   As always the food and serve were exceptional. Saltus always delivers the best of both. Best shrimp and grits in Beaufort.

   The food server accidentally spilled water and ice on a member of our party. Her apology was, “Sorry about that.” She made no effort to clean up. The waiter basically ignored us for 1.5 hours. We brought the issue to his attention but he essentially gave us “lip service”. However, the food was good.

   An excellent restaurant group. Great service, great food. We dined at the sister restaurant for lunch also. Both were wonderful. Would highly recommend!

   Tuna nachos were outstanding. I had a soft shell crab special that was excellent. My son had the Delmonico steak and my wife had halibut. It was all delicious.

   There were some folks at the bar near us that were very loud. Took away from the nice environment of the restaurant.

   The menu is well positioned for all requests. Service is well organized. I just dined here twice in 10 days. If I didn't live in the Pennsylvania, I would have a weekly table reserved. Really enjoy the food, service, and location.

   The menu was exciting, the execution and presentation were flawless, and the drinks and wine were great. We sat outside for the river view and the quiet, as the indoor dining room was quite loud. We'd definitely go back!

   Our waitress was knowledgeable and sweet. Our apps came out one after the other with perfect timing. We had a lull for our main course however which was taking longer than it should. Our waitress was on top of all the way. She apologized and finally it came out. It was perfectly cooked, not cold and the pork chop was deliciously perfect. Because of the delay, she took off our corkage fee which was a nice way of thanking us for our patience. We will definitely be back.
