We were very disappointed with our experience. Our appetizer arrived before our drinks. It looked great but 2 of the 4 sirloin pieces were very fatty. When our drinks arrived my cucumber martini had cracked black pepper mixed in which was not in the description nor to my liking. I mentioned this to the server and he made no offer to get me something else. The next dish was an eggplant and ricotta combination that, similar to the first dish, looked great but the eggplant was tough. We mentioned this issue to the server and he did not respond. At this point we decided to not order another course, pay our check and leave. The kitchen paid attention to the presentation of the dishes but not the quality of the meat or the cooking process. For a restaurant with upscale pricing the experience was a let down.
Food is pretty flavorful! If you visit you have to try the lamp lollipops !!!! Wish it was a main dish - amazing ! Will be back for sure.
Great atmosphere . We stayed late and partied until 2 am
They recommended a dessert special called the lumberjack that was mediocre at best. When we got the bill, we saw that it cost $28!!! For a dessert?!? We told the server we were not impressed with it and she couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t comp it. Super disappointing. We usually love this place, but this experience left a bad taste in our mouth (literally). Won’t be going back for dinner anytime soon.
The food and service was awesome.
Patrick was very attentive
so much noise. "music" you can't exchange a word with your dining partner. Good for people who don't want to talk
WE had a fantastic time at Salt7. The food was delectable, fresh and we experienced very timely service. WE tried the short ribs which were succulent, the rock shrimp, and crab cake. It was all fantastic. The drink menu was innovative and was refreshing. We stayed past dinner time for the lounge scene and enjoyed ourselves to current popular music.
Service was horrendous. I asked waiter for extra dressing and a half an hour later (when I reminded him again) he told me he forgot. Food was meh. It used to be a good spot to eat. It’s a fun bar but I’d eat elsewhere on the Strip. Meal was underwhelming and the waiter did not se like he liked his job.
Chefs new menu was not to our liking. Salt used to be a favorite.... not anymore!
Felt very warm and comfortable. From beginning to end.
For a party of 6 2 entree’s was very good the other 4 was terrible, cold food the eggplant rubber and cauliflower tasteless would not recommend or go back. The first time in Delray Beach that we were so disappointed in a restaurant
The food was absolutely top rate. Everything we ate was simply amazing and demicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, sliced and beautifully presented with unique and fantastic sauces. Oysters were fresh and yummy. The veggies were all so great. We saved room for a chocolate dessert too. I would highly recommend!
Amazing short rib! Great service!!
Great service, good food, fun vibe
Good food and service. Would go back .
Arrived early and were able to get seated. That was a plus. The atmosphere was strange people in their 50-60’s dressed like they thought they were 20 . Some workers were not dressed appropriately.
Very limited menu but I thought there would be specials no literally 1 choice, I ordered it and it was very good my entire party (6) were sick the next day . Sorry probably won’t go back or recommend
Not great. My meal was fine but the experience left me with a bad taste.
We had a 6 yr old with us that has shellfish allergies.
They did agree to just make pasta with sauce for her.
When the bill arrived we were charged $21 for a shrimp and pasta dish.
We did mention it to the waiter and he went to the manager who took $2 off!!!
This was so wrong in many ways and it could have been handled much better.
It was an early reservation so the restaurant was no where near full.
He could have offered to pack up the shrimp for us to take home, at least $10 off. Anything but the $2 which was an insult.
I have a large group of customers in Delray about 4 times a year. I will be looking for a new place!
This was a bad decision on the managers part.
Family in town, wanted an outdoor Atlantic Ave experience.
Great atmosphere, fantastic food, fun people watching and perfect service...attentive without being overly intrusive.
Slow service. Food was decent nothing special.
Best steak I ever ate ! Not cheap but worth the price. Very good wine selection and delicious veggies.
Server was great! Food was amazing
No wonder this place is always packed!!! Salt 7 has the best atmosphere on Atlantic Ave. The steak literally melts in your mouth, and sides like dishes like the Whipped Yukon Golds and Duck Fat Fries make us very happy as they slowly narrow the path of blood to our heart. This place reminds me of the movie Gastby everyone is beautiful and happy. Salt 7 is a great place to meet up with friends and unload or bring your loved one for a romantic night.
Excellent service. The bone-in filet was amazing.
We used to love this restaurant....The recent menu changes were a bad move, the wait staff has become very sales oriented (in an off-putting way), and the kitchen is cutting costs by replacing things like the typical serving of bread before the meal to serving of bland popcorn. They’ve lost their hospitality and their attractive menu items.
Excellent steaks and fish. Went for Valentines Day and really enjoyed everything.
Very trendy place with eclectic menu. Our server was very informative and the hostess was super sweet. SALT has a modern feel and they turn into a lounge at night. We left just as soon as the place was turning into a nightclub so we will be back for that also.
The place is very loud but a lot of fun. The food was great and service was on point.
We've been here before but this time was the best. The food and service has done a 180 from the last time. The new chef has really stepped his game up. Try lobster cappuccino and steaks. You won't be disappointed.
Very good food. They did a great job handling our party. We showed up late and they kept our reservation and still uphold their professionalism. We apologized for being late and next time we will be on time. Thank you.
First time at this restaurant and was with a group of friends. The food was great. Noise level was a bit loud for my taste. Service was good.
The food and drinks are excellent as well as the service. The staff is the best of the best. The noise in the main restaurant is ridiculous, but the other room or outside is fantastic. The price is way too expensive, but for a special occasion , it can be tolerated.
Chad was awesome and we will ask for him again
Waiter was wonderful
We met friends for a Saturday night dinner. Food and service were excellent. We arrived at 7PM just as they started to get busy. They have a very active bar area, so we were happy that our table was away from the bar, otherwise it would have been too noisy. My wife has a gluten allergy and they were very helpful in suggesting dishes that were either gluten free or could be modified. I would definitely recommend the restaurant.
Our server was very attentive to detail which complimented a delicious dining experience.
Great food but service needs some work
Wonderful service and food. David was our server however, he’s moving back to Boston in 3 days! Big loss. Will definitely return as were locals and not seasonal.
First time my wife dined here...shared 2 appetizers and both ordered the filet mignon with a side of the mac & cheese. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the entire meal was great. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Everything we ordered was great and our server from the UK was the best in Delray !!
Only think that is disappointing about Salt is that they changed the menu to resemble a steak house. I was expecting to go out for Sushi and rolls like the old menu. Do we really need another steak house in DRB ?
David our wait staff was charming !
