Good place. Many place in Sedona are rated for their views only, but this place has good food.
It was worth the value.
perfect location.....and perfect time for romantic diner.......thx
All in all it was a nice place. Staff was very kind and the view outside was beautiful. However, we booked this restaurant based on the fact that it showed a brunch menu. When we arrived there was no brunch. We ordered from the lunch menu but it was a bit disappointing. My salad was very small and underdressed. My husband had a burger which he said was very good. I would go back but would go earlier for breakfast maybe
Great steaks. Roasted carrots were barely cooked. Really small scoops of ice cream. Nice waiter, but slow service. Not really worth the high price.
The day time view of the red rocks is spectacular. Food was fresh and creative. Osso bucco was fork tender and a large serving. Service is not pretentious and seems authentically sincere.
Wonderful atmosphere (beautiful view of mountains outside eating), great service! Margaritas were exceptional.. roasted corn appetizer is worthy of driving 100 miles for! Everything was wonderful!
Our waiter, Ryan, was great, very helpful and personable. The view and atmosphere are the strong points. Whether you dine inside or out, the trees and red rocks are visible. This restaurant services mostly guests of the hotel, as it is tucked, so it does not attract people passing by. The food was a bit disappointing. Though the chicken sandwich was smothered with cheese, avocado and bacon, the chicken was a bit dry. The Crabmeat roll was okay, bland and not that tasty.
Delicious food and wonderful service!
Beautiful views from the patio at Sunset. Food, service and ambience were excellent.
We had seen great reviews so perhaps our expectations were too high. Our food was warm but not hot.
Carnitas taco app was not hot, some of the carnitas was very over cooked and difficult to bite through and the tortillas were inconsistent. One soft, one very hard. So a mixed bag. Grilled corn was very good but not too hot. Soup was very good and hot but entrees were tepid. The mains were good but not as good as they could have been and should have been. We did not raise as none of us wanted to have the disruption to our meal.
We are outside by the fire...the food and atmosphere were incredible!
The food was OK but terribly overpriced. Drinks were very good but again $15 /margarita the kids menu priced items individually which I didn't realize.
Great location away from busyness of Sedona main drag. Decent food, excellent service and great spot for the dogs.
Visiting from out of town with a friend.
The service was quite slow on the evening we dined at SaltRock and when our server finally showed up to take our order, he didn’t pace the food out into appetizers/main dishes, so everything we ordered came at once. While we didn’t dine in the outside deck, I am sure it is quite lovely during the day or warm evenings. Overall, the food was decent, but probably a better spot for lunch or drinks and appetizers.
Very accommodating staff
Excellent food and great service. Dining outside in the shade with red rock views makes for a memorable experience.
I am mexican, so southwest kitchen for tacos de carnitas or torta ahogada is a kind of a joke for me.
The restaurant was beautiful with a lovely outdoor seating area. Our table was ready upon arrival and the server was friendly and very knowledge. The food was excellent.
The view was great (until sun went down) and the osso buco and filet where absolutely delicious!! My wife kept eating my white beans, so our server (Jane, ask for her) brought a (side) bowl (that my wife continued to devour!!). It was easy to "tip away" for this delightful experience
Outstanding experience-lovely mountain view-exquisite food-perfect margarita-and a wonderful, server, Janice, who made us feel at home-highly recommended!
Absolutely lovely location a d the food was excellent. Highly recommend it for a sunset and a margarita (sun devil was the best). Had a salad and added steak to it, the chef cooked the steak perfectly. My partner regretted not getting steak after seeing how perfectly executed it was.
A terrific dining experience from start to finish. Food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. Dining out in the patio with view of the mountains is the best.
Food was delicious and view was spectacular but the service was lackluster. Super slow and it was 2 pm so half the tables were empty.
Jim and I enjoyed the free valet parking , the service at this beautiful restaurant was superior.
The view from the outside patio was excellent!
Jim had the fillet mignon with mashed potatoes and steamed carrots, I had the soup of the day and an amazing spring salad with crushed hazelnuts on top, the dressing was so delicious. We will return often!
Fantastic service and delicious food. Rachel was our server and her timing was perfect throughout a leisurely lunch. Would recommend them highly.
They made our anniversary special with a dessert and a card! It was so thoughtful and we appreciate it!
The food was amazing! The view was spectacular! My autumn margarita was fabulous!
Both food and service were quite good, although the cocktails were a little disappointing (one of their five signature cocktails wasn't available, and the replacement I chose was a bit weak). The view of the red rocks is wonderful, particularly at sunset. The major negative was the noise and activity level. Outdoor seating is located between two arms of the hotel, with hotel common outdoor areas/pool adjacent, making for a lot of noise and distractions. Not what I would call calm or romantic.
We loved our dinner at SaltRock. We were staying at the hotel, so it was very convenient. Everything we ordered was delicious! My husband has the osso bucco and I had the branzino. Both were spot on!
Service was good and our server gave some great hiking suggestions. My husband orders vodka martinis, which were absolutely delicious! My only criticism is that the mark up on wine is pretty atrocious, but that’s not surprising.
I was dining alone because I was traveling for business and was hoping to sit outside but was told the weather wasn’t good to sit out there even though there were other people sitting outside and available tables. I should have been a bit more insistent because I was sat at a 2 top on the edge farthest from the outdoor patio and the sound echoed through and the view was the host stand and the open kitchen.
Food was amazing but a bit pricey for what I had which was a watermelon and burrata salad, a margarita, and carnitas tacos (4 street taco sized). Again, the food was amazing, presented well and had great flavor. But the portions were small and my bill was >$50 before the tip.
Service was great and I enjoyed my server. Would go back if there was an opportunity to sit outside with friends/family. After dinner, I walked out on the outdoor patio to see the view and it was spectacular which is what I went for in the first place.
In a town with many great restaurants, Saltrock is a shade less appealing than some others. The food is somewhat uninspired. The view is magnificent and service was fine.
It was great . Wade was amazing!
This was the first restaurant we ate at on first visit to Sedona. We ate outdoors and the view was spectacular. The pool was below and it was a bit distracting when hotel guests walked through the outdoor dining area.
The service was great and food delicious.
Food stands up to the high bar of the Amara resort. Quickly became one of our favorites.
Awesome service, delicious food, and beautiful view. I had the osso bucco and it was out of this world!
Delicious meal!! Great service!!! Beautiful ambiance!! Going back tomorrow night!!
Beautiful venue tucked away by the creek. Everything is house made and is very very good. Osso buco and salmon entrees were very good. The mushroom soup was outstanding. And we enjoyed live music there too.
Everything was ok, but missed some of the former menu items like the guacamole that made Saltrock more special.
