About Sake Hana
The owner is from Manhattan, Mew York; as are many of the others who work at Sake Hana. Our goal is to bring the freshest fish and ingredients to our guest. Our manager has over twenty-five years of gourmet food and beverage experience and cares about each and everyone of our products. We have our fish delivered fresh five to six times a week in order for us to keep our stocks as fresh as possible. Our restaurant"s motto is "We believe that fine dining is a form entertainment for our guests, which has to be complete with good food, fine drinks and excellent service." We provide high-end luxury at affordable prices.

It was a wonderful place and have been there many times. Their meats such as steak is always cooked perfectly. Service was amazing every time a drink was empty she was always back with in 2 min. There sushi is top of the line and always fresh a wonder ful place
Great as always this place is a gem. We've been coming here since they first opened and for the convenience, price, and quality it's well worth it. We've eaten sushi everywhere we go and this place is hard to beat. The rolls are always amazing and super fresh. Only place we ever had better sushi was in Hawaii and they were catching it that day there so it's a whole different thing.
The best sushi around. It was definitely worth going out of the way for. The cucumber lollipops were amazing, as was the seaweed salad. We have 3 rolls (Spicy Girl, Mango Tango and Philadephia). They were all outstanding. We couldn't even decide which ones was our favorite. I can't wait to go back and try more.
We had requested a booth when we placed our reservations on OpenTable and when we arrived a gentleman explained they didn't have a booth available because he had gotten the times mixed up. It wasn't a big deal to us and we gladly accepted a table. He brought us an order of edamame on the house for the mistake. (Totally not needed but very much appreciated. Thanks!) The service was fast and steady. We ordered miso soup and the stuffed jalapeño poppers. Very good. Then we order a few sushi rolls to split which were all great. We ordered one of their special rolls they had for the night (roll with tiger wrap) and were blown away. We agreed it was our favorite of the night. We had a great date and hope to be back soon.
Sake Hana set the bar high with past visits. Everything from the arrival (hostess) to the service and food was always excellent.
However, my last visit was during a slow time and the service was even slower. We sat for 10-15 minutes before anyone acknowledged we had been seated.
Maybe our server hadn't been notified we were seated. Things got much better when the top notch food arrived.
Overall, dining at Sake Hana was a relatively positive experience. I was impressed with the lighting, it reminded me of establishments in Singapore. The table, however, exhibited obvious signs of wear. The noise level was very high and detracted from the experience. I do not fault the restaurant for the noise. The pork potsticker (gyoza) appetizer my date had were quite good? The pork spring roll were uninspiring. The sushi I had was fair. I say so because the fish was not cool but at room temperature. The flavor was good but I was put off by the temperature of the fish. The wasabi was potent and a nice serving of ginger was provided. The miso soup was good. My date ( native Japanese) had a seafood stir fry. The flavor was OK but it was almost swimming in liquid. Portion size was adequate. Our server was fantastic. Jen did a fine job and we tipped accordingly. I did see some California roll creations on other tables and I was intrigued but may not have the opportunity to revisit...
We had to ask 3 different people to wait on us after waiting 15 minutes. Then it took over half an hour to get our drinks. When we ask to speak with the Manager, the bad service continued. We were expressing our frustration to him and he told us to stop speaking. Our food came out wrong. My cousin specifically asked for something to be left out, due to an allergy. The food had to come back. The manager then was trying to push dessert on us even though we just wanted to leave. The food is good but the service is awful. I will not be back.
Celebrated my Birthday tonight. Our server, lily, was wonderful- very friendly and engaging. The best part of the night was lily bringing a complimentary dessert with a birthday candle and sang 'happy birthday' to me. Thank you all for making it so special.
This was a great find. It's hard for me to get excited about sushi restaurants these days, very often indistinguishable or uninspired. Sake Hana really stands out from the crowd. The fish was perfect, fresh, beautiful colors and textures. The rolls were creative, very generous with the fish and light on the rice. The sashemi dinner special was a great value, and dramatic presentation. Server and manager were very attentive, friendly. This will become my "go-to" sushi restaurant!
WOW - this place is totally stealth out there in a strip mall in Avondale! Very good fresh-tasting Asian food, and my husband said the sushi was very good. This place is now our go-to place when we want asian food. They need to improve a little on the cocktail side (brought us a list of Scotch when we asked about their Bourbons, weren't sure what we were saying when we said we wanted a martini "up"), but you are not there for the drinks, and I would just speak clearly when you order drinks and make sure they write it down exactly as you want it. The waitress was really nice, and the manager was hands on.
