Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 4:30pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 4:30pm - 11:00pm, Sunday: 3:00pm - 10:00pm
We love Saketumi along with Tammy the owner. It's fresh, full of flavor and a menu for everyone. The ambiance is great and overall - they are amazing
I ordered the hibachi filet and shrimp. The veggies and shrimp were great, but the filet was sirloin, and when I sent it back, it became flank steak. My dining companion’s sushi and sashimi were very good.
A good place for Sushi, but other food ordered was not good at all - This was a ‘one n done’ for us!
Great japanese restsurant. We had sushi and tampura all very good. Took the california , spicy tuna, eel and cucamber and one of the specials+ vegetable tampura. It was enough for 4 people. Service was outstanding - Nathan did a great job. Enjoyed our evening very much.
While the food was fair, service lacked any energy and open concept of dining area allowed for noisy dining experience.
Friendly staff; great waiter; excellent quality food; loved the menu; pretty ambiance.
Good food but pricey.
I have driven past this restaurant so many times, and finally decided to try it. What an amazing place. Great drinks and wine list. I loved the Thai lemongrass soup (very spicy), but great if you like spicy. I also enjoyed the Chesapeake roll and the sea bass. My husband loved the duck. Huge portions. We'll definitely be back.
We are regular diners at Saketumi. It’s a favorite
because my husband likes sushi and have many other choices. My favorite is the wokked Mango Chicken.
Great tasting food. We had Sushi and a Prix Fix dinner. great value.
We have on many occasions really enjoyed this place. Food is fresh and really good quality. We love the mimosas! It's a really fun place to enjoy great sushi and other Asian delights!
My first visit I expected to see more of an upscale dinning area. This was our 53rd anniversary and the table behind us was extremely loud and annoying . The waiter Nathan was excellent he had a great personality and knowledge of the menu. The rolls we ordered where excellent. the soup was excellent, but the main entree was disappointing. My wife ordered shrimp and steak, the steak to be cooked med. , but came out well done. Nathan reordered the steak, but by the time it was brought out to our table I was finished with my entree. This was a special occasion being our 53rd wedding anniversary and to have things go this wrong is disappointing. I do not know if I can recommend your restaurant to my friends and family.
P.S. The bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon we ordered was excellent.
Great food and great service!
Saketumi prepares excellent Sushi - we were very happy with the food and service. It was Mother's Day and the seating was quick and food was great.
We are new to the area (from NJ and NYC) and love Sushi - this met all of our expectations and more.
This is my go-to restaurant. It's especially good that you can make reservations, because places get crowded at the beach in season. We are not ones for lines and waits. Saketumi does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is great and the Cosmos are tops. Bravo!
Always good and reliable. Love their French martini and Wednesday is bento box night. Always great!
We always have good experiences at Saketumi. This time the service was even better than usual and the sushi and bento boxes great! Only issue was that someone brought our 2nd course before we were ready. But it’s a very good restaurant and rarely disappoints. We’ll be back!
Excellent service and amazing food. Loved the presentation of the plates.
We have been to Saketumi in the past but they outdid themselves this time. The food was fantastic! It was imaginative, and beautifully presented. Service was terrific and we look forward to going back again soon.
As always, we had a wonderful meal at Saketumi. Great choice of beverages, cosmos to sake. Sashimi is presented beautifully. Dish described as "hot" was not all that hot, according to diner, but delicious. Two chirashi meals were big hits as well.
Excellent surprise. Looks so unassuming from the outside. The food was excellent. We will definitely go back.
Stopped in Saketumi a month back for a quick bite & were impressed with the freshness & quality of the sashimi & a Thai soup. We decided, based on that experience to return for my wife's birthday. Keep in mind we drove from Jersey to Rehoboth instead of going to Philly or NYC as usual. The reservation I CLEARY noted was for a birthday & although no mention was made when we were seated I thought that would be at the meal's end.
