Easter Sunday! Ambiance was great!
Great Easter brunch! Staff was awesome!
Saint Ann is awesome restaurant! Great food, nice patio, and amazing mimosas! Highly recommend
There are wine flights and some interesting cocktails available. The food was good but nothing to write home about. But, that's not why you got to St Ann. You go for the atmosphere and the drinks. Clientele was a little uppity, but that's fine as long as you don't mind the occasional judgmental eye. We had a good time, even with some of the judgements.
They won't seat you unless at least half of your party is there. That's fair but info that would have been good to know before bothering the hostesses, thus writing it on here.
Bathrooms were nice (completely walled and doored instead of partial doors/stalls) but small.
Overall, a good experience in a nice part of town. Might go back some time.
Went for a lunch and it was a perfect place to sit on the enclosed patio and have a few cocktails. I love the look and feel of the restaurant; relaxing enough to feel really comfortable yet upscale enough to feel like you are treating yourself.
This place is always solid.
A lovely place with excellent food. The outside dining area is beautiful. The jazz band was very close to our table, though, which made it a little loud.
Sisters reunion. We ordered the pork chop, sea bass, scallops and salmon. All cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Great wine list and the wait staff was awesome - young, fun, attentive and spot on. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Dallas.
Although they seem to change chefs and menus like the seasons, it's still one of the best patios in town! Great for pre-game drinks/snacks/meals.
We went for Sunday Brunch and they put us on the patio and the music was so loud we couldn’t even talk. If you are going to have music for Sunday Brunch have soft jazz or piano not rock. Our waiter took a long time to wait on us and to take our order.
Menu was a bit limited...I like not having a buffet, but then breakfast items were limited....I really appreciated the fact that they honored our reservation time, as we had theater tickets to follow...
Our party of 6 was very well accommodated as we dined prior to a concert at the American Airlines Center. The food was great! We had bacon wrapped chicken and jalapeño poppers and Tuna Tartare as our appetizers; both were fantastic! Drink selection is also wonderful as well as the drink quality. Entrees around the table ranged from burgers to scallops to brick chicken and all guests were delighted. It poured down rain the day we were there but we could only imagine how awesome the space is when the patio is open. Thank you for treating your out of town guests so well!
We had a party of 8 and it was raining outside. The hostess tried to sit us in the covered patio area which was leaking and had puddles all over the floor. When we asked to be seated at another table, we were moved however she seemed annoyed of our request. Our server was great and the food was decent.
We went to saint ann’s for my birthday brunch. I was an amazing ambiance yet lacked in menu selection. We were unable to make any modifications to the meals as we were told that is the only way they will serve it. But all in all it was a good experience. Make sure no one in your party has a food allergy because they will not be able to assist.
Great atmosphere. Great service. Great for business lunch or date night.
Awesome restaurant that you must visit!
The service and entertainment is great. My only con would be the tables for 2 are too small and you should be able to substitute the sides that come with your meal.
My chicken was raw, the second meal was below average. The ambiance was nice; however, the noise level was very high.
Reservation was pushed back per the restaurants request. We did not see the waitress much during our dining experience. The waitress did not check on us after the food was delivered. We had a lot of empty drinks and individuals who wanted to order but could not due to lack of waitress presence. She was outside smoking. When she finally came back she asked if we wanted our checks making us feel rushed. The checks were wrong multiple times. This was not the way we wanted to spend my wife’s birthday brunch. In addition, her birthday was not recognized.
The hosting staff at the front was rude and unaccomdating
Girls night was a success. The food was great and the service outstanding
The ambiance of the restaurant was great. However, the food was hit or miss. I got the filet mignon, which was kind of chewy and bland/under-seasoned. It was not worth the $40 I paid for it. My friends had the pizza, which they stated was just "okay," and which they likened to Cici's pizza. Again, not worth the money paid for it. The truffle fries were excellent, however. Additionally, the service was slow, and the waitresses did not pass by our table very often.
The place is so cute! But the service is so slow. There are several people running around but I am not sure what they do. We noticed our serve had tables in the far back inside the restaurant and then use outside. So I am not sure why they don't have "sections," but what a pain to flag down our server. We sat 20 minutes with no one taking our order. Also, getting our check in the end took another 20 mins. We ordered: Cauliflower, bacon wrapped chicken, truffle flatbread, and ceviche. The cauliflower was too hard and not flavorful, the bacon wrapped chicken was good, the truffle flatbread was extremely doughy (think more cheese bread than flatbread, and the ceviche needed less spice and more salt. The old fashioned was just straight bourbon, no flavor or large ice cubes. Took one sip and did drink anymore. The server never noticed or even offered another drink. The band was good BUT extremely loud. You had to get very closer to your server to talk and hear. And there are no heater for cooler nights. Way to many options in Dallas to spend time here. Thank you. Next.
