Loved this experience! Great food, amazing service, excellent view!
It was our first time there, love that they can serve you so early since we needed to be out on the road to head back home. The view is amazing!! And staff was so fast! Food was great and fresh!
Food was decent, drinks are overpriced and underrated but the view was terrific.
Wonderful restaurant with beautiful views &. food! Great service!
Wow! Fabulous food and excellent service with an out-of-this-world Polaroid view of the sandstone bluffs. The tacos verduras with cauliflower were al dente, a little bit of spice, maybe some chipotle sauce? and a southwestern slaw; very satisfying. We both had the salmon with hazelnut crust; it could have been a touch more rare but it was delicious. The margaritas had a great authentic flavor; the mezcal and the spicy salt were a great blend. He had the gigantic ice cream cookie sandwich. The vanilla ice cream was thick and creamy and the cookies were big and tasted a bit like a cinnamon sugar cookie. I had a trio of gelato and sorbet: the chocolate gelato was very chocolatey and the apple cinnamon was very tasty, not overpowering. We did not love the strawberry gelato by comparison. Our server Wade, the assistant, the hostess and the other server were all very pleasant and friendly to us and to others. Did I mention the view?! The view alone could have trumped the meal; happily the food and the drinks were as excellent as the scenery. Overall a memorable evening. Thank you! Highly recommended.
The food prices on central order a little overpriced but good. I did have to remind myself that it is a tourist area
Waiter was Wade and very good!
Table spacing was good, not to crowded on a Wed evening.
The prices should include a side dish . I had Salmon special and it came with a few tomatoes. My wife had the taco special and good.
The evening ideal and the view is as promised.
Food was average, at best. Cocktails were better. Way over priced for what you get.
If your looking for a great view of sunset & great food, keep looking.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Pricing a bit high for overall experience.
Great tasting food and friendly service. The margaritas are amazing and made with fresh squeezed juice. View is amazing, highly recommend going an hour before sunset to see the sun hit the rocks.
Amazing service, delicious food, perfect cocktails, and gorgeous ambience. Don’t miss out on the ice cream sandwich for dessert too! We plan to return upon our next visit to the area.
We had an amazing server - prepared ice bowl of water for our puppy and carried herself very professionally. I’ve worked in service and it didn’t get better than our experience at Saltrock with our female server. Thank you so much!
We had a reservation for 6:45 on the patio. We roughly arrived 5 minutes before our reservation. The hostess sat people without reservations instead and we didn't end up getting our table till nearly 7:45. The hostess told us at 6:45 it would be 15 minutes max. Then came over 4 more times and kept saying 5 minutes. We finally got to our table and the restaurant was out of the special (chicken tacos) and we were told the hostess was supposed to have told us this. All together one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Our server was friendly and he did do a nice job.
Overall very nice service, food and atmosphere. Bar was backed up. Servers Destiny and Alejandro were excellent except Al’s shirt was covered in stains. The outside tables are pretty barren looking, could use some sprucing up out there. All the food was excellent except the turkey in my wrap was extremely dry and there wasn’t much sauce to help save it. We enjoyed our drinks and evening out very much. Locals, we will return.
Beautiful views, but very high prices for the quality of food received. We were the only table dining indoors and the service was mediocre.
While we enjoyed the food and ambiance, We noticed there were kids using the cushions of your seating as a trampoline, and we saw no one supervising them at all. Our fear was that one of them could have gotten hurt. We also believe for the price we paid, the drinks could have been much better. I had to actually have a drink remade, and then ha to ask that it be remade. Overall experience was unsatisfactory for the price we paid.
The kitchen was out of the first three items we selected, and the waiter was rude towards the women in our party. As if he had an axe to grind? Not sure. Both of the women in our party found him to be creepy. Won't be returning.
We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The food was incredible, drinks hit the spot, and the scenic view from our table was unforgettable. The atmosphere was elegant, peaceful and lush. Our server Rachel, did an amazing job making us feel welcome and cared for. It was an phenomenal experience.
As a RN I A preciate the masks. But the bathroom did not have any hand soap. They did have hand sanitizer but that is not what the CDC recommends after going to the bathroom. I informed the hostess And was told they would take care of it and when I returned 45 minutes later still no hand soap. In this day and age with the Corona virus completely unacceptable how are of the kitchen and wait staff washing their hands? I WILL NOT RETURN.
Awful, food was way over priced and so salty. I was very disappointed with everything. All 6 in the group felt the same.
What a disappointment our server definitely did not want to help us. Didn't bring waters or silverware to the table it took another server to bring us silverware after seeing we had our food but nothing to eat it with. Our server didn't care if our food was good or not asked in passing and didn't return again until it came time for payment. But he had no problem giving his full attention to the table of loud drunk girls so I guess we had to be straight blond drunk girls inorder to get service. What a disappointment definitely will not go back and will not recommend to anyone didnt matter we had reservations such a disappointment for the price we paid
The staff were exceptionally fantastic!! The food was outstanding and drinks were delicious add fresh! Thank you Juan and Marty!!
We were confused about the parking situation. Apparently the last 3 levels of parks are valet only while we didn’t find any valets. The hostess was very gracious in making calls for us to make sure our car isn’t tolled.
Outdoor patio had great view and food & drinks are good.
Appreciate their adherence to COVID 19 health recommendations. The entire staff was exceptional including Wade. The food was skillfully prepared by the chef. The patio seating provided a beautiful view of the famous Red Rock of Sedona.
We had a pretty poor experience at this restaurant last evening. We ordered the carnitas tacos and could not finish them because they were overcooked and hard to chew. Appetizer was very small for price. The service was ok but then our server got distracted with other customers and forgot about us. We had to flag him down to pay. Overall the value is NOT there. The view is killer but that’s about it.
The food was ok. It was very expensive for the quality. I wouldn’t eat here again. The views and property were great. Next time, I would just get a drink.
We had a great experience for our 5th anniversary. Server was very knowledgeable and personable, acknowledged our celebration and treated us to free dessert which was amazing! Definitely recommend!
Service was great. Patio seating was awesome and the view was amazing. Only downside is it sits up against a common area for hotel guests and there were some pretty loud groups. It’s near the pool so lots of foot traffic and for some reason there was a large dog loose running throughout the dining area. Overall a nice dinner just need to remind the guests who are in the common area to be more courteous.
The view was amazing and our service was fantastic. Only complaint was that the menu selection was extremely small.
Great food great service. Thanks!!!
Even with a reservation, I had a 20 minute wait. Setting is pretty, but the red rock water feature I sat beside was dirty and yuck.
I had the fresh catch— very fishy smelling and tasting scallops over virtually uncooked forbidden rice. Crazy prices. Just so disappointed.
Fabulous food, fabulous staff, fabulous views, highly recommend to locals and visitors. Never had bad experience. All the food is wonderfully prepared and taste great.
Our experience was hours before they were forced to close due to coronavirus donor experience may not be representative. But under the strain of the closure and the uncertainty of the future, the staff were upbeat, the food was outstanding and the restaurant was immaculate.
Meet our son who was in from Colorado for a great dinner.
It is too loud. Value verses price was not a match—too expensive for the quality.
Amazing bartenders. Great tequila selection. Fantastic wait staff.
Fun restaurant with fabulous drinks and great food
Was a great experience overall. We sat on the patio and was beautiful. Food was good and service was beyond excellent!
Beautiful outdoor seating, offered blankets and heaters. Food and cocktails were delicious and our waitress was amazing!
Good ambiance. Overpriced.
