It was restaurant week, therefor, a little bit noisier than normal? We had reservations and were seated immediately. Everything was lovely. Service, food and experience was great. I had the sea bass and it melted in your mouth. Love going there!

Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The specials were exactly that .. baked oysters with Gruyere cheese, crab spring rolls, filet mignon with Oscar topping , and chef’s lobster creation. Amazing!!

We both ordered off the Restaurant Week menu, which included starter, entree and dessert. I ordered almond coconut shrimp over rice and asian vegetables, with a peanut curry sauce. The sauce did not taste peanut curry, could detect ginger. They insisted that's their peanut curry sauce, and offered to bring me something else. I declined. It was alright, just not what I expected. My husband got the fish, and his was good, not great. Just a little disappointed on what I thought would be some of their best dishes on the special menu. We've been more impressed on previous visits.

Saltwater has always distinguished for being one of the best choices in the Island of Galveston. You can enjoy a drink at the bar or have an excellent meal and be part of a vibrant atmosphere. It is a place to visit and see for yourself. We had a good time and enjoyable dinner.

We celebrated Valentines Day at Saltwater Grill and the food and ambience was excellent.

I love the food! Always great service I feel like I’m in 5 star restaurant. Staff and management are so polite and professional. It worth the drive.

We were there to enjoy our 50th anniversary and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, our server was very professional and helpful with recommendations. The entire staff along with the manager made our celebration very special. Highly recommend this to go to for a special event or anytime you are dining out and want food that has been prepared by a true chef. Thank you all very much.

Byron and crew were amazing, the food was impeccable. Our waitress Julie was extremely attentive and we never had to ask for refills. We dined from the restaurant week menu and both had the fire grilled chicken. Tender, juicy and flavorful, it melted in my mouth. The salad was perfect and the dessert was a wonderful tangy and tart cheesecake I believe. I also had the Georgia peach drink from the happy hour menu and it was amazing. We also took a steak to go for my father, very rarely can you find so I e who can cook a perfect medium well, but Saltwater did it to perfection. Thank you to Mr. Bunch, Byron and Julie for the wonderful dining experience.

We have been to SWG many times over the last 15 years, but had not visited for years as our last meal was frankly, poor.
A new dawn: the food on this visit was sensational. Coconut shrimp, pot stickers and so on. Fabulous. We will return asap.

The food was delicious and service was excellent. It was comfortable and easy to converse because we were seated at a nice size round table just perfect for 6 people. Really enjoyed this dining experience.

Three had the restaurant week special, I ate from the happy hour menu. Food and drinks were excellent, service was great! The selections offered on both menus are top 10! Highly recommended both options, as well as regular dinner menu!

We enjoyed our dinner at Saltwater Grill. The dessert was pretty ho hum but otherwise very nice meal.

I have never had anything but a wonderful experience dining at Saltwater. The service and food are always spot on. I highly reccommend this place.

Great service and generous portions. Food was good.

The staff did not seem welcoming or inviting. Besides one person (I believe the manager) checking on how our food was, didn’t really feel like we were attended to much. The waiter was nice, but he was clearly busy. The food was ok, I just wish it had more seasoning or flavor. I love Caesar salad, but the one I was served was not good to me. The pasta I ordered was dry, however the salmon my husband ordered was really good. The note I put in the reservation was not acknowledged (ie my husband’s birthday). Even when we left, I believe it was the manager at the door and he didn’t even thank us for dining with them. Just feel like there should have been more engaging with customers and being friendly and smiling goes a long way.

I don’t see myself dining here again.

Made a reservation through Open Table, was in time and twin straight to to the table. No waiting. Ordered Parmesan Oysters and they were awesome. Big and fresh. Then got steak with a crab topper, cooked perfectly. Seasoned well and delicious. Sides were mushroom risotto, garlic mashed and broccoli. It was all really tasty. 9 out of 10. Service was excellent, not intrusive at all. Perfect for a date.

The tables were very close together with us sitting within a foot of our neighbor. If you are concerned about social distancing, I would not recommend this place.

Saltwater Grill has something for everyone. It is consistently DELICIOUS and never disappoints! Cant wait to go back.

We eat here every time we are in town. Never had a meal I didn’t like. Staff is amazing!

Came in for happy hour, we had the filet, it was delicious and cooked perfectly! Overall a wonderful meal and experience and would highly recommend you try this place.

Food was great and the service was awesome. Really appreciated our server who surprised us with an anniversary dessert. Very nice and warm gesture. I would definitely come back and invite friends and family. Thanks again for a wonderful evening.

Food and service were excellent. Only area for improvement is the wine list; it's pretty limited and basic, although you can find something to drink. Cocktail list looks much better.

Not too crowded on this visit, so noise level was low. But we do not mind the noise level on more busy nights....feels fun and active. As for service and food here... WE ARE NEVER DISAPPOINTED! Both have been excellent on all of our times here and we will continue to come back often!! Thank you for always accommodating our special requests, too!
