   We’ve been enjoying Salt for the last 5 years and it’s changed…a lot. And while I agree change is good, this last time it has changed so much that it has almost made it unrecognizable. Dinning should be enjoyable & adventure, but this was missing the mark. We might need a break from Salt.

   Great food and service. One table outrageously loud like in a beer hall. Didn’t spoil but Ritz should tamp down the noise. Several tables were annoyed but nothing was done to make the experience more in keeping with a Ritz fine dining experience.

   My wife and I love going to Salt whenever we stay at the Ritz. It is by far my favorite place to eat. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and are very attentive. The chefs are world class.

   Folks at the table next to us were on cell phone loudly for too long. Entrees could have used more vegetables or have offering of a salad. The food we had was excellent and the service was also excellent.

    I love that you always feel like family here. The Michelin star quality menu is amazing as well as the seamless service, sincerely appreciate that they have a dress code for men but would suggest limiting children in the dining room. Chef Okan and Phil Huber run the best restaurant in Florida, honorable mention to David and Malu.

    Salt is a world class fine dining restaurant with an exquisite menu curated by a 3 Michelin Star Chef. The subtle service touches are greatly appreciated along with the breathtaking dining room that requires gentlemen to adhere to a standard dress code (no shorts or flip flops). In a world full of steak houses, we were inspired by this extraordinarily unique privilege.

    Anthony was a wonderful server. He knew the menu inside and out. His recommendations were perfect. We love Salt and look forward to seeing y’all again! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the grand marnier soufflé was to die for. Excellent!

    We dined for our 20th Anniversary. Shana our server was very attentive ans knowledgeable of all menu items. She made great drink and food recommendations. Phil Huber, Manager, welcomed us and checked in on us during our dinner. We had oysters, pasta with truffles, lobster, wagu and a suffle for dessert. The blackberry smoke drink is a must have!     Our expectations were very high, and Salt did not disappoint. We started with cocktails - the bartender expertly prepared exactly the taste profile i explained. Our veteran server, Matt, was exceptional. He gave detailed descriptions of the food, which made it much easier to choose. We settled on the foie gras appetizer, and the halibut and lamb entrees. Every detail from the bread, the salt choices, presentation of the entrees, special dessert offerings and the rose were perfect! We also appreciated our time visiting with the GM. Look forward to returning on our next visit to Amelia!

    We were blown away by our experience at Salt. Staying at the Ritz Amelia Island there are several restaurants to choose from. We decided to try each restaurant and Salt did not disappoint. The service was amazing - attentive and authentic. We were dining with our toddler and knew we only had a limited amount of time to enjoy our meal. Everyone was super accommodating and had our food out quickly…all of which was toddler approved. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts was spot on. If we return to Amelia Island, we’ll definitely be back.

    Unquestionably one of the finest restaurants in the country! Fine, exquisite dining at its absolute best— with service, ambiance and style to match. We’ve dined at several Michelin starred restaurants that cannot compare to our experience last night. Of course, being blessed with a top chef from a New York three starred Michelin stalwart doesn’t hurt. Salt has earned its own kudos and deserves many more. Moreover, how can you beat a fine dining mecca with incredible water views at one of the great island hotels on the planet. See you soon, Salt!

    Delicious food (oysters, Wagyu and lobster were all fantastic) with an attentive staff; they even gave us a complementary cocktail due to a slight delay in taking our order. The guitarist was wonderful (even mixed in Michael Jackson and TLC’s No Scrubs with several patrons happily humming along to the music).
