The philosophy at SALT is simple; a belief that the best food travels the shortest distance from farm to table, that menus should change with the seasons and that the locally sourced ingredients, combined with European technique and innovative thinking make for a truly remarkable experience. Chef Bradford Heap and his staff have made a commitment to source local, organic and fresh ingredients whenever possible. The menu reflects this mind-set, simple, yet elegant and delicious. The wines, while sourced all over the world offer our guests some classic profiles, while introducing them to some new and exciting choices as well as a pre-prohibition cocktails with a twist. Approachable, but sophisticated. Enjoy!

Nothing special. Slow service. Very average food. If you want a notable experience goto Flagstaff. There are much better restaurants in boulder to spend your money at.

Daniel, our waiter, was attentive. Cocktail drinks were excellent.

The pork belly with apple slaw and mashed celeriac root was AMAZING. Our waiter suggested we try the fried Brussels sprouts as an appetizer and once I took my first bite I knew it was going to be a tasty evening. Seriously, my burps even tasted good afterwards. Best meal of my life.

We love Salt - such stellar food, service and ambiance. Tonight we discovered there is a basement as we were seated down there for dinner - very nice. Dinner at Salt is always a great experience!

We had a great lunch: Tom's burger and the Power Bowl. Both were fantastic. Waiter was there when needed but didn't interrupt our conversation... stellar service. Thanks Salt!

Great spot. Had lunch and dinner the next night! Like to try different things when traveling but this was too good to pass up!

Despite the above answer that I would recommend this restaurant I must add that the experience "was nothing special". Things were "good" but I wouldn't recommend it to any true foodie friends. However, if you needed to find a decent meal this place would suffice.

SALT was fun and delicious. Our waitress was extremely upbeat and attentive. I had the seafood risotto and it was absolutely divine. The sauce was perfect and the seafood very fresh. My husband had the Cioppino and he also said his sauce was out of this world and also commented how fresh the shrimp and mussels tasted. We loved our dinner. Desserts were great too. Chocolate cake was light and scrumptious and chocolate salted caramel tart yum too. We sat by the front window looking out at Pearl Street. Lovely evening. We recommend Salt for a fun dinner out with very good food. They have vegetarian entrees as well.

It was not a good dining experience. Our cokes were watered down, my husband's fries weren't done. The site for them shows two $ and it is very, very expensive for what you get. My chicken was just o.k. In their behalf, our friend enjoyed her selection. I think it was some kind of beef. The other three of us did not.
