    A little disappointed in the menu for lunch. Great atmosphere. Seemed like staff wasn’t ready people at 11:30. Just ok. Good burger. Hubbies Cobb salad was just so so. Would be a great place to sit and have chips and salsa and a margarita to watch sun on rocks at sundown.

    This was our second visit to Saltrock. Both visits were to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it so much the first time that we decided to go back. We didn’t receive any congratulations (they gave us a greeting card the first time that the staff signed). We sat outside at 7:30pm and it was pretty dark. We’re in our 20s and 30s so if you’re any older you’ll need to use your flashlight. The food the second time was mediocre, at best. The elote was blasé and the guacamole looked like it was Wholly guacamole from the store. I’d like to shout out Erin, the busser. She was great! Will not be going back, unfortunately.

    My friend and I ate dinner here for the first time. The view was lovely and food excellent. We had the pork belly tostada for appetizer and the Sun Devil Margarita. I had the ShrimpTamal for an entree and she had the Salmon. For dessert I had the flan. Everything was delicious. Prices were a little high but worth it. We parked ourselves in a lot but they do offer valet. My only critique would be I received a couple of mosquito bites so maybe some citronella candles would be great and would add some much needed mood lightning since it was a little dark when our entrees arrived. Overall I really enjoyed it and will plan on eating here again in the future.

    Our group sat outside on the patio which was lovely, but very dark. We all enjoy dim candle light at dinner, but this was extreme. There was a live band outside (90's style white boy alt guitar rock), and fortunately we were not very close to it; however it was still much too loud. Everyone in our group has good hearing and yet we had to shout to have a conversation. The menu is fairly small but the food was good. I appreciated the vegetarian options and the healthful choices. The chips are not so healthful but delicious and freshly made, and we ate a lot of them because the salsa was also great. Some of our party had eaten the chile relleno at Elote the night before and found Saltrock's version to be much better. Mixed drinks got good reviews.

    Pros Empanadas are good And the filet is good too . At $50 usd for 8 oz The service is good Cons: The poor environment Wine super expensive for a cheap wine and poor wine list , we had the Clos bu Val for $120 usd when the price is $35 The grey goose vodka was $14 on the price list and they charged $ 35 usd for 2 The place environment is like a cafeteria , it’s like a Luby’s buffet but you have to pay 10 times the prices than over there The espressos martinis the worst we have had , super bitter Overprice and we’ll never come back

    Despite less favorable reviews by some diners, our experience was awesome. Really quick service, good assortment of unique Southwest menu items, great tasting dishes, and reasonable prices for Sedona (where you would expect to pay $18.50 for chips & salsa & guacamole). Free valet parking too. Only criticism was that our waiter forgot to bring the hot sauce, but otherwise a 5.0 rating.

    Would not return. Chose this restaurant for my boyfriends birthday and to enjoy the sunset. Didn’t get to see much of the sunset however their patio is quaint and has a cute little view of mountains. The service was bad. The only good thing was getting a glass of water as soon as we are seated. Otherwise we had to wait over 20 minutes just to put a drink/ food order while we noticed other parties who sat after us order and receive drinks before we were even helped. The hostess had to come to the back just to apologize to us and stated someone would be by to take our orders. Food was good. We ordered pork belly tostadas that were phenomenal. Thought the chips and guacamole for $18 was way overpriced. We both ordered prime rib for our entree with same temp (medium), my steak was over cooked and somewhat dry while my boyfriend’s was cooked to his liking. We would’ve ordered a dessert for his birthday but wouldn’t want to wait another hour just to get the order in and food.

    The polenta with shrimp was out of this world. The Table, we sat out at an excellent reviews of snoopy mountain. The waiter last night was one of the most professional and attentive waitstaff we have ever experienced Wilder.

    This was such an amazing dinner, the service by Alasondro was above and beyond. Food was so incredible with the most amazing view. Believe me this is an absolute must stop if your in Sedona you won’t be disappointed

    Didn’t know what to expect, but it was a perfect experience. The food was amazing. My wife’s salmon was slightly undercooked, so they served her a new one which was cooked to perfection.  plus, they gave us a dessert on the house for the trouble Our server,Destiny, was great. She had great recommendations, and was super friendly and attentive.  The cocktails were spot on.  There was Spanish guitar for live entertainment.     Alejandro was an excellent server that provided thorough knowledge of the menu and was very responsive to whatever we needed. The food was absolutely amazing! We came across this place last minute, we had never been to Sedona and this was our first night in town. What a beautiful way to be introduced to the beautiful surroundings, great food and nice people! Not going to lie we were skeptical of "Latin-inspired" food being from LA we are picky about Mexican food... but THIS! This was incredible. We started with the pork belly tostadas...yumm, then I had the Pastor lobster tacos on blue corn tortillas-best dish I have had this year! My husband had the Carne asada (flank steak) and it was so buttery it melt in your mouth. They also surprised us with a beautiful chocolate cake dessert for his bday! Such a beautiful place with friendly staff and amazing views, They also had a creek you can walk to after dinner which was beautiful. Next on our list is staying at the resort!

    Friendly service, scrumptious cocktails (the La Verdad margarita is SO good, with smoky mezcal and freshly charred pineapple puree), and their fresh guac and salsa with chips were exemplary (although I prefer corn to their flour tortilla chips). My partner’s cobb salad, which he added marinated skirt steak to, was satisfying, and my vegan zucchini relleno was full of roasted, toasty flavors and one of the best meatless entrees I’ve had in ages. The flan served with caramel popcorn, fresh berries, and a swirl of agave syrup was an innovative complexion of delightful tastes and textures. Nice views over the resort grounds to the red rocks. We’ll be back!

    Pricey, food was good. Couldn't get waiting on from the patio waited for more than 15 minutes in the heat at 2p. Moved to the lounge restaurant. Service was adequate. Big thank you to Heather who found and returned my ring that I accidentally left in the women's restroom, remarkable!! Parking attendants amazingly efficient and friendly, perfect.

    Great little restaurant in a great little resort. We were so excited to find this gem of a resort and restaurant in our travels. Really enjoyed the street corn appetizer and the shrimp tamale was fantastic! (the plating of the shrimp tamale is also worth seeing!) The view from both indoors and outdoors at the restaurant is stunning and sets the tone for a relaxing day/evening. Service was on point and very aware of food preferences/allergies. Definitely a place worth stopping at!

    The chef is brilliant. Best meal by far in Sedona. Excellent flavors with unexpected really smart combinations of flavors and textures. The only miss was the Margarita. The blue crab empanadas were perfect. The sear on the scallops was deep with the center done perfectly over a bed of farro cooked with kale. The raw carrot ribbons on top provided a crunch, freshness a the sweetness to bring out the richness of the rest. Go if you can!!
