Always a great experience here! The service is exceptional, from the host to the wait staff to the bartenders - all are great. We’ve loved every dish we have tried - especially the pork belly appetizer and filet entree! Definitely worth visiting.

This is one of our favorite date night places. Generally, we enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail with an appetizer before our main course. The farm to table food selection is superb. We always enjoy the ambiance. The wait staff is attentive and the manager’s attention to detail is top notch. If you haven’t tried SALT, it’s a must!

Everything from the greeting at the front door to the food was absolutely incredible. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible meal and first rate service.

The dining experience was phenomenal. The rabbit was delicious as well as the baked Alaska. The staff was amazing. If you’re looking for something different or a little get away you definitely will feel like you’re somewhere out of the valley.

The experience was amazing! I love that the food was not over seasoned, it was cooked to perfection and the staff was incredible. Aside from the food itself, the waiter is what really set this place apart from other spots.

Sirachi shrimp is always devine!!! Beets and macaroni and cheese sides were delicious. Craft cocktails and happy hour are very nice.

Had the Lavender cocktail, Baby Bibb salad, beef filet, and a nice cab by the glass. Everything was excellent. It was an easy night for the dishwashers because I ate every morsel. Enjoyed chatting with the manager Martin throughout the meal. Highly recommend, best meal I have had when visiting the Rio Grande Valley.

The service was beyond our expectations! Attentive without being overbearing even though it seemed that the entire staff waited on us. We had a need for nothing during the entire 2+ hour evening.

Cocktails were reasonably priced and delicious. I especially appreciated the Whisk(e)y selection available.

Our food was exceptional! The Sriracha Shrimp starter and the Grilled Pear Salad were shared and were both mouth wateringly delicious. Our entrees were the Picanha, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the Deep-Fried Pork Shank served with amazing sauces. Sides of choice were half orders of the Brussel Sprouts and the Mac & Cheese. Both were very well done but the Mac & Cheese is probably the best I have ever tasted! We finished our dining experience with the Fall Special (Pumpkin) Baked Alaska and words fail in just how yummy this dish was for both of us!

While everything was exceptional, the one thing that I appreciated more than all was that at no time did we feel rushed through our meal. This, along with the uncommon level of customer service will long leave an indelible impression on both of us and an example of comparison in the future.

This is mine and my wife’s favorite place to eat in Mcallen and it never disappoints us when we go!! We love going to salt and we can’t thank the staff enough for always taking care of us!!

Salt created an authentically relaxing and comforting environment. The service was phenomenal and allowed you to have genuine conversations with the servers. The servers were kind and gracious. We had an amazing time with even better food.

It was finally nice to go out for dinner we has been actively avoiding eating in. With the weather being so nice we opted for a table in the patio. Great wine great food and great service (Sam was on the spot with the wine and food recommendations)

We welcomed a new employee to our team at BBB Industries, LLC. Although all three of us have been to SALT previously, the safe and sanitized environment, combined with outstanding service and food, made it a wonderful experience. Ian, Nadia, Rachel, RJ and Tanya all made us feel at home. What a great team!

Had a very nice quiet dinner and drinks

Great service by the team. Loved the atmosphere they created. Unfortunately food was below expectations. The duck was poorly prepared. Very gamey taste. Scallops had weird pairing. Side dishes were actually very good (beet roots and brussel sprouts). Probably an off night for the kitchen.

Celebrated our anniversary at Salt and the service was great and the food was outstanding. We even got complimentary champagne from the manager. We will be going again soon.
