I would hit it again!!
We both had the Organic Power Bowls and the Flatbread appetizer. The Power Bowls were a disappointment in that the were mostly kale and spinach with little quinoa and beans as described. Also, the salad had too much dressing and bordered on soggy. The flatbread had delicious toppings, but was under baked and doughy. The wait am staff was friendly and informative. Ambiance was very pleasing
Excellent food, excellent service
Always a great time at Salt! Accommodated dietary restrictions without issue and food was yummy!
Very disappointed that they discontinued the polenta fries with the hamburger. Will not go there again. They also need to stock some name brand gin, like Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray instead of the funky boutique gins they have.
Just an incredible overall experience. I would have to say the best service came from the two women at the table when we first walked in they were so kind, friendly, courteous and helpful.
Poor service and the food took very long
We had the mussels and the Brussels sprouts for appetizers and the chicken and power bowl salad for entrees. The food was delicious as expected. The owner came and have a chat with us and the staff was friendly and attentive. Really nice dinner spot inside or for outdoor seating. Highly recommended
We went on a Friday night and sat outside which was lovely. The menu is not large but offers a lot of variety for any mood or diet. I opted for salad and appetizers since they are all so tasty. My husband had the fish special which he greatly enjoyed.
My husband and I had a fantastic outdoor meal! Or server was bright and attentive, and our whole evening was flawless.
Our group had a great experience! The wait staff was experienced and professional, the food was outstanding, and the cocktails were exceptional. We plan to go again soon!
Great food, service and view from a window seat. Forgot my wallet and staff was great about returning it!
This was the first time we've gone down to Pearl Street since Covid. Salt has always been on our Top-25 list, so we decided to start there. We both began with the Tomato soup, which Salt is known for. My wife ordered the chicken for her main (which she liked) and I had the gnocchi bolognese (which was more than I could eat and could have had more bolognese). My wife really enjoyed the "Golden Bow" cocktail and I had a nice rose and a glass of Montepulciano that matched well with the gnocchi. The service was excellent, as usual, and we enjoyed our return to Salt.
Great experience! Sat outside on a very beautiful evening and enjoyed.
Two of the 6 entrees were no longer available at 6:00 on a Monday leaving an already slim menu even slimmer.
We were so disappointed; SALT was one of our staple restaurant rotations in Boulder and my kiddo's fave. She was very excited to return after the Covid hiatus and chose this restaurant for her birthday. She ordered kids pasta -- under cooked after waiting for nearly 1/2 hr, had to send back and reorder. The menu is much smaller, and the two other dishes we had were just so so. Not the quality of food that we are used to from this wonderful establishment.
Nice restaurant and service. Menu was very limited and quality was mediocre.
Delicious! Salt is back! We has the seafood stew and it was amazing!
THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FIRST NIGHTS OUT AFTER COVID AND WE HAD A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE AT SALT. BOTH OR OUR DINNER ENTRES WERE EXCEPTIONAL. THE MENU IS SMALLER AND MAYBE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE QUALITY. A WARM, ENGAGING WAITER ADDED TO THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE.
We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts for an appetizer. The chicken and lamb main dishes were good but we would try something different next time. We ate outside to soak up the great weather and ended up in a rain shower getting soaked. Over all a good experience. Would try it again.
Great waiter…starting raining outside and he was very gracious and offered us a comped glass of wine. Food was excellent too!
Sat us in basement with no other diners.
waitress was unknowledged re menu.
Overall bad ambiance and experience.
Great meal and Brandon was an excellent waiter.
Ordered a Grassphoppah Cider which are awesome, server did not know it was on the menu. Don’t remember the ftalbread having apples but over all it was sub par on my last visit.
A bit expensive for what we had
Had a great birthday dinner with our daughter and friend. Dustin and Max took care of us, perfect service. Food and wine were both very good and a good value.
Ironically, the food was quite salty.
Especially the mussels.
Food was meh! Drinks were watered down. Ordered two of the same drinks and they were two different colors. We were a party of six and three us ordered steaks and they were over cooked! Ambience was great but will not be going back!
Excellent food, excellent service...it is our favorite restaurant in Boulder!
Very disappointed in the quality of the food. And who puts kale in a Cesar salad?
Very small menu, few choices, also were out of some items
We missed having Salt open for several months. It was a treat to be back. The menu changes frequently based on what fresh ingredients are available. The menu is not extensive, but there is something for anyone. Service was attentive. Food was delicious!
My wife and I had a delicious meal with a very nice and attentive server. It is a place I’d return to but I think they’d benefit from a few added choices on the menu.
Would have been nicer if there was some space between the edge of the restaurant outdoor area and our table - felt a little like we were sitting in the middle of Pearl Street foot traffic.
Inexperienced staff, we asked questions about types of cheese due to food intolerance and the answers were not only incorrect but they changed the order we placed according to what they had available without consulting us.
Food was incredibly bland. We had the power salad, leek flatbread, gnocchi bolognese and vegetable cassoulet. Everything was unseasoned. We had to ask for salt and pepper. No herbs present in anything. This trip was us giving Salt another chance after other underwhelming experiences in the past and this was by far our most disappointing visit yet.
Outdoor area was set up nice and server was polite and attentive. It was only the food that makes us not wanting to return here again.
Would not go back. All college wait staff very inexperienced food was average at best
I and our friend shared Cacciucco, a seafood stew that had a tomato base, a bit of spice and was excellent. It came with crispy toasts to mop up the tasty sauce. My wife had the special of the day, Shrimp with Polenta and slices of sausage. She removed the sausage to eat later and enjoyed her shrimp with a marvelous basil ailoi sauce. Also provided was a romesco sauce for those who like a little more spice. And the dish came with crisp tender snap peas as well. A truly delectable entree. Our friend and I drank a delicious local IPA draft beer and my wife had a nice dry prosecco. Dessert was salted caramel chocolate pie as well as chocolate mousse cake. Both scrumptious. Our waitress, Aubrey, was delightful and very accommodating and thoughtful. The rest of the staff were also top notch. We ate outside on Pearl St. in a lovely June evening, and though there was some noise, it was not too intrusive, just lively. SALT is a wonderful restaurant and we look forward to going back to try some of their other dishes.
