Japanese
Sake no Hana bar and restaurant is housed on the first floor of a modernist Grade II listed building in the heart of St James, offering modern Japanese dining. The a la carte menu provides a variety of hot and cold appetisers, charcoal grill, Toban and Kamameshi dishes, while sushi and sashimi are prepared to order at the 13 seat sushi bar. A carefully selected list of sakes, Japanese whiskeys and other wines, spirits and liqueurs complement the dishes offered in the restaurant. Sake no Hana’s interiors were designed my esteemed architect Kengo Kuma and the bar includes a beautiful futuristic chandelier, offering the perfect space for post work cocktails. Cloakroom available. ALIPAY and weChat payment accepted.

We had the £51 Signature set meal that comes with 3 drinks. We choose the beef main, cooked at the table delicious and at no extra charge. All the food was excellent and tasty and each mouthful brought back memories of the time we lived in Japan. Service is attentive , the only small improvement would be if the courses particularly at the beginning were not brought to the table so quickly. Slower please. Otherwise thank you a lovely meal.

The food was amazing and the atmosphere perfect.
I would not recommend their menu which is overpriced and not enough options - 3 drinks included is not a practical choice.
There were a few hiccups in the service, but everybody was very nice.
Great place for a celebration.

Except for the truffle clay pot rice, all other dishes were a little disappointing and lacklustre.

It was the worst experience in Sushi restaurant in London! The service was very bad, they were rushing everything. The chef is not Japanese and I can tell by the way they made sushi that they were not showing respect to food at all! I was sitting at the counter table so I see the process of making each dish. It was overrated and over price. The sashimi was not fresh. The only thing that taste good was water. Honestly, I can get a better sushi at Wasabi.

Getting the waiters attention is a full time job, but the food is fantastic.
