Service was very slow. Had to ask for coffee and water multiple times to different waiters. My friend's omelette was filled w the wrong ingredients entirely and as a result we didn't pay for it. My eggs Benedict was tasty but the haphazard service was regrettable.

Have been coming here for years and years whenever we have theatre in the area and it has always been consistent. So enjoy the endive salad and the moules frites. And always enjoy the extras of the assorted olives, the crisp crackers and the little madeleines at the end. How nice that they continue this pleasant treat. And also like the several choices for a glass of rose.

A bistro, but not any bistro. We’ve been coming here for years. The food continues to be scrumptious. The ambience is lovely complete with beautiful paintings and posters. They have pre-theater down to a science. One cannot go wrong here and most likely will do right here. Bon appetite!

Totally acceptable restaurant in midtown. Nothing leapt out as groundbreaking but there was nothing to complain about either. Its menu is pretty extensive, making it a good choice for a group that has a lot of different tastes and palates. Prices were reasonable. Lot of people there for pre-theater dinner, I assumed.

I will be back when looking for a good solid meal.

Saju was surprisingly good!
I live in New York and Times Square area is not a go-to place for me or my family when it comes to dining. But after a show at Town Hall this was hands down our first choice to dine. Mind you this was our first time and it was pretty late for dinner but we were all satisfied with our meals and the wine selection too! Our server was wonderful and i will definitely be back just to check out what they have to offer for Brunch :)
I am bringing my out of town guests to this restaurant from now on....

Had dinner on a Sunday night, so without the regular theater crowd, Saju was much less packed than usual. We had a very pleasant and attentive waiter, and the food was enjoyed by all.

DIscovered this French Mediterranean restaurant while searching for a restaurant near theatre district. Definitely authentic. Meal was fantastic. We shared a lamb shank which was prepared nicely. Will return as often as we can. Was a pleasure. The wait staff was excellent.

Pre-theatre dinner. We had just gotten tickets to see the Book of Mormon and decided to go to a spot nearby that could accommodate a fast but decent dinner. Saju Bistro did not disappoint. The salmon was perfect and we were in and out in less than an hour. The pate was not good, I wouldn’t recommend. Ambiance was romantic and quaint. Overall good choice for the area.

We dined at Saju after a matinee. This was my favorite restaurant of my week-long dining in NYC. At first we thought the service was going to be snooty but the host and owner were over the top friendly, accommodating and proved they care about their customers. They asked if they could open the window by our table which turned out to be the entire wall to the street. What a treat. The weather was amazing and it sealed the experience. All the food we ate was wonderful. The goat cheese tart was the best thing I had all week. We also had parpadelle with beef cheeks - extremely aromatic and delicious. And the goat cheese ravioli in light pesto sauce was perfect.

All the food was well prepared BUT the pasta with grilled eggplant and olives was missing eggplant...there wasn’t any in the dish. A latte was ordered but a cappuccino was brought. All the dishes were very good. My husband really missed having eggplant.

would not recommend. Not bad food per se, but not a bistrot. had a french onion soup, and never in my life had it with tomato sauce, as they added.
Also ordered a nicoise salad. Seems like a regular leaf salad, a some potatoes on the bottom and a bit of fruit.

We really enjoyed our ladies lunch Sunday. The menu was great, with a wide variety. The food was tasty and the service was very good. It was an easy enjoyable experience in a great broadway location. Plan to go back soon. We'll make it our theatre go-to.

Excellent pre-theater spot. Was able to get a reservation for a party of six on the day of, and the timing worked out perfectly for us to get to our show after dinner. The menu was extensive and everyone was very happy with their orders (both food and wine). The little plate of bite-size cookies at the end of the meal was also a nice touch.

This bistro has an authentic French feel and reminded me of restaurants in France. The menu, though, has more than French bistro food, including several pasta dishes and nightly specials. We enjoyed our dinner. My husband had the rabbit, and I had the pounded chicken and greek salad, which was excellent. The caprese salad special was quite good, and the desserts ample and tasty. The tab was pretty high, but this was a special dinner for us.
