could control. The service was polite and balanced (not hovering, not absent). We probably would not return for brunch without the coupon we had but I am glad we went. It was a nice change of pace since we don't often go out for brunch. As far as the food, the savory options were much better than the sweet options (french toast, fruit, pastries).
Our brunch experience at Salty Sow was great! The brunch was very busy and the food kept running out quickly! The staff was courteous and responded fairly quickly when I asked for foods to be replenished. The food quality was wonderful. The cocktails were also great! Love my Curly Tail!
Our server was attentive and friendly. Salty Sow brunch is an occasion we are appreciate and we keep coming back!
I’ve been to Salty Sow at least 20 times and I’ve been pretty much a satisfied customer until yesterday! I realize that the name of the restaurant describe exactly what your restaurant is all about! Salt and Pork but yesterday it was OVERLY SALTY! So was disappointed!
The best brunch in town!!! Bloody Mary’s and the chicken and Waffles are amazing!!! Would recommend it to everyone...
Their rib-eye tacos are delicious!!
I can't say if I would recommend Salty Sow or not. Given my last 2 visits, the food was wonderful, but the service was poor. I visited twice during my last Phx stay. The first waitress literally tossed the bill on the table without asking if we wanted anything else. My friend and I had taken advantage of the happy hour drinks and apps, but fully intended to have dinner. The waitress was less than friendly, helpful, informative or even interested in service. I could excuse it if it were busy, there were a number of empty tables around us. I chose to bring my dad and his wife for dinner my last evening in town. It was a Monday night. There were many empty tables. Once again the waitress (same table different waitress) treated us like we were interrupting her day. The food is worth the stop. The name of the restaurant should be "Salty Service." I was embarrased to bring my family there. I am a huge proponant of treating service staff with respect. I generally tip well as I believe it is earned and derserved - when the service is good. It is horrible when the service staff has absolutely no respect for the customer, their employer or their position. Unfortunately that was my experience during 2 visits this week. There are many good restaurants in the area. I will make a different choice in the future.
Love the ambiance and food is always good!!
Food was great as usual. Service was ok. Our server had a large party and kept forgetting about us .
Nice place inside and food was pretty good. We will go again if we are in the area.
The patio is very nice, a little noisy with a busy Shea Ave location, but the service and food made up for it. Very good overall...we are new to the neighborhood and we'll be back often...
Great customer service and the food was delicious.
We loved the food and sat outside so it was quiet and lovely. Our appetizer didn't come until the main course and they realized their mistake without us saying a word and comped the appetizer. It was so delicious we insisted to pay for it but the manager world not let us. The food was great and I can't say enough about their service and friendliness. We will come back and rrcommend it to friends.
Food was not good. Been there several times but the only ok dinner was the salad. Pork chops my favorite and over cooked and very tough. Chicken dinner were full of fat and one person upset much of the night.
Went from “go to place” to ???? ever go back
