I had a reservation and was looking forward to eating here. When I went to the host stand to check in, the host said, ‘hang on a second I’m finishing a text—haha not very professional of me’. Honestly, it didn’t really bother me so I just let him finish. After we were sat at our table, we waited for 20 minutes for someone to notice we were there. We tried to flag down a waiter or waitress but to no avail. Recognizing there is a staffing shortage, we were inclined to be patient. However, after 25 minutes we just got up and left. Sorry to leave a negative review that isn’t about the food itself. I wouldn’t plan an evening around this restaurant again.
We had a terrific meal seated outside with a beautiful view of the red rocks at sunset.
Our server was outstanding and didn’t rush us . I ordered one of the best margaritas I have ever had. We started with the Elote which was great and we both ordered the branzino which was delicious a beautifully presented deboned with a creamy sauce over Faro and diced veggies. We also ordered the grilled broccolini which we didn’t need , but enjoyed nevertheless.we enjoyed it so much we will return again.
Great views, staff was great. Menu not very expansive, but very good.
The Bronzino was fabulous.
Good food, nice ambience, and fun playlist. Will definitely dine here again
I don't remember specifically what everyone got but OMG it was delicious! And the drinks.... AMAZING!
Nice meal, well prepared. Small menu, but large enough to find something you like.
Great food, service and atmosphere! Would like to go again!
Loved it! Had such a great time and the view is incredible!
Wonderful food. Friendly service. Amazing scenery.
Limited menu compared to what is online with OpenTable. Good margaritas and specialty drinks. Very nice venue that is undergoing some renovations.
Food was great! Ambiance left much to be desired. Older resort. Outside dining very noisy and right next to the pool. In fairness, resort seemed to be under renovation which may explain the difficult ingress, egress.
Service was great. Sauce was cold.. Music too loud for dinner time. Great view. Hoping for better next time.
I made reservations for our anniversary while visiting Sedona. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation time and were greeted about 5 minutes later. We were sat on the patio with a beautiful view. We were greeted with water and assured our server would be right with us. We waited 15 minutes and although we saw 3 different servers move around us, not one acknowledged us. We decided to leave. The host wasn’t at there when we left so we shared our experience with the very kind valet, Chris, who took our information and said he would take to the restaurant GM. It has been 4 days and we haven’t been contacted by management. This was a disappointment.
Dreadful service, e.g., the glass of wine I requested arrived as I was finishing the filet mignon.
The setting was spectacular, the food was great, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Celebrated our 40th - two of us both turning 40 - but they didn’t do anything special or acknowledge it. Also never checked us in on open table so I had to call a manager Rodney to address that the next day - then had to call again the following day because he didn’t fix the reservation issue either … food was mediocre, enjoyed the chips and guac. Elote was boring and lacking flavor. Margaritas were fantastic. Salads were just ok. Probably wouldn’t return the next time we are in Sedona unless just for drinks. The setting wasn’t very pretty compared to other restaurants either
Salt rock came highly recommended but was quite a disappointment. First off we had no choice but to be valet parked. Even though we were a bit early for our reservation ( and not a full restaurant) it took a long time to be seated. Not that we were in a big hurry but it took a long time for the waiter to even come to our table and take our drink and appetizer order and even longer to get. The food was good but the sound system was so loud it was hard to hear each other talk. Hotel guests kept walking through the middle of the outdoor seating from the pool as well. It seemed that they were WAY understaffed. After dinner it took FOREVER to get our vehicle. Other people were going to the parking lot to get their own cars. Good food but terrible service from the start. We won’t be coming back.
We made a reservation for 10 AM brunch. Thankfully we were 5 minutes early because they close at 10. Even though I could also make a reservation for 10:30. The waitress was quite rude about taking our order and turned other people away at 10.
The best dinner we have had in Sedona this week factoring in food and service. Friends had bass we had short rib tacos which were phenomenal. Our server Henri was attentive and provided excellent service. Chocolate cake to finish the meal was delicious and just enough for two.
The food and view were awesome. Our drink service was beyond poor. The server was very nice and apologized multiple times for the delays from the bar.
Sat outside. Beautiful setting. Had the salmon and it was a bit overdone. Service was excellent!
Nice garden tables.
Margarita was very good! Service was excellent! View was very lovely. Food was just OK and very expensive. Prices were like those in Hawaii.
This place was small and cute tucked in the Amara hotel next door to our hotel, service was fantastic and fast, the only reason I didn’t give it five stars was the food portions were small for the price but it was honestly delicious, especially the pork belly tostada and short rib tacos!
We enjoyed the dinner but it did not make us want to come back with all of the other choices around town.
Food was great and view of Sedona "rocks" was awesome. Menu was fairly limited and a little pricy.
Our food was over cooked. The service was good and it’s beautiful ourside
Portions were very small for the price. I need 50 characters
We had a reservation at 8:15, got to the reservation at like 7:55, told we can get a drink and the host will get us seated once the table gets cleaned. It’s about 8:25, we ask about our table and the host acts like the table was still being cleaned but we saw 4-6 parties get seated before/left since 7:55. There were a couple of seats still open. We get seated at 8:30, server or anyone doesn’t come to us until 8:50, when I went and asked the host where our server is. I see the host grab the manager and mention that we haven’t been approached.. no apology. I see the manager talk to the server he has our table.. no apology and doesn’t even approach us… another server approaches us and goes “heard you haven’t been helped, can i take your order”…
We ordered ceviche and it was decent. The chips were salty. 5/10
Short-braised tacos were little plain. 6/10
Prickly Pear Margaritas 7/10
Chocolate cake was probably the best thing out of the whole meal. 8/10
If I were to come back to Sedona, I would only come back for Margaritas for convenience if I was staying at the resort. They were $15 each. Other than that, I wouldn’t bother coming back to this restaurant.
Amazing food excellent customer service
We had a really nice lunch experience and had great service.
Views were epic, service was outstanding, food was great! Would definitely come back.
We were a group of four and it was the last evening of our trip to Sedona. We hoped for a wonderful last meal and we got it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were made to our requests and were prepared perfectly. Our server was attentive and made sure that all our questions and requests were responded to quickly. It was her second week on the job and she was friendly, professional, and responsive. We sat at an outdoor table and had a lovely view. The only negative is that the hotel room balconies were very close to the restaurant patio. There were no guests sitting on them at the time that we were dining, but if so, it would have been awkward. Regardless of this minor detail, we would highly recommend this restaurant.
What’s on their website is not the same as what is there in terms of menu. Not welcoming initially be host but food was good and outside seating has a view. I understand Covid may have had an effect but they should update their website…
Excellent dinner. Destiny was our waitress and I would encourage any restaurant operator to find a waitress like Destiny. Her attitude with everything going on made us laugh, she recommended dishes not based on the higher price but because they were excellent dishes by the chef. So..... a shout out to the Chef ! GREAT JOB!
View and service were great! Food and drinks were overpriced and underwhelming at best.
Great scenary but food medicore and Margaritas tasteless
So glad we found this place! Food was amazing and service spot on. Can recommend the street corn, potatoes, soup and pork. The classic margarita was fabulous and the best we’ve had in Sedona. The resort is undergoing construction which does affect the ambience but you sit outside (so go later when it’s cool) and you do have a small view of the red rock. We’d go back!
