Sage is a beautiful restaurant with great food and beverages. The night we were there they also had a singer who was very good. It was a special night out for my husband and me and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the Greek salad we shared through our entries and to the Italian cream cake for dessert. Everything we had was delicious. Bill was our waiter and he made us smile. Thanks, Sage and Bill!
This was our first time dining here. Overall it was pleasant experience.
There is a nice ambience to the place, dark, warm, cozy. Service was solid, and the food was nicely proportioned and tasty.
We did enjoy the mussels, that particular dish was truly the highlight for us.
The restaurant was full when we around 15 minutes early for our 8:15pm reservation. We went to the bar to get a drink and waiting about 20 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine and the check. The bartender seemed stressed and wasn't very friendly. Other people at the bar were getting frustrated as well, waiting for him. When we got seated, we didn't see our server for over 7 minutes. When he came over, he seemed like he really didn't want to be there and told us his name and his assistant, who we never saw. I was shocked by the description he used to describe his assistant. Giving us her name would have been enough. Our appetizers took at least 20 minutes and the server let us know that the kitchen was backed up, but he didn't know why. He said, "it's not like we're busy." Our entrees came and I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was delicious. The seafood broil did not look very appealing but, according to my date, tasted ok. I understand when restaurants are crowded and servers/bartenders/managers get flustered. But both our bartender and server were not professional AT ALL! I was very surprised and disappointed.
Great good, drinks and service on a very busy night.
Really enjoyed our dining experience at Sage. Great ambience, Great food and wine menu, great waiter, excellent food preparation and presentation.
We went for Valentines Day the ombiance was great. The atomsphere was wonderful the waiter was so helping and caring. I will definitely come back.
Valentine’s dinner gone bad! There are too many issues with this restaurant that I even feel like detailing. Way too long for food prep. Steaks not cooked as ordered. Bland for the price. Texas Roadhouse far better steak and prime rib for far less price. The GM did take care of our entire meal which Otherwise I would have walked out after we sent plates back for correction , but even being free really did not help the bad taste or long service. Waitress was friendly and apologetic but I’m not so sure she wasn’t part of the issue with some of the problems. Too loud. A restaurant with this price point should be better quality and overall experience. Unfortunately , won’t be back even after the appropriate gesture of having our entire meal comped.
Have eaten at Sage 3 - 4 times and enjoyed them all.. Went on Valentines Day and my experience was disappointing. Long-delay taking our order, food took over 25+ minutes to the table, salmon was slightly undercooked, never got t our bread, (were told they were cooking more).. Forgot beverage refill etc... Just wasn't a good time it appeared they were overwhelmed by the number of diners and were short on staff. That being said, I will go back ; my prior dining experiences were all good.
The rating was based on the kitchen telling servers they would not entertain special requests. In addition, went the food arrived my food was not hot and my wife's plate was missing part of the food.
Excellent service and excellent food! The owner was amazing and treated us with great respect!
