Saltus River Grill
Dined at Saltus on 4/15/19 with my wife and another couple. We all really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is a very relaxing, calming environment. Food and drinks were to notch. Nice wine list. Great service. Highly recommended by all 4 of us.
Perfectly caramelized sea scallops that melt in your mouth. The Chicken and Dumplings were Gnocchi and amazing. Desserts were superb. Gorgeous food and beautiful ambience.
Absolutely fabulous first experience! We will definitely be back!
I recently dined with friends at Saltus. The food and the service were outstanding. Every person chose a different entree and were quite pleased.
Often people will say 'this is the best meal I've ever had' but you haven't until you try Saltus, I assure you. Absolutely fantastic meal. We mainly opted for the non-entree options and loved every minute of it. The cocktails are also wonderful and go down easy :) prices were very reasonable and the staff is excellent. 5 big bright stars all the way!!! Can't wait to come back next year!!!
Beautiful setting and the food is outstanding!
Had my birthday here. Nick was our server. Outstanding job as usual. 10/10 will be back
Saltus is one of the best restaurants in Beaufort. I've never been disappointed with a meal here. Great service and consistently good food. Great variety. House old fashioned is the best. Have eaten here at least 10 times
Delicious! Wonderful service!
Our friends were not able to come, thus just two of us. Our table was on an aisle from the kitchen and rather busy. Noise level as usual was “energetic” (expected on a Friday night). A booth or the bar is the place to be!
Incredible hidden restaurant with exceptional and knowledgeable Service. Great seafood and oh! Wood fired roasted oysters as an Appetizer, THE BEST ever! Try the Dorado, Scallops or Grouper. So fresh, prepared many ways with complementary additions. And don’t forget the bartender. Best martini’s always.
This restaurant was highly recommended and it did not disappoint.
My wife and I had a great meal at Saltus River Grill. Would highly recommend it while in the Beaufort area
This was low country food raised to a sophisticated level. The ingredients were all high end. I thought I hated shrimp and grits until I tasted these. The others were low end food at high end prices. This was imaginative creations backed up by fresh and healthier ingredients. The outdoor area was spectacular and the fireplace made it perfect. Service outstanding.
Good service. Great food
While we were vacationing in Beaufort, we dined twice at Saltus. Both times the waiters were personable and quick with our drinks and food, the music playing was a mix of Marvin Gaye and old Motown performers (some of my favorites), the bartenders didn't chintz on the liquor in our drinks, the food was delicious, (chef special was outstanding), and the restaurant was crowded by the time we left. We knew why!
Picture perfect setting along the river. The sunset against the marina park was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
It’s a great place for a special evening. Food fabulous. The noise level is high so a bit difficult to share conversation. Still enjoyed it very much.
Everything was fantastic! We cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Beaufort.
The only thing that arrived quickly was the water. We sat for long minutes to actually meet our waiter. We ordered appetizers and a bottle of wine and requested bread service. We got the appetizer then waited long minutes for the wine then when that eventually arrived we reminded the waiter about the bread. The rest of the evening was no different. We expected something better but it turned out to be a lackluster occasion
Food was amazing!!! Enjoyed the blackened grouper. Expertly prepared.
Outside patio was beautiful and the food was delicious. Very nice menu.
Amazing food. How the chef creates the pairings of certain foods together is fantastic.
Everything was as requested, the wine was chilled perfectly and the table was perfect. The service here is always the best! Food was delicious!!
Live music on the waterfront patio topped off a great meal and perfect evening!
Very customer focused restaurant. Do everything possible to provide a great experience. River views are extroadinary.
We had a girls night out and did dinner before the ghost tour. Our wait staff was excellent making sure we got out on time and weren’t rushed. The food was outstanding! We were seated near the bar area and the noise was a bit loud, had I known I would have asked to move to the other side of the dining area.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful view. Wonderful menu. Excellent service. We will definitely go back again!
Fabulous setting on the river with excellent menu options
We were very pleased and completely satisfied with everything from our greeting, friendliness and helpfulness of our server and quality and presentation of our food . I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to come back the next time we come to Beaufort.
One of my favorite restaurants in Beaufort. Excellent food and our waiter , Nicholas, went beyond the call of duty to insure that our evening was memorable.
A delicious meal, excellent service, great location. Always have a goid experience here.
Everything is wonderful about this place. We always get an excellent meal with very good service. Anytime we are in Beaufort, we try to book a dinner at the Saltus River Grill. You best book a table several days in advance.
Not great service- close table to others. Conversations were loud.
Great food and service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back.
We sat outside on the patio next to the fireplace temps in the mid 70’s no humidity. I had the steak with mashed potatoes spinach Béarnaise sauce very tasty. My wife had the herb chicken and gnocchis. Very romantic evening
Devin was a wonderful server. Food quality excellent as was the preparation. A lovely evening on the patio!
Dinner with wife, had a very enjoyable experience, out waiter was excellent, professional, personable and even entertaining. We’ll come back next time we’re in town
Superior quality. From the Old Fashion to the oaky Chardonnay then the raw oysters and the Caesar salad, to the flounder entree with grits and stewed tomato, to the apple crisp desert, the best meal we have had in years. Our waiter was knowledgeable, affable, conversive and a true gentleman. Saltus was recommended by a local we met. I am very happy we took her advice.