We ordered 2 appetizers which we OK but not standout & moved on to a large array of sashimi & 2 rolls. The presentation was very nice but that's were it went wrong. The Spider roll was delicious as was the scallop sashimi but the rest was not fresh and/or not good quality. The uni (our favorite) looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of the tray & was East, not West coast as on the menu & was definitely a few DAYS old. The tuna was SO THIN you could see thru it & the toro although the right size was BAD; we left 1/2 a $10 slice & I only swallowed the first slice because I didn't want to spit it out in the dining room. Sorry; I don't need to drive 2 hours for low quality fish.
I mentioned the complaints to the server & she said it would be taken care of; it wasn't. She asked it we wanted dessert which we declined & the check was dropped; no mention of the birthday or even a scoop of sherbet with a candle. I again mentioned this to the hostess as we were leaving & got only "deer in the headlights" for a response.
Our hotel when we arrived had a box of chocolates & a nice birthday card waiting upon arrival. We will avoid Saketumi on our frequent visits to Rehoboth; there are many great places to dine & unfortunately this turned out not one. Never again.
Love the sushi!
Saketumi is a modern style Japanese sushi house with cold/hot plates and seasonal foods. The interior is very simple with clean lines and simple decor. There is a sushi station with seating and regular style tables as well. The menu consists of everything from basic sushi to hot pates with many types of fish, beef and pork. Everyone was very friendly and our waiter was very friendly and helpful and attentive to all our dining needs. This is our 6th visit there and the food and service have been consistently good. I tried something new this time and thought I was getting some basic sushi and a work of culinary 'art' was brought to my table(see uploaded photo). Great place for something off the beaten path.
New Years Eve dinner with friends. Although very busy, our server, Nicole was extremely attentive and totally made the visit enjoyable. Food was tasty but we could tell somewhat rushed. Otherwise a very pleasant evening.
Food was ok amd not as good as prior meals. I recommend ordering dishes from the Chinese and Japanese selection over the Thai selections
We went for lunch on Christmas Day, and had a wonderful meal, all the more so as it made for a pleasant change to the usual festive fare.
Been here many times. Always great food and excellent service. Menu range from fresh made Sushi to Steak & Lobster. Terrific cocktails and wine list.
A wonderful, creative Asian fusion restaurant - the most wonderful sushi rolls in the area!!!!!
Quality of food and service was top of the line. Ambiance was not as expected. Too loud and furniture needs some TLC.
We were skeptical because the menu reflected multiple Asian cuisines. But, after sampling Japanese, Thai and Chinese, we decided they pulled it off. Though it was our first time, we will definitely return.
This is an excellent restaurant with a lot of different things and types of food to choose from. The service was excellent. I can't believe we have lived in this area for 8 years and this is the first time we have tried it. We will certainly be back!
Awesome food so fresh
We are vegetarians so love the many
choices offered, and this was the reason
we returned, and will again when we next visit Leeds.
Love the vegetarian dumplings, scallion pancake, spring rolls
Wish more vegetarian main courses.
We finally decided to try Saketumi and were pleasantly surprised. Our server was attentive and responsive. The food was presented nicely and was very flavorful. The portion for the seafood vegetable tempura was enough for three! We're planning a return visit.
I can't go anywhere else for happy hour ! Staff is phenomenal too!
I ate here with my boyfriend. We can't recall what he ordered as his main course but we had the Rock Shrimp and I ordered the Dynamite roll as my entree. Everything was prepared well and we had a great time. The wait staff was really friendly. We'd come back if are visiting the area again and are in the mood for sushi.
A great find in Rehoboth Beach!
Great food and service. Pleasant surroundings and the sushi/rolls are always fresh and delicious. Thanks!
You will alwAys be surprised how well prepared, fresh and delicious this underrated restaurant is. Any Suchi or Sashimi didn I've ordered is sublime.
My wife likes traditional, cooked fare, and never goes wrong with their Kung Pao dishes.
Johnny, the manager, is a very warm and welcomed greeter.
Lance is our favorite server. He will remember what you ordered if you've been there in the past. He is a kind-hearted truly dedicated professional.
