Located at the top of the Ossington strip, Salt wine bar offers a modern progressive approach to Iberian/Canadian tapas. Salt is a bustling, cozy, communal tapas bar with great energy. Our guests enjoy artisanal cheeses, Iberian charcuterie and an excellent variety of small plate dishes. Chef Dave Kemp is strongly committed to using seasonal and local products whenever possible. Our cellar contains an extensive list of Portuguese and Spanish wines which complement each and every dish.

Very expensive for a wine bar. 5 oz glasses were 15$ minimum. Make it more affordable and it will be much busier

Delicious cocktails, good service, outstanding Wagyu burgers and dulce de leche ice cream. Piri piri fried chicken was also very crispy and juicy. The rest of the food was very good, not exceptional, and overpriced. At about half of what we paid this would have been 5 stars. I know everything has gotten very expensive but going out for dinner is becoming out of reach for many people.

Have been a few times and the food is good. However, I had a really disappointing service the most recent time. No waiters ever came by our table, and every single time to order I had to flag someone down. Meanwhile, other tables around us were getting service. The “manager” gave a half-assed excuse about the kitchen being busy, but to have not one single waiter ever come over to check on us was extremely frustrating and disappointing. This used to be on my list of recommendations I’d give to friends, but I think I’ll be taking it off that list - there are way better restaurants out there in Toronto.

Always love the options for food at Salt. Such great wine pairing options as well. Portion sizes are good - most dishes were nice for sharing with 4, but one (duck croquettes) was quite small. Really enjoyed everything including the service which was attentive without it being overbearing.
