   The food was prepared well. The service was slow and not very attentive. The server was very polite, though, and maybe slow because short staffed. Ate at other Caesars steakhouse in Tahoe and definitely a step down. Views were spectacular though.

   Excellent food and amazing views! We reserved ahead of time on opentable and I requested a table with a nice view for my wife's birthday and got what might have been the best table in the place, right in the front corner. With the great weather it was awesome and she loved it. Food was all amazing overall and a decent wine selection (though it was disappointing that most reds by the glass are in the hight $20s to high $30s per glass). Wife had the sea bass special and thought it was great, I had the prime rib and it was great also (although the creamed horseradish sauce was a little weird, was that mustard added in? Not necessary), but oysters were good and the lobster bisque and baked lobster apps were outstanding. Overall highly recommended as possibly the best dining experience we've had in SLT so far. Not cheap by any stretch, but definitely a great meal and amazing views.

   The food was great! The chef even made Shrimp Scampi for my wife which is no longer on the menu. Outstanding! The wait staff is very professional and on the spot.

   When I made the reservation I let them know it was for a birthday & would love to get a window, lake view table, if available. Well, sure enough they gave us a perfect table, I couldn’t have asked for a better one. Jim, our waiter, was excellent and took great care of us. It was a wonderful evening. Thank you!

    Ordered the shared 40oz porterhouse (med-rare) and it was served med well. The server forgot the pre fix appetizer, but replaced it with a complimentary dessert when she realized the oversight. The tableside made salads and flambéed desserts were the highlight from an otherwise average meal.

    Troy the General Manager and sommelier is great, so is Cy the server both are very professional and great at their jobs. The food is fantastic, love the spinach salad flambe food options are great and they have a lot of them.

    The food was delicious. Prepared at the table and nice show. The table close to us was a little noisy but there were 8 people at that table. It would have been perfect if they were farther away.

    The Sage Room continues to deliver great food and service. The ambiance is beautiful and the views outstanding. While pricey, you get what you pay for. Our server, Hal, did an excellent job with providing service that makes you feel special.

    Food was excellent. Bottle of Napa Valley ZD Cabernet was great with our steaks. Jericho, our server was perfect. Allowed us time in between courses to enjoy the food, ambiance and conversation. Will go back to Sage Room next time visiting Tahoe.

    A group of us went for my 40th birthday and we had a lovely time. The food and service was amazing. The only suggestion I would make is we had 1 vegetarian in the group and they do not offer a vegetarian entree. We will be back to the Sage Room again!

    Went for the first time for Valentines Day. Menu was disappointing as well as the food. Not much options to choose from being a three course dinner. Considering we spent more than $600 I would have imagined the food was going to be delicious. I was so disappointed. Not coming back in the future.

    Belated birthday gathering and Valentine’s Day. The advertisement said $110/pp with a wine pairing. When we arrived the price was the same but no wine. The food was ok but not good enough to warrant $110. Place was busy so the service was only standard. Overall a very poor value for the money and I will not return to this location to eat.

    We went to Sage Room for Valentine’s Day, on a day they had a pre-set menu. So that is what I’ll be referring to, as I have no idea what their regular menu is like. The restaurant is beautiful because of all the views. Even our “non window” table allowed us to see outside well, still, and was gorgeous. Our waitress was very sweet, the hosts and bussers were very attentive, and the staff in general was great. The bread they give you was delicious. Our drinks (hubby had a blackberry sage old fashion, I had a pineapple mojito mocktail) were also very good. We both picked the ravioli for our appetizer, and they were ok. They tasted like beef stroganoff, and we ate them all, thinking we were off to a decent start. Then we had fish, steak or pork to choose from on the pre-set menu. I ordered fish, my husband got the steak medium rare. Our food came out and I honestly couldn’t even cut through my fish. It was a flakey white fish that did not flake in the slightest. I managed to peel a piece away and try it, and it was SUPER rubbery and full of bones, just in that one bite. My hubby’s steak was over cooked, which I actually like, so I stole his and the waitress was kind enough to make him another steak and take away my fish. I NEVER complain, so having to send that back means it was REAL bad for me to say anything. The next steak came out and it was SO rare, it looked like the outside was barely even seared. We ate what we could, despite the food not having much seasoning or anything. It just tasted bad, in general. Then dessert came out. It looked like a bath bomb, and coincidentally, tasted like soap. It was cute, though, they tried. Haha They gave me a rose when we walked in, the staff was great, and the waitress saw we didn’t eat much and ended up comping our drinks without us even saying anything. So, that was sweet! But the food? Nah. Sadly, it’s a no from us. It was a bummer to pay $250 for food we didn’t like, but that’s how it goes, I guess. I wouldn’t recommend.

    Prime rib was soooo fatty. Creamed spinach was really small. Onion soup was bland. Ceasar salad was oily. Martinis took forever and when they finally came the weren't at all cold.🙄3rd time there in a month and its just gone down hill. But a beautiful view!
