About Saint Ann Restaurant and Bar
Designed by LA-based Shimoda Design Group and Harwood Design Team, Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar is the newest restaurant concept and has the largest garden patio in Dallas. Located next to Saint Ann Court, the historic St. Ann’s School was preserved and converted by Harwood International into a restaurant and bar surrounded by gardens and art. It is open for lunch, dinner, brunch, and drinks.
The original structure was built in 1927 as Dallas' first school for Hispanic children. In addition to the original structure, Harwood International has preserved the mural of "Our Lady of Guadalupe" and serves as the focal point in the gardens. The first level of the two-story red brick building is Saint Ann Restaurant & Bar and the second level features The Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection.
We are unable to reserve the patio due to the uncertainty of weather and it will be seated based on reservation and party size.

Saint Ann Restaurant and Bar Ratings and Reviews
We were on our way to see a show at the American Airlines theater so the location was perfect. Parking was easy with the valet, in and out was easy, the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I love the fire fountains out front. Good restaurant for either a date or a business meal.
We're never disappointed when we visit this restaurant pre-concert for the Dallas Symphony. We have only about an hour, but they manage the service very well and we never feel rushed. And they provide a variety of preparations for our favorite dishes - scallops and lamb. Always a new twist on our standard favorites!
I have been to Saint Anne's many times, approx. 8 times in 2017, however, after New Year's Eve I unfortunately will not be going back. I was unaware when booking the table that there was a limited menu for NYE, but that was not my primary issue. My boyfriend and I strongly feel that for what we paid ($200 for 2 people), the food was definitely lacking. My boyfriend requested that his steak be served without the mushroom sauce on it, however he was told the chef could not do that (we were one of four tables in the restaurant at that time). The chocolate lava cake was also very dry and inedible. We were also seated at the worst table on the patio (right on the side, which was freezing that night). I would like to point out that for what we paid, we would have much preferred to have gone to Capitol Grill, seeing at Saint Anne is simply not a competitor on that level. I have enjoyed Saint Anne's immensely the past year, however, after the chef treated my boyfriend, the unimpressive service, and the less-than-desirable New Year's Eve food, I will not be returning ever again. -
I celebrated my husbands and my engagement anniversary on NYE at Saint Ann’s with him. The ambiance was lovely, great food and excellent service. Prior to being seated at our table, the bar tender made us the most delicious jalapeño margaritas we’ve tasted. And, the drinks had us feeling pretty nice! Uh-huh!
We had not been in a while and were pleased to find that the noise level was much lower than the last time we were there. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The place is very pretty and inviting, especially on a cold winter night. Hopefully, the noise level will remain "bearable" since our reason for not returning before now was that it was so noisy you could not hear the people across the table from you. We did enjoy our evening there.
We had a great anniversary dinner at Saint Ann. The atmosphere is really cozy and romantic. The service was considerate and very quick. We loved the spinach dip and wine flight we ordered. I had the sirloin steak and it was delicious. We ate inside because it was cold, but the outdoor patio looks amazing. I would definitely recommend Saint Ann for a romantic date or friend get together. Awesome time.
Love the character of the building. Easy parking right across the street. Noise level is too high. Even in the courtyard, it’s difficult to carry on a conversation without yelling. Service is “ok”. Not the friendliest or the timliest. Doesn’t matter if your in the suburbs or the heart of Dallas ....everyone should be welcomed with a warm smile and should feel appreciated for dining there. There are many places to choose for dining.
We ha e been to St Ann's many times. We love the atmosphere of the restaurant. We waited between 45 minutes to sn hour to get our food. It was not a busy night. Our food was served cold. We mentioned it to our waiter and his response was that they could "reheat it". It was very disappointing. We ended up being late for the Nsverick game.
