Good food. Good service. Fresh guamacole was amazing.
Food and service were excellent. The parking in that area of Rockville Center can be some what difficult. Obviously not the fault of the restaurant, but just be aware.
Great food and awesome service. I loved every experience I had here for the first time. Definitely would recommend anyone here.
The ambiance and food were good. I ate one out of three enchiladas and nibbled at the rice and beans. I had a full plate of food which the waiter was supposed to wrap for me. My boyfriend also had food to bring home. I was sorely disappointed the next day when I opened the take home containers to find that none of the three containers had any of my food. It was thrown away. Not cool. Just really poor service.
Empanadas and guacamole to start were fantastic. Jalapeño cucumber margarita was delicious! Short rib tacos weren’t great, a bit over cooked. Dessert churros were amazing! Service was great, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!
We are from out of town and selected this restaurant at random - could not have had a better experience. Food was excellent and our server very nice.
There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants in the area.
The food was really good. We had the cheese quesadillas for an appetizer which were delicious. For our entrees we had chicken fajitas and the trio fajitas which came with chicken, steak and shrimp. The fajitas were flavorful and enough to fill you up. Would def recommend.
Best food ever
Burritos were fantastic
Drinks on par
Overall will be back .
We have been to this restaurant many times and are never disappointed! The food is fresh, not sloppy like so many other Mexican restaurants. Try the Mexican Nachos; they are a meal in and of themselves. The bar can get quite busy and that's when the noise level goes up. If you're looking for quieter times, get there before 7 pm.
Great food and service! One of our go to's!
Always a great time at Salsa Mexicana! Food is always fresh and delicious and the service always outstanding.
The meal was amazing. Dessert could use some work. Definitely will be back.
Average Mexican restaurant. Too long of a wait with a reservation.
The drinks, food, and service were excellent. The high noise level made it difficult to talk.
We enjoyed our meals, our service was very personable and made our first experience very pleasurable.
The service was great and the food and drink were absolutely delicious! We got our food within minutes. I would definitely come back to this restaurant. The art and decor looks beautiful... The staff is also very great.
Salsa Mexicana has great food and drinks, but the restaurant is very loud so it is extremely hard to hear each other. Our waitress even had difficulty hearing our orders. The restaurant is also very dark.
Food was delicious and great service as always. Really enjoy the chips and salsa trio!
All was great but I just don’t like getting my entree when I am still eating my appetizer (even though our waitress told us she would put our order on hold until we were finished).....otherwise a great venue!!
This place used to never disappoint-from the service to the food to the portions. But came here for brunch and didn’t have the best experience. The service was shaky and there was only two other people there. I got a bowl and it was okay but the portion was not the size of a bowl at allll. The serving size was so tiny for the price. I’m sad to say but this place isn’t worth it anymore.
The place was so noisy we couldn't even talk during the meal. Food was so so. Had the short rib tacos. Loaded with salt and I love salt but this was too much. Service was spotty.
Good place to go with the kids. Food was mediocre to the adults but the kids ate everything. I would go back to get my kids to eat!
Service was great. Food was good. Really enjoyed the guacamole & tacos but the lobster quesadilla was just ok. The Mai Tai cocktail was excellent but the White Sangria was ok. Will go there again.
Food was delicious and a lot of options to choose from.
Great server, checked on us multiple times. Good food. Fair priced. Quick service.
The food was outstanding. Service was wonderful.
Drinks also great. Cant wait to go back.
Rum mohito was terrible, my wife didn’t want to request a new one.
Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and plentiful. Loved it
Felt rushed , food was ok. Service was good but everything was way too fast. Better than Mesita across the street.
The food was great. Service was great. Portions were large especially for a Mexican place. The only complaint was it was a bit loud in there and hard to talk...
Our Server Cannon, and, the the Busboys were very attentive and personable. Would return.
Our server was excellent and helpful although he was working the bar and tables
Terrific bartender / waiter - Great personality, as well as a great server. We will definitely return.
This wasn’t the first time going to Salsa Mexicana, but it was the first time going to brunch there. You get to choose from the lunch OR the brunch menu, so there are many choices. The decor is edgy Mexican and there is ample seating. For starters you have to go with the guac and chips. This totally passed our approval. Try the classic margarita or mojito because you’re in a Mexican restaurant! Many of us chose the burrito bowl, which is essentially a burrito without the tortilla. Great flavor and very filling. The service was a bit slow and inattentive, but, hey, brunch is not supposed to be rushed, so all was okay. Prices were reasonable, and this is one of only a few places that offers brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Give it a try, you’ll plan to go back!
As always, greeted with a smile. Lobster quesadillas on point as usual. Tried the beef empanada special, which were AWESOME!
This was my second visit to Salsa Mexicana and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with the service just as friendly. Our waiter was great, both in attentiveness, and recommendations. My daughter and I started with the guacomoli dip which was fairly spicy (as requested) and it was great. We then ordered the salmon special which was delicious! We were there on a week night and although it was still busy for a weeknight, the noise level was low to moderate, though when I was there on a Sat. it was high. My only minor complaint was that it was a cold night and when the door opened and was left open by some incoming customers, it was uncomfortable. However, I plan to go back often.
The atmosphere was cool, relaxing, and beautiful. Service was great and the food was delicious. I would definitely come here again. Definitely make reservations.
While this restaurant has always been a favorite, it’s becoming harder and harder to park. The noise level has also increased to a level that is not possible to take any longer. I am sorry to say that we can no longer visit Salsa Mexicana any longer. It was a hard decision.
