Outstanding seafood in casual surroundings. The grilled octopus and the cod are both terrific. Order a little basket of pesto fries. Deelish! Reasonable prices. Ask your waiter about wines from outside Long Island - they are available.
Great lunch special - would go back for casual business lunch.
Loved this place. Can't believe it exists in one of the coolest neighbourhoods in NYC because the prices are really reasonable. Loved the fish tacos, they were superb, as was everything else. The service was great and the ambience was really fun. I hope this restaurant stays around for a long time.
The food was delicious, you must get the fries. Very good value as well. I will be going back.
One of the best new restaurant experiences I have had in NYC. All the food seemed so great on the menu it took us forever to choose. The food which was recommended by our server, were absolutely delicious. Beyond expectation. Everything was really great - service, ambiance, food, drinks, EVERYTHING. Spectacular!
My boyfriend & I had a truly amazing dining experience here. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was romantic, and the food was to die for. I had a surf and turf burger and my life will never be the same again. It had delicious lobster on top of an angus burger. We will be coming back ASAP
Its a convenient to get to from any direction. Ser ice not rushed but attentive. Creative selections, great for seafood lovers.
Great food, lots of seafood options, amazing service. Wonderful evening overall.
Very good meal. Ok service. Great lunch value. Lunch specials are a deal
Delicious food, better than I’d ever expect. Incredible service. Highly recommend
Very delicious food with a menu that offers a good range of choices - all very reasonable priced.
Attentive service. Desserts are REALLY wonderful!
Great staff. Bartenders need a little more experience on a few drinks (cosmo) but their kindness is unmatched.
Really nice for business lunch. Quiet. Great quinoa salad.
The foods was outstanding . I am surprise how easy it was to make a reservation.Their Paella 🥘 was one of the best I had, little bit small but very very tasty.
Snow crab legs was sweet and tender.
Half dozen Oyester and Littleneck sweet and juicy.
Definitely going back soon.
Great service, location and food! Staff were attentive and friendly. Fantastic selection of food and drinks in a great atmosphere!
Food was so good! One of the better grilled octopus plates I've ever had. Everything had a lot of great flavor. Looking forward to going back and trying other things on the menu.
Outstanding food and very reasonably priced, I’ll be back
we (4) were seated immediately, in a comfortable corner table. The background noise level was minimal, and we did not have to strain to hear each other. Food was very good. Wine list was very limited, as was the beer selction.
The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent for me and the people dining with me. While on one hand, that would be very nice, on the other hand it caused concern for us when a neighboring table of customers with dark skin pigmentation seemed to be totally ignored. The night was busy, but, when comparing the service provided to me (a white guy) and the two other white people with me, with that of the people at the table next to us, there is really no comparison. While the restaurant's food was amazing, I am still (days later) disturbed by the fact that I never needed to raise my white hand once to get a server's attention, but a woman at the table next to me had her black hand waving in the air for a long time, and she was still ignored. After too much waiting, they left the restaurant, without being served as much as a glass of water in all the time they sat. For that reason, while I cannot fault them for serving me poorly, I can and do fault them for what appeared to be discrimination based on skin color. I would love to give them a 5-star review, because the food was amazing, but an environment where there is discrimination cannot be described as being anything other than "poor."
Another successful dinner at Sagaponick. I had the baby kale Caesar salad and my wife had the burger - both delicious. We’ll be back.
great food, décor and dollar value. Too noisy, though.
They have changed their look and menu in the last year and it has made a big difference. The food is good and well priced. I will be back.
The four of us that dined were very pleased
With the dining experience. Although it's a very noisy bar atmosphere, we were able to be seated in a little quieter area. Happy Hour oysters were excellent($1.00 ea.) and the entrees were as well. We would all definitely return.
Great food, great decor, great value. Lunch specials are great and they certainly feed you!
Amazingly NOISY. Food is ok but expensive unless you order fish tacos which are good.
Small paella portion. Rib eye steak excellent. Noisy with loud music - made conversation difficult at a table for 4.
Great food great service!
Very bad acoustics. Employees seemed very juvenile.
Met a friend for lunch which was great; she works in the neighborhood & we had been one time before; it was a wonderful afternoon. Good was very good especially the French fries with that outrageous dipping sauce. Shrimp cocktail & fish tacos delicious as well. Service perfect as was ambiance. Will be back very soon .
Really loved the selections and a seafood-lovers restaurant!
I went here for a business lunch to celebrate the last day of a fellow colleague. The food and atmosphere were both great. Food was served in a timely manner which was helpful for a work lunch. Seafood was incredibly fresh and seasoned well!
Excellent place, and even better happy hour! Just don't get stuck under the vent - you'll freeze to death.
OK: the negative: the oysters (raw) weren't very good. Maybe it's the wrong month or something (or maybe if they can't serve good enough oysters they should withdraw them from the menu). Everything else was excellent--really fresh lobster, nice dessert, good local drinks. It's a bit noisy but manageable. The ambiance is nothing special, but the vibes are very good. We enjoyed dinner there a lot...
Great place for happy hour and dinner after work. The happy hour menu is great especially the $5 Wollfer estate wines. I love the steamed clams, rib eye and of course the pesto fries!! Also highly recommend the fish and chips. The fish melts in your mouth. The soft shell crab sandwich was too heavy and over fried.
The folks at this restaurant are exceptionally accommodating. They cheerfully adjusted the menu options to please my guests. good beer choices also.
I ordered off of the Saturday brunch menu and thought that the lobster benedict was disappointing...there was hardly any Béarnaise sauce and I certainly could not taste any tarragon. The English muffins didn't seem to be toasted and were soggy beyond belief. The salad greens were somewhat wilted and were served with a few drops of vinegar. The glasses of sauvignon blanc and prosecco did not taste very good, which was surprising since the effort is made to pick special long island wines. The service was very good and friendly which made up for the food. The atmosphere and neighborhood is very pleasant. Maybe just a new chef is needed!
Excellent food, good drinks and beer but a little loud and a bit pricey. I'd go back.
Excellent service and high quality seafood. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Met my adult daughter for a quick bite before she crossed the river to meet with her friend there. Location suited us perfectly. We enjoyed the All Long Island wine list, particularly the Wofford Rose. The Scotch wasn't bad either! ;-)
Very reasonable prices for Manhattan!
My wife and I will be back!