We had to wait a bit for our drinks... it was a busy happy hour. However - overall, food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Loved the spicy tuna tartar. We enjoyed being seated at a cozy booth. A great dinner before a Mavs game!
Wait staff was very slow (to the point of inattentiveness) and food had absolutely no seasoning. This was on a slow Sunday evening.
Good food and good service. We will definitely be back.
We went to Saint Ann's for wine and snacks. We were seated on the patio and after 10-12 mins of no service I had to go to the desk and ask if we could be moved to inside where it seemed to have better service. Once inside our waitress was great! The food was just ok.
Terrible experience with the hosting team. Lied about the table during reservation and did not give us the table they promised. When asked my we were not given the table we asked for even though it was available, they came up with a stupid lie which they even knew it was not making sense. They do not care about their customers once they arrive.
Got a little hot with the flaps down on the patio outside, but once they were lifted we had an amazing meal with a very cool ambiance. Loved the food- salmon was delish. Service was prompt and the waiters were working super hard! Love the vibe of Saint Ann- the inside bar is really well-designed also.
Everything was great! We can’t wait for our next date night
Food was amazing but the service was slow. We only saw our waiter about 3 times and it took 15 minutes of being seated with no water before he even introduced himself to us. Food was good but there are plenty of delicious restaurants in Dallas with better service.
We had dinner there before Buble concert. Service was excellent until about 1 1/2 hours before performance and then it dropped off quite a bit even though the restaurant didn't seem full.
Also, our food arrived cold. I would still go back again and recommend to others. I have dined here several times in the past and never had this trouble.
good atmosphere - service was marginal - noise level high
liked the place and the food options were good - and the choices made were enjoyable - their signature sweet potato fries came cold and late - sent back - overall not overly displeased and might try again
first time there - since attending an AAC Concert and it was close
This was my first time here, after a friend recommended it. The food and the service were very good. The ambiance, the short wait, and the beautiful weather made it a memorable dinner. Great restaurant for a nice date!
It was lovely! Service was great! Salmon dinner was out of This world! Only complaint really was that they didn’t have a second bottle of champagne that I wanted so I ended up getting a glass instead of a bottle as there was nothing else in that price range...that was a big disappointment and too bad for the server as he would
Have gotten more money in the end based on the bottle vs. glass that I ended up getting-recommendation to expand wine list slightly to offer more than one bottle in the price range.
Hello Maren, Thank you for all of the wonderful compliments from your last visit with us here at Saint Ann. We are very happy to hear that you and your guests enjoyed your visit and that it was filled with delicious food and friendly service. I would like to apologize for us running out of the wine you were enjoying but with busy season hot on our heels we will have plenty of bottles available for your next visit including some new large format options!
Second time to dine here before a concert at AAC. The first time it took over an hour for our food to come out. We were late to our concert after being forced to scarf down our food in a matter of minutes. This time we arrived an hour and a half before we needed to walk down to the concert. Ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees. After an hour of being there our appetizers finally arrived to the table but we were informed our entrees would take another hour to prepare. We decided to close out and eat at the concessions at AAC and not be late to the concert again! Staff was kind and friendly but it seems the kitchen is ill prepared to handle concert goers who like to dine before their event! What we did have of our appetizers was enjoyable. It’s too bad we were unable to enjoy our entrees.
Food and service were amazing!
The food and atmosphere is hard to beat at any Dallas brunch experience. Great outdoor environment in the midst of all the tall buildings. Hard to believe you're downtown.
Chef has a good handle on all your favorites always with a small twist.
Only problem was my check was $100+ more than it should (I was charged for the large table adjacent to mine). I had to point out to my waiter but he was quick to make the adjustment.
Would still return again next week.
We were seated at a tiny table, barely big enough for our party of four, in spite of the fact that we had a reservation. We were very cramped. My chair literally could not be moved back any further, as there was a brick pillar in the way. Also, one entree came out well after the other three.
I would recommend because of the location, but I would suggest putting stipulations on the reservation.
This restaurant is well worth a visit. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Plenty of wait staff who are attentive without hovering. Complimentary valet parking as well. Great choice for dinner before the theater or sporting events.
They seated us in an awful place right in front of the door even though we had a reservation and there weren’t plenty of seats.
