Always so good! Love this place!
My go to for sushi. They have the BEST sushi flights and the crown roll is my fav!
In Open Table you cannot tell that the seating is outdoors. It is December and although it's San Diego, it was not comfortable sitting outdoors and eating in coats.
Loved the Saiko and Crown rolls, and the Apocalypto cocktail. Happy hour is a great deal!
Seated next to speaker - difficult to have a conversation. Didn't feel particularly welcoming to anyone over 40.
Love this place, go there all the time. Sushi is amazing!
The noise level was so high we could not carry on our conversation without raising our voices, there were five of us.
The food was good and served promptly when it was prepared.
The three Japanese people in our group thought the food was good. Maybe they were being polite.
This is the only restaurant my husband and I frequent in our community even though we've seen the prices increase as the size of the servings decreases.
Excellent quality fish with very creative rolls. The service is great and the vibe is cool.
Very good sushi, seaweed salad was our favorite part
The staff was very attentive without hovering. Never felt rushed. Stayed much longer than expected taking time to order portions at a time rather than the table being overwhelmed with food. Felt it was good value for everything we ate and drank.
Staff seemed unhappy to be there, but the sushi was delicious and overall a nice place.
We had a group of 10 and they were up front with us about one check and 18% gratuity included for groups of this size. The staff was friendly, helpful with recommendations, sushi was delicious, and service took a reasonable amount of time. Love this place!
Sushi was fresh, tasted great. Servers very attentive.
Wonderful experience. Sushi chef Amberly develops unique sushi combinations which are visually and gastronomically appealing. Our favorite restaurant ever
Extremely long wait for each item we ordered. While sushi was excellent, poor service cannot overcome the delicious food
Best sushi restaurant on Coronado Island. Would highly recommend
Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had! Inventive rolls you can’t get anywhere else, and the fresh flavor of the fish isn’t hidden.
Our reservation was at 8:30 pm, they told us to order before 9pm and so we did, we ordered a pitcher of Sake.
Our food was good and the server was friendly, but at 9:30 p.m. they brought us the bill and started picking up the table in a bad attitude so that we could leave, they took the pitcher from Sake that still had almost half of it, and they went back the sushi bar to take our Sake.
The worst service, do not go
One of our favorite Sushi spots in San Diego. Just a quick walk from the Coronado ferry landing.
Well it’s our favorite restaurant , and we have been going there for years , recently they have lost or changed Su chefs managers and bartenders. we ordered our usual drinks , a black rose Manhattan , a Saiko mule and a rose Mary’s baby ,one they did not have correct ingredients for and suggested a new special , it was terrible , the second they substituted a liquor for one that they were out of( liquor store 200’ away) and the Mule was undrinkable we left 30.00 of cocktails sitting on the table , they were all drinkable , the bartender transition is a problem . Doing nothing to correct a problem for long time regulars is a problem ,
Good but not great
Great food and service!
Great , our favorite Sushi restaurant in the world , tourist season is upon us , reservations are a must
The service is great, the food is amazing! Best place to get sushi on Coronado island. Also the chef Amberly is amazing!!
So good. Wow. Super fresh fish and amazingly unique specials. Service was top notch.
We always love the food at Saiko and that we can bring our pup! Staff is always great and food is awesome! If you’re looking for well chosen sake options and a fun atmosphere then look no further!
Food was great both times we went. The Bar Tenders are very friendly and make great drinks. Happy Hour from 4:30-6:00.
Awesome! Great & friendly service. Amazing food. Awesome drinks.
Overall pretty good, but I’ve had better rolls and sashimi in Denver. Expect better right here by the ocean.
Great little sushi place!!
Our favorite restaurant in Coronado. Great sushi, creative combinations. Wonderful cocktails and pairings.
Higher end neighborhood sushi and Japanese place, cheerful and capable staff, nice but utilitarian layout, some outside seating.
We enjoyed the food....saki was good also, we will return
I love seiko sushi. The sushi is delicious and beautiful. We even requested a roll we had years ago not on the menu that he remembered how to make. An amazing sushi and dining experience. A great date spot and one of my favs in San Diego!! Will keep going back again and again.
Great food. Not a place to linger. They like you to enjoy their food and leave.
Awesome. Love this place. Order of the specials boards. Can't go wrong.
This used to be our favorite sushi place but lately we've noticed the nigiri is smaller and our favorite roll was prepared different last two visits--which is a bummer when it's a favorite and comes out not as expected. The service here has never been great so that's nothing new but I still wish employees were given better customer service training.
We are regulars. We enjoy this place. The sushi chefs need a little finesse. But everybody else is amazing. Thank you Saiko Sushi
It was great
