Salinas Ratings and Reviews
Congratulations on creating such a enchanting sexy space filled with knowledgeable yet humble and genuine caring team of employees. Food unique, creative, and beautifully executed.
I own restaurant on the west coast and know how hard this effort is to make it look seamless. Bravo!
A lovely dining room, good music that somehow did not drown out the conversation, friendly service and delicious food made it an all around excellent dining experience. The white anchovy with brandade toasts were a perfect balance…enjoyed the pulpo, fideos special and even a simple eggplant dish with pistachios was deliciously flavorful. Next time I'll go with a carnivorous friend and sample some of the jambon and chorizo dishes offered. Sangria was unusually good and not too sweet. Only complaint: no wines under $70-plus, which is an unfortunate limitation. After dining there, did some reading and saw that I knew the chef from the old Meigas days. Liked his cooking then and like it now.
I was a little disappointed by the food. There wasn't one dish that I really loved, and several that I actually didn't like much. Lovely ambience, slow but friendly service, great cocktails, but I wouldn't go back when there are so many great choices in the area.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food but wait staff should learn from Danny Meyer! The customer should be treated like royalty. They came to remove plates several times while we were eating! The waiter didn't seem to want to answer questions about the menu. And when we offered feedback to owner, he was similarly ungracious. Too bad.
I was blown away by Salina's. The food was absolutely incredible and the vibe was unlike anything i have experienced. I go out to eat a lot and love to try new places, and this was one of the most chic and well-designed restaurants I have been to in a while. The food was OUTstanding.
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and loved Salinas -cozy but upscale the retractable roof on a beautiful night added to the ambience and the food was delicious and our servers were knowledgeable and very attentive I would highly recommend it
Had a great dinner! The restaurant is beautiful and romantic, especially the garden room where we dined. Our server gave us excellent advice on how much to order. We had 4 small plates, the croquettes, arugula salad, tuna, and pork belly- all delicious. We then had the seafood and duck rice dishes and they were equally excellent. An all round excellent evening!! This is a particularly good choice for a romantic dinner. Gorgeous huge flower arrangements! Also appreciate that it's not too loud. Highly recommended
The smell of fresh flowers as you enter the restaurant is enough to make you never want to leave, and then as you enter farther into the restaurant, you see beautiful bouquets of fresh flowers everywhere you turn. On top of that, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable. Perfect spot for a romantic date with someone special. My favorite restaurant!
Stop calling this a place to get tapas. They have limited selection of small dishes. They are good but push you to get a main which is also very limited. The back room is beautiful but despite requesting we were put in the hall seating before the back. My seat was constantly kicked by service staff. Wine was great but pricey.
This restaurant's quality came as a surprise to me. I picked it by location and I didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to surpass most of the restaurants in the area. I recommend it very highly. The food seemed both authentically Spanish and at the same time quite innovative. Very few restaurants around here have a noise level suitable for conversation and this one did. It also is very pretty.
Picked this place based on the yelp reviews and I think I missed something. The #1 appeal seems to be the ambience but when we were seated (had 8pm reservation) we barely walked into the restaurant and she sat us at the 1st table possible, closest to kitchen. I asked if we could be seated elsewhere or in the garden that I heard was the best part and she said nothing was open. So we sat, still a nice romantic atmosphere but all the amazing roses that you see in the pics were not visible from our table. Then multiple groups or couples after us got sat in the back.....i felt like we weren't good enough or something. So, besides that our server was great, everyone was very professional and food was delicious. Not a large menu. We got 2 tapas (pork belly, croquettes), a beer, bread plate, shared a payaya dish and flan for dessert. Bill came to $100 which was expected. I think it is lovely for a romantic dinner, especially if you enjoy Spanish fare. I just wish we had a better table near all the roses we went there for.
We ended our evening with a fantastic dinner at Salinas, delicious food, good wine list, comfortable dinning area with beautiful flowers for decoration. Great service, good prices, ambience that invite you to have a great conversation. Recommended to all my friends.
This was a great pick. The ambience was fantastic, noise was just right, the waiters bothered just enough time, the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the environment was very cozy. I couldn't have asked for a better place.
I'd definitely recommend the stake. I'll warn you now that the stake was $135 but I can assure you that was really great two people and just enough to fill us. We also had the lamb tartare, which I never had before. I'm glad I took that. It was out of this world.
Everything at this place was great. Again, a bit pricey. So even I won't be able to go there as often. But on different kinds of occasions, I'd definitely make my way back at this place.
