Love, love, love! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you as always!
Fantastic!! Everything was perfect! We would absolutely go back
Food was superb. Ate outside on a perfect evening. Easy distance to Allison House B & B in Quincy. Service was really fine.
We had a great waiter and the service was really nice. The food was mouth watering and the temperature of my steak was perfect!
Can’t wait to come back and try another delicious special!
PS I will pass the info out to my customers and friends.
Excellent brunch!! The food at Sage is always on point!! We will definitely be back!!
Had a wonderful time on Mother’s Day. Had good service and great good. Will definitely be back.
We went for early Mothers Day lunch.
The quiche was fluffy and the soup was creative. The escargot and crabcakes were delicious After insisting, the bartender made yummy aperol spritzes. Everyone was nice to the baby.
As always, the food and service were outstanding. This is our "go to" restaurant for special occasions.
This visit, however, was marred somewhat by the noise level. The main dining room is accoustically quite live and, even on this midweek occasion, there were two large groups in the room and any intimacy in the setting was diminished.
We will continue to favor this restaurant and recommend it to others. Now that they have expanded, they might consider placing large groups in the private dining room when possible.
First course was outstanding, French onion soup was burnt, salty and not something one would want to eat. The chicken crepe was good and would have been better if it wasn't se rd cold. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. We had to ask a different server for help, our server went Mia for most of the meal. I left a generous stip anyway, but it should have gone to the guy who really deserved it.
Delicious food. Creative menu. The dessert was exceptional. Guava cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake.
Lovely evening with good friends and it was calm and relaxed even though it was graduation weekend.
Excellent dinner at Sage celebrating our sons graduation from FSU. I would definitely go back if when we are back in Tally. Great service, excellent drinks and wonderful food! Our server was very professional and made sure we were attended to.
The menus was changed for graduation with top shelf selections which I did not object too except the selections were served with sauces and condiments that did not pair with the plates. We visited two weeks prior to try the food was spectacular. So the dishes on the regular menu were removed. The new dishes were not enjoyed. Our son who’s graduated ordered the leg of lamb served with a mixed medley ranging from pomegranate to zucchini with multiple varieties of sauces which he tried to just eat the lamb but left the rest. My husband ordered the fried New York strip which the batter so thick it covered the entire plate when removed it. and I ordered grilled snapper which had barbecue drizzle swirl around the plate and a avocado aioli sauce also swirled the plate and under the fish. The snapper I could not enjoy due to the combo of sauces. Such expense top shelf meats and fish do not require mayo barbecue sauce they speak for them selves. I hope in the future the restaurant in special occasion creates a menu with specials and keeps the famous menu they are known for.
Group of 7 for graduation lunch. Wonderful food all around and attentive service. Lovely restaurant with good customer service.
Graduation weekend so it was hopping! Yes everything was wonderful as always!!
A little to loud and cold (bring a jacket). Food and service fantastic.
The ambiance and interior of Sage is pitiful. Initially we were sat at a tiny table that was uncomfortably close to another party. We complained and were moved to another tiny table that was insufficient for dining. We’re not fat, so this isn’t a unique complaint. Unlike the interior, the outdoor seating looked lovely - but was understandably full. Ultimately we decided to leave after having a drink since the menu was uninspired. My advice to Sage: lose some tables and count your outside seating for liquor licensing purposes. Also - take a look at your entrees. Like your somewhat elderly clientele, you’re dying. ‘Country club’ dining at its worst. This was our second time at Sage and we won’t be going back.
Had the salmon. it was perfect. Love the food and ambiance but it is a little pricey. Had a $75 gift card but it goes beyond that easily. Great though!!!
Best crab cakes we've ever had! Always enjoy coming here, like a mini vacation -- good cocktails, pleasant servers, nice ambiance, and great food.
Our Server was incredible! Great knowledge of the menu, friendly, and very attentive. Current menu is delicious.
It was the perfect experience to take my colleague to celebrate admin/professionals day! As always, the food was outstanding, the service courteous, and ambience perfect for the occasion. The only negative, and I'm being picky, but the parking is dicey during peak times at Sage and one often has to park well to the back and side of the restaurant in the dirt/grass.
Sage never disappoints. We love the rotating artwork, it's always something to look forward to. The new menu had just come out and it was a refreshing change of wonderful offerings. The staff is upbeat and polished. The house white wine is delightful, whoever chose it, great job. We like coming in to have an upscale meal in a very relaxing restaurant. You are unique and much appreciated. We enjoyed our drinks and dinners were A+ -- applause to the chef!
We were there on Easter Sunday, so service and ambiance were probably a little more hectic than usual. We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely consider going back at a less busy time. Great restaurant.
Lovely meal, drinks and service
Waited over 1 hour for main course and 1/2 the entrees were no longer warm. Kitchen very very slow.
It was amazing, as always!
My husband got the Sage Salad with grilled steak, his favorite. I had the chicken mushroom crepe. Both were delicious.
Love it! One of the best in Tallahassee
Best restaurant I've dined at in Tallahassee. We had the Bone Marrow and Escargot for appetizers and both were superb. The bread was abundant, fresh with a crispy crust. Get the Beet and orange salad. It was enough for three to share (because we had apps). It was fresh and the dressing complemented the arugula. I ate the shrimp and scallops which was enough food post apps and salad. If you like a lot of food, don't order this dish. My son had a steak and it was cooked as ordered. My husband had the chicken which he said was really tasty. This dish was abundant (enough to take home for lunch). They will make you any kind of martini you like even if it requires muddling. The drink came garnished with a fresh flower. Picture worthy. I would definitely go back!
Exceptional food, spiced just right, cooked just right - best meal in Tallahassee. Service was exceptional as well providing food suggestions and team service.
As always, it is a delight to break bread at Sage. Peter was a great sever and the food , top notch.
Let me ad that the sauce on the steak frites was back to it’s original delishiousness!
Such a nice place to eat! My husband took me out for my birthday dinner and everything: food, service, wine, etc. was top notch!
Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and excellent service. The waitstaff was extremely professional and impressive. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Always a pleasure to be there. Staff is great and food predictably delicious!
This is the second time I have visited the restaurant. The first time I only had appetizers and it was pretty good. This time around we had meals from the new menu, and quite honestly I wish we would have stuck with the appetizers. The steak arrived cold and had to be sent back and the chicken was fair. For the amount of money we spent I would have expected everything to be memorable.
Very friendly and appropriate service, something on the menu to appeal to any taste. My only complaint with this restaurant, after dining here regularly, is that the ambiance is a little flat and cold, the tables a little close together; at times, getting bumped into by other patrons or staff can feel uncomfortable. Lunch is a good value, dinner is on the pricey side, but I've never been disappointed.
Lunch is the best, outside!!! I had the rainbow trout - it was the best!
Dinner was very nice. Our server was attentive, the food was good--especially the escargot and the duck pappardelle. Watch out for the specials, though, since they don't tell you the price if you don't ask: I wish our server or the chalkboard had mentioned that the 12-oz steak was $65! When it's double the price of the other entrees, they should maybe warn people. Ha.
Wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Sage. Waitresses were informative and quick to serve. Food was magnificent. Best resturant experience I've had in Tallahassee.
