The food was delicious and the view is stunning.
Excellent server. Perfect place for early evening meal with view
The food was excellent as well as the service. Bartenders made excellent drinks.
Nice outdoor dinner with an amazing view.
Pork bellies were awesome. Pork shank too, though a little dry. Give me some sauce!
We had a wonderful experience. The views were excellent, the food delicious and well presented. And excellent service.
Good food and very scenic restaurant patio
We were there at night so didn't get to appreciate the view. The setting of the hotel is beautiful, though. I found the food to be good, not great. I had the queso fundido and pork carnitas tacos. More food than I could eat! The homemade chips were spiced, which, personally, I felt unnecessary. The tacos (4 small ones) were served open faced style so would have preferred to pick up like a regular taco but couldn't. As I said, good food, good service, but not "over the top you have to go here" great. Also, you can only valet park down their long driveway, and if you choose to park up the hill in public parking, it is a dark, dangerous walk down the hill at night.
The food and service were both good. That said, we were there on a rainy night and stuck inside adjacent to the hotel lobby. The check was $150+ for the two of us which the ambiance would not support. Hopefully it is better when you can be outside.
Great margaritas and the food was fantastic too. There was a classical guitar player the night we were there, and he definitely added to the ambiance. A lovely evening all round!
What a wonderful gem in Sedona! We went here for our anniversary and so glad we did! The food was amazing, especially the pork tacos! At the end of our dinner the server brought us a hand written card for our anniversary! The views are spectacular here as well! Great food, staff and ambiance!
Best meal we’ve had in Sedona! Beautiful and creative food. Don’t miss the crab cake and the chocolate cake. Cocktails are to die for!
Great sowthwest kitchen . Pork belly app was the highlight . Would highly recommend. If you go to the sowthwest you should eat sowthwest SaltRock was perfect!
Great food and the outdoor seating is fantastic. One of the best we experienced on our time in Sedona.
Out of a seven day trip we usually dine at SaltRock four evenings. You’re bartenders are excellent and the server Wayne is exceptional.
Food was outstanding . Pork belly app was worth going back. Cocktails unique . Atmosphere relaxing .
Great food, excellent service, if it was warmer we would have sat outside and probably rated Ambiance a 5
The food and the outdoor patio was beautiful. The service staff has a great pace and works together to make the evening happen. Thank you very much!
The food and the service was excellent including the margaritas. Nice place except it’s a little too dark in the evening. Nice views the the red rocks and snoppy. I highly recommend this place.
We had the osso bucco and it was delicious. Also recommend the potatoes/chorizo side dish. Wade was our server, and his timing was perfect throughout the entire meal.
Food was original and flavorful. Wait staff was prompt and professional. They would benefit from not being in the resort lobby though. Space was nice but ambiance lacked a little
The food and service were great. In particular, I really appreciated the attention paid by our server to the fact that I was vegetarian. He checked the ingredient list even for some items that I assumed were vegetarian and told me they were not and suggested some vegetarian alternatives. He was very helpful and understanding and his suggestions turned out to be delicious. We were very happy with both the food and the service.
Ambiance. Delicious food creations. A light bread would be nice. Our server, Colleen, was great. Realize cocktails are the specialty but disappointed in the glasses our Pino Noir was served in
A cold and snowy evening in Sedona. The restaurant is actually pretty small. They have valet parking that is complimentary which is nice. The menu is pretty limited and because of the snow they were out of the Salmon dish. We had the Fundido for an appetizer which was quite good. My wife had Bass because of not having any Salmon and she said it was OK. I had the Duo Chicken which left a lot to be desired. The thigh was cooked so long that it was more like a rock than chicken. The breast was good. Our waitress was Shelly and she did a good job and was very professional and personable. The patio has a fire pit and they have warmers but the weather made that a non option. Not sure I'd return as the food wasn't up to the prices.
We went for a 7 o’clock dinner. Ordered the marquarita which was very good. Then crab cakes which were raved about on reviews (I consider myself rather a crab cake expert ) and I was not empressed. My husband had gotten the filet and he was pleased. Our server was nice and the guitarist (whom by the way I felt like he was playing just for us as our table was less than a foot away from him and I did tell the hostess was unsatisfactory) was actually superb. Very expensive restaurant with a snooty atmosphere and a less than impressive menu.
Had a few meals here. Hit & miss on the food. Eggs undercooked, steak unevenly cooked, salads were great, pricey for the quality. Great views. Decent service. It is fine, but just okay.
Service was not great, drinks took way too long considering it was the end of the night and the place was not that busy, took another five minutes for my daughter to get a straw. (Let me add that with her disability she needs a straw because she can't continue to put her head back to take a drink.) Food was okay, not horrible, but nothing that memorable. Also, it was way too dark. Even my daughter had to use the light on her phone to see the menu. Don't waste your time here.
Food just ok. Service was spot on.
Superb! Food was amazing, over all experience was excellent
Good food & service nice place
Hotel restaurant at best. (yes, they are in a hotel/resort). Very small dining area in the winter - no outside seating so that hurts them. View is nice but there is much better views at cheaper places up the hill. If you’re staying at the resort, fine. Otherwise do not bother. Fairly expensive for what you get. Ambiance just sucks - located just off the lobby with a small bar flowing into the eating area. Noise was high and lots of people just walking by to get to the patio, There is so much better in the area. So very disappointed that we just left halfway through the meal (paid of course). Went to another place for drinks and dessert. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. By the way - menu was very limited and, surprisingly, not very innovative. I guess I was expecting more.
Right off the beaten track, this is a gem of a restaurant. Free parking for dining which was a big plus. Food was amazing. We had the Posole. Not a huge portion but a good starter to be shared for two. We had the pork torta which was also amazing and we shared that. A wonderful spot to get away from the tourists up the hill!
Osso bucco amazingly tender. The margarita with casa noble tequila was perfect! Thank you!
The food was delicious. The menu is not extensive and entrees are primarily chunks of protein like steak, fish, and pork. I was expecting more variety in terms of southwestern food. I did select the grilled corn and carnitas tacos from the appetizer menu and enjoyed them thoroughly. The soup was a pureed sweet potato with chorizo, also very good. The restaurant is in a hotel lobby which requires driving down a steep hill and using complementary valet.
We were seated at a table that was very dark. There was a tiny battery tea light on the table. We asked for extra lighting and the server seemed offended and was uninterested. We wound up getting our own extra lighting and he returned with a poor attitude, telling us “whatever floats your boat”. His attitude was not fitting with a lovely dining room. Right after that we had a new server - the poor server fired us.....Our new server was great.
We had a great bottle of wine and fabulous prime rib that was prepared to perfection.
Too bad that our first server started our special occasion so rudely.
Girls lunch. Service was outstanding and food was tasty. The $25 prix Fire was great!
First the setting, of course, was spectacular. We had dinner outside with a view of camel and snoopy rocks. They set us up with heaters to make us comfortable on a rather chilly night and provided us all with nice, cozy blankets. Second, our server, Blair, provided us with a great dining experience. He correctly read that we wanted to luxuriate over cocktails, appetizers and the sunset and adjusted his service delivery to our pace. And third, the food was just wonderful.
Beautiful view and setting! Came here for a 65th birthday lunch and sat outside under the heaters. I wish the landscapers aren't running equipment and blowers during restaurant hours, but I guess they have to did it sometime..
Food was delicious and came out promptly. Presentation was nice and service was efficient.
Great service; delicious food; amazing atmosphere! My daughter and I shared the pre-fix menu - an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. It was all delicious. Such a fantastic hidden gem!
Excellent food & service. Will absolutely be a stop every time we are in Sedona!
